Buy 1 size larger than your short for a tight fit, or 2 sizes larger for a comfortable fit. This runs small.

This seems like a pretty solid rash guard. I like that it has a little loop to hook onto my board shorts so it doesn't ride up when I'm surfing. Just an FYI on size, it runs small like a lot of rash guards. I'm 5'10", 185 pounds with a 44 inch chest and the XL is almost too small for me. If I get another one, I'll probably go with the XXL.

Very small fitting. You should probably order up two sizes versus some comparable brands to get the right fit.
