I loved these shoes. I had a pair of Danskos for a few years that I also liked but they've stretched out. These are incredibly comfortable. I have flat feet and these shoes really support my arches. I think these are great and will probably purchase more in the future.

This shoe is amazingly comfortable. I need a good, supportive shoe that can carry me through the day and this is it. Looks great with pants.

Loved them so much I ordered a second pair in a different color. True to size, comfortable to wear, look great with boot cut jeans.

This is the third pair of this show that I have purchased through Zappos. It is perfect for the work I do which involves being on my feet much of the time, as well as a lot of walking back and forth. The only thing of note is that the first pair I ordered in 2008, felt a half size smaller than marked, but with your amazing return policy, I returned the pair, and received the proper sized pair very quickly.

I love Merrells. These are great shoes. I think they run a hair large. I could have probably gotten away with a 1/2 size smaller but I decided they needed leather conditioner and waterproofed on them so I can't return them. I will wait and see as I will be on my feet a long time. I wish they had narrow and it would probably be perfect.

Love them so far! Comfortable right out of the box. My only complaint is they are a little stiff, making it a little hard to get them on. I had to put on a thinner pair of socks (what I usually wear at work anyway). They're leather so I assume this will get better with time. Overall a great shoe and can't wait to wear them at work! :)

I have flat feet. This shoe fits very well and supports my feet while working at school all day. It looks good too.

I am on my feet 8-10 hours a day and I am tired of wearing athletic shoes. These Merrells are great shoes. Very substantial feeling and well made. The arch hit me a little funny but my inserts fit beautifully, leaving plenty of room for my foot. I have several pairs of Merrell sandals; this is my first pair of shoes. Highly recommend -- I may even get a pair in brown!

First and foremost - love Zappos! Love this shoe but as some of the reviews said it wears tight across the top of the foot. Disappointed - but then I remembered another review that said sometimes it's just that particular leather shoe. So I ordered another pair using Zappos fabulous return policy (in the same size) and yes, indeed it fit much better. I work on my feet 9 hours per day on concrete. Comfort is a must. I also pair good shoes with the (Super Feet) insoles and have eliminated my lower back pain. I always buy my work shoes at Zappos!

This is the second pair that I have owned of this style, first in brown. Super comfortable footbed, good traction, and they only take a couple days to break in. They look good with jeans and casual work pants. They are great for flights, because they slip on and off for security checks.

These are great shoes. Now that I have ordered up half a size (Zappos made it truly painless). Somewhat aggressive arch support, but I do not mind because it seems like it will be pretty good for the long run. I can see myself wearing these daily for a long, long time. Oddly, the shape of toe box is such that my third and fourth toes hit the end of the smaller size, not my big toe. Go figure.

These are great shoes for stability and comfort walking. One of the few brands that offers my size which is 10½.

Zappos is the only place I can purchase my Merrell shoes. I just love my Merrell Encore Eclipse. This is my third pair.of Eclipes. These shoes are built for comfort. Excellent quality. And it is so easy ordering from Zappos, their shipping and exchange policy are great.

Returning. I like the way they look, but they felt too small and tight to keep. I might order a half-size larger and go from M to W to see if those are better. I know the leather will stretch some with wear, but they seemed too stiff to count on it.

I really wanted to keep these Merrell's. After trying the 8 and 8.5, I decided I must be in between sizes in this particular shoe or Merrell's sizing is inconsistent. The Merrell Frill fits me perfectly.

All my shoes are Merrells. These are really cute, but the arch in the 10.5 is too far back in the shoe. I walked the length of my house and had to take them off. I've never had such a weird problem before. It's like when they were sizing up the shoe, they forgot to move the arch forward proportionally. They look great, and I'm bummed they have to go back because it's always a struggle to find shoes in my size that don't make my feet look like the giant boats they are.

These are comfortable, not too clunky shoes that I had high hopes for. The width was good, the heels fit nicely, the color (brown) was perfect. Unfortunately, they seem to run a little short and my toes would hit as I walked. I am a size 11, and it is hard to find shoes that fit. The search continues for comfortable, not ugly shoes.

I love these shoes. The footbed is good but the top of the shoes is big. My index finger fits between the top and my foot. I had to return them.

Loved these shoes but unfortunately they were too wide. I usually wear a narrow width but have a similar pair of Merrill shoes in the same size that fit well. So I thought that these would fit as well. No so. I will be sending them back.

Like the look; true to size. Did take breaking in to feel comfortable. Oddly right shoe was tighter and less comfortable than left.

It's taking me a while to get used to these shoes. They have an extremely firm and slightly higher arch support than I'm used to. They also are a bit narrow so I would suggest going with a wide shoe. The shoe tapers just before the toes and tends to grip my socks (regardless of thickness) and pull them uncomfortably tight over my toes. It takes me a bit to get them on without discomfort. I think the sock issue would be fixed if I had gotten a wide. Unfortunately I thought they just needed to be warn for a bit to stretch out so I'm stuck with them. They do not stretch at all which, again would be perfect with a wide shoe.

This shoe is very comfortable once you get use to the arch feeling like it might be too far back. Overall it feels good and the quality is good.

Comfortable, appealing shoes. Good quality. Wish they had a tab in the back to make them easier to put on. The heel scrunches down when I put them on. Other than that, I like them very much.
