Out of the box these are unbelievably super comfortable pumps! I am very comfortable in heels but I have thin, bony feet that make it hard to find shoes that won't slip off. These are perfect! They are snug without binding and do not slip anywhere. Also, the padding and ½" platform make it so you do not feel every little pebble and crack in the pavement if you are walking outside. Also the fabric lining is soft against bare feet. As for sizing, I paid attention to the other reviews and ordered half a size down and a whole size down to try - the full size down were the ones that worked. I normally wear a 7½M and the 6½M were the ones that fit. The shoes have a nice clean line, and while they may not be the sexiest stilettos I own, they are classic and they are great for work and after-work events when you do not want to think about your feet or have to carry a pair of flip-flops "just in case." I was a professional dancer for 20 years and after beating my feet up for so long, finding shoes that I can walk in for any length of time is difficult. These feel so great I am getting them in the other two colors. I would be thrilled if Rockport would put out patent leather versions too!

My new favorite shoes! The my are platform without looking like they are and the cushion is amazing! I'm a true 5 1/2. I order that the first time and I got a marked 5 1/2 that felt like a 6 or 61/2. I ordered a 5 and it was way too tight. I liked the shoes so much that I tried one more time with a 51/2 just to make sure that the first was the true fit for the size. So happy I did, second 5 1/2 was the perfect fit.

I love these pumps! I always have a difficult time finding pumps that are comfortable because of my bunions. These are perfect. I ordered these in a wide and they gave me plenty of room in the toe box. They do run quite large though. I usually wear a 6 1/2 - 7. The 6 1/2 was still too big, the 6 fits perfectly.

These shoes are lovely. They are made of nice leather, and the inside is very cushioned. I tried a 6½ and they were too small. I reordered a 7 and my heel slipped out of the shoe while walking. Sadly, Rockport shoes are not right for my feet. I wish they made a 6¾ size! Good luck with these shoes. If you get it to fit you will not be disappointed.

I haven't worn high heels in about a decade, but these are surprisingly comfortable and I don't feel too ungainly. I purchased them for a spur-of-the moment trip, so I also purchased the same shoe in the "low" style. Oddly, these were more comfortable than the lower heel pumps. They had some scuffs, and clearly had been at least tried on previously, but I didn't have time to exchange them and was able to clean the black scuff marks off. Still very pleased with them. And Zappos. Easy peasy ordering and returns.

Love the look of these. They also fit well. I started to order a 1/2 size bigger as I wanted extra space for my toes, but they felt over 1 size bigger. I could stick my finger in the space between the back of my heal and the shoe. My toes do not feel squished in my normal size. I am happy with these heels.

One of the most comfortable high heels for wide feet -- Normally wear a 7.5 but based on reviews ordered a 7 Wide and they are a little loose in the heel but fit perfectly with a silicone heel pad.

OH MY GOD. These are like Cinderella's slippers. I think I ordered every wide width pump with a 3"+ heel on Zappos and every one was too narrow, too long, too flimsy, too painful. I was considering bunion surgery until I tried this one on. It feels like wearing slippers!! It's a true wide width with lovely squishy padding in the places you actually need it, under the ball of the foot. Just note: It runs half a size big. I'm very consistently a 9 in sneakers and an 8.5 in heels and I need an 8 in this shoe.

I have large feet and severe bunions on both--but I love my high heels. And it's hard to find non-frumpy pumps that are wide enough and also good quality. I am SO impressed with these shoes. The quality of construction is very good, and the lining is soft and smooth. No chafing on the heels (even without stockings). Plus, I think they look very stylish (for a more conservative type of dress shoe). I am a 10 1/2 W but I ordered the 10 W, and they fit me perfectly. I like them so much I'm considering ordering another pair.

I ordered this show in both black & tan. Its promise of cushioning, beautiful leather & construction did not disappoint; however, the tan pump arrived feeling half a size smaller than the black shoe. (And both arrived in the size 10.5 that I ordered.) Zappos made things right immediately by sending me the size 11 in tan, 2 days later. The 11 in tan fit exactly like the size 10.5 in black, minus the need for a bit of padding in the heel. I will keep the size 11 & hope the leather doesn't stretch. Aesthetically, these shoes are simply stunning. I am 5'9" and feel confident in these shoes. The platform allows for true comfort with this shoe and the padding will be put to the test, when I wear these in a professional setting, and when I am dressed up and "momming" the munchkins. When wearing the correct size, I did not find my toes were at all pinched...but I usually go up 1/2 size with a heel, to allow for some literal wiggle room. This is a stunning shoe & I only hope it keeps my feet as happy, while worn. ;)

Absolutely LOVE these shoes -- they are incredibly comfortable and look great! The fit feels a bit generous, but perhaps that's just because they feel so good.

These pumps are wonderful! I was a bit skeptical about Rockport pumps - but I am so glad that I bought them. They are really comfortable. While I usually do not spend this much on a pair of shoes - they are absolutely worth it! The heel height is just right - a great addition to my closet. I would definitely recommend them. I have fairly wide feet and the medium width was a very comfortable fit. I am so pleased that I plan to order another pair soon.

Fantastic shoe! Super comfortable, classic elegance with a hint of sexy. Padded inside with a grippy bottom. Could walk for days in these!

The fit was great, the support and comfort was incredible but the front was too short looking (toe cleavage) for me, so I did return.

Love these shoes. Needed a pump that I can dance in. These were the only ones that didn't kill my feet and the leather is really beautifu. My feet are wide at the toe and very narrow at the heel, hard to fit in pumps. I'm only concerned about maintaining the leather covered heel.

Super comfortable and look great in formal and business casual attire. Also, came in wide sizes, which meant I was a half size smaller than I normally am.

I have bought these shoes in every available color because they're the only heels I can wear for 10+ hours and not be in any pain, and they look good with everything. I've had to do a light sprint in them and was just fine I even caught my bus. Don't hesitate on this one.

I'd never bought a Rockport shoe before and was impressed. Extremely comfortable for the height of the heel and I enjoy the classic, almost retro look. The hidden platform under the toe helps with comfort. I've found this to be a versatile shoe - good for work as well as nighttime events. Extremely satisfied with this purchase. As others have noted, this shoe runs somewhat narrow, which was a good thing for me, but is something to be aware of.

I'm usually 7, especially 7 wide for classic high pumps, and my feet are a bit wide. I bought 6 wide and fit perfectly. It's very comfortable and elegant. Once you find the right size, Rockport never disappoint you.

I love this shoe. I could wear it out of the box all day with no pain. It does stretch a little after you wear them a few times, but not to the point you cannot wear it.

Love these shoes! Great comfort and style for an amazing price. These did feel a little loser than other Rockport pumps that I own. Not enough to go down a size, though.

Theses shoes look great with everything! I like them so much, I have just purchased them in another color. I am a tomboy, and these shoes are even comfortable to me!

Runs 1/3 size big--for me, the heel slips in 9 1/2, but the 9 was too tight. I didn't have any toe cleavage. The lower 7-to-7 pump also ran big. I kept them anyway, and wore them to an all day event. They were comfortable, especially for the height, although by the end of the night I was ready to take them off, and the slipping was worse. I will take them to the shoe repair for a heel or insole pad. I bought the matte taupe as a 'nude' neutral, and they worked well. Cute shoe. Leather upper, made overseas.
