I've had difficulty finding wide boots that accomodate my wide feet and an bunion, but these are great. Very soft and an excellent fit--I wore them all day right at the start and my feet are loving them. I think they would look dressier if there was an actual heel rather than just a raised sole, but that is the only issue I would change.

Tried on a bunch of black boots for walking around Europe on vacation. These felt great, good with jeans or a skirt and were stylish but not too trendy.

I have had many complements on how cute they look on my feet. I walked and stood in these boots for most of the day and my feet do not hurt. I use an orthotic for arch support and love these boots.

Love this little boot! Arrived yesterday and love love love the look and love the fit! Wore them all night on several types of surfaces. Comfy and cute!

Love these boots, bought them in black. I have narrow, flat feet and cannot wear nine out of ten shoes I try on. These boots were comfortable from the beginning. I wear a 9 1/2-10N, and the 9 1/2N gave me plenty of length in the toe. There was even room for a thin orthotic without pushing my foot uncomfortably against the upper. Because of my feet pronate badly, they look terrible in most shoes. My feet look "decent" in these boots--which I will gladly take.

Love these boots. Usually have trouble fitting boots due to a bunion. These fit perfectly and I was able to wear them for several hours right out of the box. They are very cute and look great with jeans.

These boots felt comfortable from the first wearing - after a summer of sandals. I can wear them all day at work or running errands.

I love these little boots! They are very light, the upper leather (I got the Stone version, which is suede) is very soft, and the footbed decently cushioned. There's no "breaking in" these boots because they are perfectly comfortable right out of the box. Plus, they're cute! The color is a lovely soft brown, very natural. The folds and all that business are more subtle in person, but add enough character to make them stand out among other casual boots. These have become my daily go-to's!

I have these in black & have worn them for 2 seasons. They are perfect in every way. I wear a 9.5N with a high arch. These are the most comfortable shoes I own.

I wore these almost every day in central Mexico, walking an average of 3 to 4 miles a day on cobblestones part of the time. I never had foot discomfort. They were like my comfortable bedroom slippers, only with support. I often got compliments on their looks. What a combination--comfort and style. I wore them out finally so I ordered another pair for next year. They were true to size for me.

These boots are comfortable and nice looking. I bought them for a NYC trip and they were perfect. Right out of the box, I walked for city miles in them comfortably.

I bought these boots before a trip to New York and thought they would be handy. Turned out I didn't take them off the whole time I was there. Walked an average of 5 miles a day and my feet didn't hurt once! Best pair of boots I have ever owned!

These are SO comfortable! I bought them to wear in the UK and Ireland when we go in April. I broke them in on a trip to Boston and, really, there was no breaking in period -- they were super comfortable right out of the box. No blisters, no sore feet!

My favorite shoes this winter! Can't believe how comfortable and cute they are, and I have plantar fasciitis, bunions, and arthritic toes. I even got compliments from my 20-something kids. I got them in a wide to accommodate my bunions, and they fit perfectly. Thinking of ordering them in every color.

Very comfortable bought these for my mom...she has wide feet and hammer toes and bunions and thus needs larger higher shoes to keep her feet comfortable. The color a little wonky...a little old fashioned. Other colors would be awesome.

Love these, actually considering ordering a second pair. They were roomy enough that I could add my insoles despite being unable to remove the built-in insoles. Cute, stylish, black goes with everything. Considering adding navy to go better with jeans/gray pants.

Super cute; I've gotten a ton of compliments on them. I did remove the insoles and put in arch support insoles, but I have planter fasciitis so I need arch support.

I have very wide feet and have a bunion on my one foot. I have a horrible time finding shoes that are wide enough. But, the wide in these shoes fits great. These have been the BEST short boots to wear with leggings. They are stylish and SUPER comfortable. I have worn them every day. I agree with others that there is no break in time. I think they are very well made, not sure about the person who said the rubber sole detached? Mine has been fine. I would definately buy them again.

After a failed order of a another brand's similar design (too large) this was just right. Also a quality boot - the leather upper gives it a supple and better built feel. Therein some cushioning and the styling of the leather makes it look snappy. I saw that this brand was developed by New Balance and I knew they would have adequate support - and they do!

Perfect fit, right of the box--no breaking in. Great comfort--looks like a butter-soft bootie, feels like a supportive running shoe. Love these!

Tried these boots previously in a 7 medium width, navy, just to narrow for my duck feet. Gave them another try in a 7 wide, navy and they are a winner. The first pair were a bright navy, the second pair are a softer navy, which I like better because they blend with other blues better. The leather is soft, sole is contoured to be very walkable in any weather conditions.

Great boot. High enough to cover sock top and pants hem, soft and comfy, and good looking. Style without flash.

I've been wearing CK Style U1183 for many years but sadly, CK apparently stopped manufacturing that style about 2 years ago. I had tried several other brands/styles but found the leg openings were either too large, the elastic wouldn't last more than a few washings, or they were just plain uncomfortable. My old U1183's were about to "blow away like dandelion spores" (Seinfeld reference) so I decided to give this CK U4183 style a try. I came across it after trying yet again to find the U1183 style. These are very similar to the old U1183. They are extremely soft and comfortable and the fit is great. If after several washings my experience changes (I don't expect that) I will update this review. Of course and as always, the ordering and shipping on Zappos was great! I know it is for their shoes but when I came across Zappos selling this product, I felt good about buying them from Zappos, mainly due to their GREAT customer service.
