I bought this bag just over 2 years ago in sunflower vintage leather. I loved everything about the bag at the time. The shape and style have a lot of great features, such as: -- exterior slip pockets for cell phones and other items -- wide mouth at top so everything is easy to find inside -- side slip pockets and zip pockets inside for organization -- cute patterned lining inside -- great color. However, I am looking for a new purse now, and I will not be purchasing another Hobo bag, despite many years of loving their styles. For the price, they should last for years. Yet they do not hold up to normal daily use. The thin, flat straps on my Patti bag have disintegrated: the stitching has unraveled, the leather has cracked, and the color has worn off. This all happened within the first year of use, even though I only carried it on nights and weekends. Straps are the weakness of most Hobo designs, and this one is no exception. Everything else about this bag is 5 stars all the way, but I will not be buying another Hobo bag to replace it until the company has items with sturdier strap designs. My Patti is headed for the local "purse surgeon" as we speak. He has had to fix the straps on many of my Hobo bags, but this is the first one he may not be able to repair, because of the unique color and the style of the straps. This does not feel like good value for money.

I purchased this bag after the Frye I had bought had to be returned. Shortly after I received the bag (within 2 weeks), the strap was coming unsewn. This bag is too expensive for the stitching to unravel on the strap with hardly any use! I have returned the bag & am shopping for a new one.

the leather quality is very poor for the price. I believe the handbag I received was returned. The bottom had worn spots, and I found a dental floss pick inside the bag. I am returning it. Very disappointed, I love the color.

I loved this bag at first. It was lightweight, the cloud color went with a lot of things and the pockets on the outside were great for keys and my phone. But after less than four months of normal use -- not every day -- the leather trim on the straps has started to unravel as has the leather on the bottom edges of the purse. Something this expensive should last longer.

Love the bag, but the straps nearly disintegrated after a couple months use. Disappointing...considering I'm a big fan of Hobo Bags.
