Really like these shoes! They look good with scrubs or dress pants, and are comfortable. They felt a little tight when I'd first gotten them(I have a wide foot) but have gotten better after wearing them a few times.

Just received my Danskos a few minutes ago and I am bummed. I have always taken a size 39, no exceptions, with Dansko. They are too big and are slipping off my heels. I tried them with a medium thick sock and they still slid. So I added one of those heel pads and they STILL slipped. I had ordered them in ordovan and the regular brown to see which color I preferred. I like the crodovan ones, more versatile (can be worn with black). So, I'm going to return both pair of size 39s and order the cordovan color in size 38. I am fairly sure they will be too small, but one can hope, right. BTW, I did not find them narrow, as many reviewers did.

I have owned these shoes for two days, and I wore them to work ten hours each day and my feet don't hurt! I have suffered from heel spurs and I have high arches and pretty much suffer all day, no matter what shoes I buy. These are my second pair of Dansko's. I have worn Orthaheel shoes in the past, but since wearing Dansko's, the quality of the shoe is definitely better, and they last longer. These felt narrow when I put them on, but after wearing them, they softened up just enough to feel perfect. I normally wear size 9 or 9 1/2, and I ordered the 40 and they were the perfect size. I just may be ordering another color of this style because it is actually cute and comfortable...a combination that is hard to find!

I have owned several pairs of Dansko, and 37 is my usual size. This shoe felt tight all around. There was no cushioning around the front top of the shoe or back like there is on other pairs that I have worn. It was a nice looking shoe, but I had to return it because of fit.

I really wanted these shoes to work because I like the styling a lot. But they felt too stiff and were not as comfortable as a Dansko shoe should be. So I returned them for the Tenley.

I have many Danskos. These were an entirely different fit. Had to order up a full size. The bigger size still did not fit as well as regular Danskos. The instep is low. I did keep them, but should have sent them back. They don't fit well if you have a high instep and arch.

Not very fashion forward but they do in a pinch when my plantar fasciitis is flaring up.

Much smaller than normal. I wear an 8.5 and could not even get my toes all the way into this shoe. So small that I wondered if I received the wrong size. Too bad because they are SUPER cute!

I have bunions and so Dansko professionals are amazing. I've been wearing them over 15 years. I just got the Tamara because it looked more professional... I'm wearing them but I'm not sure - I don't like how the heel slips up as I walk. Feels like I might walk out of the shoe. I'm going to see if this stops bothering me as I wear them a few days in a row. My feet easily get tired and sore if I'm not wearing Professionals, or sneakers/flip flops. These Tamara might not work out.

I don't care for these so much. I had purchased a pair of Dansko oxfords and love them but not crazy about the clog thing. I'm wearing them but not loving them. The color is nice though. A rich chocolate brown.

Other Dansko styles have been more comfortable. There is not enough cushioning for foot bed, consequently it feels like I've been standing/walking on concrete. Also, these look TOO much like clogs.

I really wanted these shoes to work. Great color purple suede, height without heels. In short everything I want in an everyday shoe plus comfort. Unfortunately my heels came out of the shoe with each step. Thanks you Zappos for the great service.

Loved the shoe. Stylish, looks great with jeans, but just a tad bit too narrow. The shoe fit in terms of length (39). Sorry to have to send them back!

I have purchased 5 Dansko styles ( I am a nurse). After a 12 hour shift, I barely notice my feet. But these were so narrow I could not even get my foot in them. Not sure what that's about. Had to send them back.

I really liked the style and color, but I can't get my foot into them! I was hoping the two areas of elastic at the top and side would have enough give for them to work for me. If you have a narrower foot or a lower arch, they might work for you.

These are a little tight in the toe, but a whole size up would be way too big (I got size 9-10). I think once I break them in and they get a little softer they'll be a little better, the leather is really hard at the toe. Also, I have a fairly narrow foot and these fit my foot perfectly as far as width is concerned.

I have wanted a pair of Danskos for years but could never get past the discomfort of the band that runs across the top of your foot. So I was thrilled when I came across the Tamara design, which allows the shoe to stretch across the top of the foot as you walk. The first pair I ordered from Zappos was mis-sized but they were great and promptly sent me a replacement pair. However, on my second day wearing them out someone stepped on my foot and that shoe no longer fits correctly. I am extremely disappointed that such a small amount of pressure could compromise the integrity of the shoe, especially considering the expense. I can no longer wear them as that shoe now slips off with every step.

I have been looking high and low for a more office-friendly alternatives to the traditional clogs. I thought these might be it, but no. They were so tight across the top (even with the elastic which had me so hopeful), that they were painful. Returning them.

Ay, Ay, Ay! Do not be fooled by the buckle. The video gives the impression that it stretches because the buckle opens but it is only decorative. These are going back. Too tight! So far there is no cute one in the website.

I bought these to replace an older style of Danskos which is no longer made - which I just loved. These are much different in fit. The toe box is a lot narrower and really did not work for me. I will be returning these. Wish they still had the old fit!

I'm always on the lookout for comfortable yet stylish shoes. As a teacher, I spend a lot of time walking and standing on concrete floors. Dansko is my go-to brand. I love the styling and sole of this shoe. However, it felt too tight across the top of my foot. I wore them for an hour around the house hoping to loosen them up a bit, but that did nothing to relieve the tightness. I can't justify spending this much on shoes that I can only wear for an hour at a time. Zappos, they're coming back to you!

I had the Tamaras in the previous version with the button and really liked the sleeker look of them in comparison to the professionals, although they do require a period of breaking in that the professionals do not. After over 5 years of comfortable full day wear at least 60% of the week, they were finally looking a little worn and I bought these to replace them. Same fit and style, but Dansko must have changed the finish/treatment of the leather because this version SMELLS! I have worn Danskos daily for work on my feet for the last 10 years (I won't wear anything else for comfort's sake) and have NEVER had this problem, but now I am skittish about purchasing another pair. I thought the smell would wear off, but after several months it is still so strong that I can smell it when I am standing up. I hope that this is not a new trend, I love my Danskos so much and am not sure what I am going to do if I have to figure out another shoe, but the stink is unbearable, which is a shame since they are so pricey and now I can't return them. Worth the money if they weren't so smelly.
