I scoped these out on Zappos and ended up purchasing them (for a few dollars more) at a local retailer. They are extremely comfortable, sharp-looking shoes. The bulkier look of some Dansko shoes will not work with my wardrobe, but these shoes are slimming and cute flats with the same amazing fit and arch support as the cloggy Danskos. The color selections for these are a little old-ladyish in my opinion, and for that reason I decided to just go with the simple black nappa. But after trying many types of similar shoes that just weren't as comfortable, I fell in love with the fit of these shoes and didn't mind the plain color and paying a little more than my usual $100 limit for shoes. So after spending this much, I was really shocked when, after two months of regular city wear (I didn't take them hiking or play baseball in them or anything) the exterior layer of the shoe started peeling off like a bad sunburn, on both toes and on the sides, revealing a dull/dirty greyish material below. I have come to expect and even appreciate the natural creasing that happens with leather shoes, but this was something completely different. The surface of the shoe was basically shredding off, and it looked really dreadful. I had to stop wearing them, and I returned them to the mom-n-pop shop where I purchased them. They were horrified and sent them back to Dansko. I usually shop on Zappos, and they're great about returns, but I'm not sure how many months you have. If you purchase these shoes online I recommend being very wary about the return policy, because in my experience the material is defective and will not stand up to anything other than indoor, slipper-like use.

Extremely uncomfortable. Not enough cushion in bottom of shoe and very narrow in toe box area. I am highly disappointed in these Dansko shoes. I will stick with the professional line.

I was so disappointed these didn't fit because they are so stylish and I needed a flat! Since this is the first year for a flat like this, I'm really hoping for an improvement. I usually wear a 39 perfectly and this 39 was way too big for me even with thick socks.

Loved the trendy look and animal print of the shoe but the heel of the shoe sits like normal heels and not the usual Dansko heel. I have a problem heel and need either a clog style or the Dansko professional style. Very disappointing. Ask them to make same shoe with typical Dansko heels.

I "outgrew" most standard size 12 shoes about 10 years ago. 12 1/2's are not made by many manufacturers, so the intervening years have me buying 12's that run a bit large or 13's that run small or cannot be stepped out of. I got the size 43 in these shoes which is supposed to be size 12 /12 - 13. Perfect. Or so I thought. The bronze snakeskin pattern of the material is really fabulous. However, when I tried them on, they felt more like an 11 1/2 or a smallish 12. Way too tight/short. Back they go!

I so wanted to love this shoe but the fit was different from my other Danskos. It was too narrow yet slipped in the heel. Danskos are the only thing I can wear now due to a bad bunion and the style was a nice change from the clunky but comfortable clogs. Pity they did not work for me but I hope they work for you!
