This shoe received such good reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, it just wasn't right for me. The fit around the toes didn't feel comfortable, as if the shoe wasn't deep enough. It felt as if the tops of my toes were rubbing against the leather. I ordered the wide width, and it still felt too narrow. The final straw was when my husband asked me why I had purchased a pair of wooden shoes. I think he was trying to be funny, but that did it for me. I returned them.

I LOVE this shoe. The Tamara is the first closed Dansko shoe I've tried, I started with the gray suede. I had no stiffness issues at all, it is very comfortable. It does stretch a little so the type of sock worn with it may need to adjust.

I liked these shoes. They are more stylish than some of their other shoes but still very comfortable. I needed some new Dansko shoes but I did want something prettier than my last pair. I definitely recommend.

This is my first pair of Dansko shoes, and I really love them. I have to wear thick socks with them, because otherwise they slip too much to be comfortable. I like the style better than the traditional clogs from Dansko. They are substantial shoes, and provide a lot of support. They are not light and airy, but I find that this makes for a much better experience when walking long distances in addition to being on my feet and relatively stationary. These shoes did have an issue with the leather on the toes wearing off. I noticed it when they were about 1 1/2 years old which is not bad considering that I wear them a few days each week. I have just ordered a pair of Tenleys which look very similar.

This is a great shoe for those with a high instep.

These are my favorite work shoes. I am a hairdresser and I have no foot pain at the end of the day. Love the style and feel. Will definitely be buying again.

I bought these before going on a trip to NYC. Lots of walking on the hard pavement. They looked new when coming home and my feet were never sore! I like that they have the comfort of clogs without the look.

I bought these for travel , looking for a shoes that would be stylish, and easy to slip on and off. I have wide feet and a bunion on my right foot. The cross strap allows for adjustment and the left is perfectly comfortable. The right will need some more stretching to to completely comfortable

Love these so much I literally own 4 pairs - my biggest recent disappointment is that Dansko apparently stopped making anything except the black variety in my size (Boo!) They are definitely a narrow fit and stretch less across the arch with use than the Dansko Professionals do (likely in part because of the extra strap there) which for someone with narrow feet and high arches like me is perfect. I find they have much more arch support than some of the other Danskos - notably the Jessica (more of a straight dress shoe), Tenley (much flatter, less narrow).

I wore this shoe out. Or more to the point, I wore out the footbed--everything else is still in great shape, and thanks to a great shoeshine in an airport, they look NEW after 3 years. I'll probably get the footbed replaced. I'm on my feet for 8 hours straight at work, walk through a lot of airports, and generally rely on my shoes to be comfortable and sufficiently stylish to wear with pantsuits. These work.

As a regular Dansko fan, I love when they come out with styles that deviate from the traditional clog! While I love traditional Danskos, it's nice to find a more stylish model, like the Tamara. My only concern is that they only come in black, which I have. I would love to have them in brown! I have morton's neuroma on one foot and wide feet overall, which limits the shoes I can buy. Dansko gives me all day comfort, and Tamara gets style points too!!

These are great shoes! I fractured my foot a little over a year ago, and still struggle to find shoes other than running sneakers that I can wear for extended periods of time. I work in a lab, and spend a lot of time on my feet, and these shoes are great for what I need. They provide a lot of arch support and are less bulky looking than the other Dansko clogs. It did take a little getting used to the fact that my heel is supposed to lift up with each step. Two other notes: they are a little tighter than most shoes (I can't fit my thick socks in them) but with thinner or dress socks it hasn't been an issue, and I find them much more comfortable on tile/carpet/linoleum flooring (they aren't great for walking long distances over concrete).

Although I loved the style of these shoes, they ran too narrow. Typically I haven't had a problem with any Dansko fitting perfectly but these did not. I chose a difference Dansko style.

I have these Tamara clogs in black and brown and wear one of them with tights every day to school when I teach. They provide excellent arch support. I just wish they came in navy blue.

They're not as comfortable as the clogs and not as clunky either, wears like a shoe and looks like a shoe. I wear size 9 M and got them in size 40 in dark brown (chocolate burnished). The leather is of top quality and the color is beautiful. The fit is a bit tight at the toes but does not cause a serious discomfort. I am happy with my purchase but can't wait to get another pair of Dansko clogs, especially the new styles and colors they come in.

Huh. Typically I am a 41 in Dansko, but in this particular style, the Tamara, I had to go with a 42. Overall same great Dansko quality, the Wine nubuck leather is beautiful (a deep berry maroon), but the toe box is more fitted in this style. Going to a 42 also means that the heel is a tad loose- and I may have to eventually add one of those interior heel grip sticker things as they stretch out- but so far I can comfortably walk around in them without losing a shoe or my footing. Along with the color, what I like best about this style is that it doesn’t look like a clog, but it still has all of the great Dansko clog benefits. Good luck on finding your fit.

Sooooooo small! i ordered up and still it was Cinderella's sisters. UGH! It was extra frustrating because this size has worked in the past for Dansko. I dont know if these shoes were comfortable or had good arch support because they literally would not go on my feet. They felt at least 2 sizes too small. cute tho.

I. Love. These. Shoes! So comfortable, walked all day in DC. And I get tons of compliments on them. Went with the grey - so pretty!

I LOVE this shoe! It is my first "closed" Dansko purchase, I have several pairs of the Sophie sandal. It is slightly wide at the heel, but I've observed most Danskos fit that way, the slipping doesn't rub blisters. I wear them with trouser socks (thicker than knee high panty hose/thinner than thin socks) and they are extremely comfortable.

I love the Tamara! I bought the brown color back in early 2016, and bought the black color this fall because these shoes are so wonderful. My first pair has had tons of wear and they still look great. Both colors have good arch support, but they don't look clunky like some shoes do. I had surgery 6 years ago for plantar fasciitis and I have to be super careful with shoes and these are my favorites of all of my shoes. I have worn these for days when I have to be on my feet all day with no issues.

I love Dansko shoes! Bought my usual size 39 in this style, and they were very snug the first time I wore them. After a few more times, they loosened up. As always, Zappos delivers the best service!

This shoe is similar to another Dansko shoe I bought which fit slightly loose but this one of the same size is snug. Love the quality and style.

Love these. I've worn Dansko for many, many years and am used to the feel of Professionals. These were a bit tighter fitting than those, which I wanted for a shoe I can wear with skirts and leggings. I suggest ordering more than one size and even more than one pair of the same size as there can be variations between individual shoes and finding the perfect fit may require experimentation. I found mine and love them!
