Great looking, lightweight shoe. I got these for my son who needs a wider shoe, and they have been comfortable. He is hard to fit, so I'm appreciative.

These are nice enough shoes that are very comfortable but they wear out extremely quickly. I bought them in late April and the soles have worn down and contain holes by September. I would not recommend Clarks at all as this is the third pair of different Clarks that I have had with the soles falling apart. Do not buy.

I have two pairs of these shoes, brown and black. I bought the second pair because the first pair were so comfortable. I can wear these all day at work and they do not hurt my feet at all. They are lightweight, comfortable and will last. Worth every single dollar.

Ordered these, came the next day. But I usually wear a 12 ee, after reading the reviews I ordered an 11.5 ee. These were way too big. Sent them back and ordered 11 m. Came the next day. Just got them and they fit great, so these do run bait big. In fact I would say they run a full size too big. Great looking shoe and the comfort is good.

I'm 6 foot four inches and 270
pounds and these shoes give good support to my size 14 feet. I have heel and toe spurs along with fasciitis so my feet never feel great but these Clarks are the most comfortable shoes I've had in a while.

I've had these shoes for about a year now. I have severe foot issues, including plantar fasciitis, and general pain from wearing any kind of shoe in general. After trying 6 different pairs of shoes and returning all of them (thank you Zappos!), I finally settled on these, and they've been very comfortable with my custom orthotic. They look great with casual or business casual dress, and my feet don't mind staying in them all day. I will agree with some of the reviews, that they will wear quickly. The soles are pretty worn, and probably only have another 4 months on them. The top and sides seem to be aging quickly too. I've polished them once, and that helped, but it doesn't take long for them to get a bit tattered looking. All that said, I'm very happy with them, for the cost.

Bought shoes for 11 year old with wide feet. They fit him well and while they are not the most attractive shoe, they are comfortable.

Walk 4-5 miles all day on rubber floors and on icy surface. These shoes hold up to the heavy wear and tear. Great comfort and durable.

Good construction, heavy leather, nice style. Width seemed okay yet shoe was at least one full size too long, just like 2 other Clark oxfords that we ordered (size 12 wide).

Not bad but not a tremendous value given their overall quality. After seeing so much "quality fade" from other brands, I was pleasantly surprised that these were at least as "good" as the pair of Clarks I bought in 2007. That old pair looked like shiny plastic out of the box (but aged well); this new pair is textured and understated, which is exactly what I was looking for in this kind of casual shoe.
In short: I'm not wildly in love with them right out of the box but will keep them because they are better than others I've tried in this category.

These shoes are extremely lightweight and comfortable. They however are a bit on the big side. I had 2 other pairs of Clarks before this one and they were both 12D M. I ordered the same size but this one however felt like a 13 or even 13.5. I would recommend buying a full inch smaller than the usual size, 11 in my case.

I thought the leather was decent quality, but the construction of this shoe is very disappointing. Ever since Clarks started making their shoes where they make them now, quality has suffered. Also hard to adjust the laces to keep them tight.
Returning these, and probably won't buy Clarks again.

Critique isn't on the shoes. I can't buy what I can't see. I can't see them, have you cut your budget for photography because the black shoes are rendered pretty badly lately. I'm using a calibrated monitor, I'm in the field. I don't recall you photographs looking this bad in the past.

The last pair of Clarks I bought lasted me 3 years. This pair, worn under the exact same conditions, lasted, depending on how your measure, between 3 and 10 months. By the 3rd month, I didn't dare wear them if the ground was remotely damp, because the tread wore away so quickly and completely that walking on anything smoother than sidewalk concrete has become like stepping out onto wet glass. And now, 10 months later, the sole around the ball of my foot has worn through. This was under normal use. I found this to be a disappointing waste.
