I tried several pair of boots before finding this one. Wore it 14 hours first day out of the box. Extremely comfortable.

The moment I slipped into these stylish boots I knew they were a keeper. Buttery soft, true to size with all day comfort and support.

Although Zappos is my preferred online footwear retailer, I purchased these directly from the manufacturer, but only because I had a credit voucher to use. That being said, I'm spoiled by Zappos top-notch, lightening speed service. What should have taken 1-3 days to arrive took over a week. But on the bright side, the shoes/booties are AMAZING! I was concerned they might look like shoes for the elderly, but I'm happy to report that the fashionable & timeless styling can work for just about any age-range while appearing neither too "old" nor too "young". They're super cute, extremely comfortable and feel like a pair of old favs right out of the box. The merlot color is even better than depicted online. Will await a price reduction or past-season sale and purchase another pair in a different color. A note about sizing: In my experience, Cobb Hill consistently runs a bit longer. I normally wear size 9 in most other brands but require size 8.5 in Cobb Hill. Nevertheless, Kudos Cobb Hill!

I read all the shoe reviews before I order hoping to to avoid returns. I wear size 9N shoes. I have low instep an narrow heels. I have now returned four pairs of boots to Zappos. These shoes have also gone back. I ordered then first in 9N that was too snug. A little too short and a little too tight with socks on. I ordered a bigger size and the whole shoe fell off my foot. I have always worn 9N but have found very few that fit these days. David Tate fit but the next pair I ordered returned to small, Stuart Wietzman, Cole Haan, all boots returned, too big. I go to reorder sizes are sold out. I like quality shoes because I am able to buy so few that fit. I am still searching for a boot that fits with socks. These shoes are fun shoes I wish they fit me.

Love these boots. I just got them and put them on and took the dog for a walk. No breaking in. They are so comfortable. The almond color is a little bit lighter than I expected, but not bad.

So much cuter in person than on the web. I usually wear a 6.5 EE, so I ordered a 7D thinking it would fit better. Unfortunately, the shoes were too long and I needed to return for the 6.5 -- and Zappos is out of stock. Anyway, these are wider than the typical D width which makes me happy. Can't wait until Zappos gets more!

These boots are wonderful. They look good and they felt great right out of the box. They have a lot of cushioning, so that I can walk around city sidewalks and my legs won't hurt the next day.

These are the first Cobb Hill shoes I've purchased and I'm very pleased with the fit and comfort. The rounded toe-box supplies the added space I need to accommodate my hammertoes and the arch support is adequate for my flat feet. I will definitely check out this brand again the next time I'm in the market for some new shoes.

These are comfortable from the first day- no break in period. Ordered my usual size and fit was perfect. The foot-bed is comfy, but can be removed for my custom orthotic.

I wanted lightweight booties to wear when I travel north in the wintertime. These fit the bill. They are nice and roomy and comfortable. They are well made and easy to put on with the side zipper.

I rarely take time to write reviews, but I am so pleased with these that I must tell others. These would be the only shoes/boots I would wear if I could afford every color. They are lightweight, seriously comfortable, and keep the wet out. I just purchased another pair from the same brand but different style, and they so far live up to my expectations of being fantastic.

Love these boots! They're very comfy straight out of the box. There is room enough to put my inserts for my heels, too which is so important to me. Nice wide width and soft comfortable leather. I look forward to wearing them all fall and into winter!

Oh my gosh! I love these boots! I took them out of the box and put them on and wore them with no breaking in. They are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. The leather is soft and the look is very stylish.

These boots fit over my high instep and provide great arch support even without my orthotics. They are very cushiony while still being stylish. Love the merlot color.

I've only worn these boots once as it's not winter yet, but they were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The narrow width fits my long, flat feet with medium socks, and unlike many other boots, they are not too wide in the heel. I wear either a 9 1/2 or 10 N and the 9 1/2 fit perfectly in this style. Good casual boot with jeans and corduroys.

I love these boots. They are stylish and extremely comfortable. I have planter fasciitis and my feet always hurt. I constantly wear sneakers but these boots allow me to look nice and be comfortable. I am going to buy a second pair for sure!

JUNK. I wore them for one day and they sides started to split. That's what I'd call cheap shoes.

These shoes were comfortable from day ONE. I'm 45... not 15.. and I look for style and comfort right off the bat! I also believe in paying for those two things, as well. I'm a little tired of the ever-so-popular rounded toe these days.. but maybe that's just me. I'd like more of a fitted foot and blunt toe.. or more pointed toe..? But.. I'm going with what's in my size (12-12.5), heel height, durability, versatility and yes.. also looking at reviews from others. I tried the Earth Watson next to these and the Earth's pretty much looked like in the picture, only. They didn't fit anywhere - too large across the top off the foot and the toe bed. That's why... when I tried on the Rockports.. I knew that I'd found something special!

I like these boots. They're flexible and light. I wasn't sure if I wanted medium or wide, and am glad I ordered wide because they seem to be on the narrow side of wide. The heel area is snug, but probably a good fit. Haven't worn them outside yet, so I don't know how they'll feel after a few hours of wear.

I love the look and feel of these shoes except the size, which is why I marked down a star. My foot is towards the narrow end but these were very wide on me and even seemed a little long, which never happens for me with women's shoes. Hoping a narrow pair comes back in stock.

Very cute, but the wide is not a true wide. The arch support also hit me in a strange place and felt like it would rub if I'd worn them longer.

Too narrow for a ‘wide’

I loved how this shoe looked, and it seemed exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the sole was just too thin and I felt like I was walking directly on cement. The insole is removable, but I found that even my orthotics that I use in other shoes weren't enough. I tried a different kind of orthotic, and that didn't work either. The shoe only became comfortable, sole-wise, when I left the original insole in and put my orthotic on top--but then that raised my foot just enough to make the rest of it too snug. Oh well.

The boots are very comfortable. I tend to have narrow feet but wide around the toes. I got a narrow but the but still feel too loose. I put in some arch support speakers I didn't think that that was very much in support in the puts themselves. I wore heavy socks with them. With the arch supports and the heavier socks, they feel very good. The style is outstanding.
