Of the four pairs of Asics I've worn, these are by far the only uncomfortable pair. They are light, keep my feet cool, and they look nice. But for me, they are not good at all for walking/light hiking. The heel feels very weak and provides little support and cushioning. I usually wear them casually on weekends, and they're okay for running errands. But then I went on a long walk, and my legs were very fatigued after just a two blocks. I thought they just needed some breaking in, even though my other Asics didn't need that. But no, they are still not comfortable. I walk a lot, am in good shape, 5-10 and 165 lbs. I'm not sure why these Asics are so different from they're other running/walking/hiking shoes, but I will not purchase any more of their Scrams.

This shoe is not durable. The bottom of the sole started to detach from the shoe within only eight weeks of normal wear. I would return if I could.
