If you are looking for serious hiking shoes that are waterproof, I'd say keep looking. I bought these for hiking in Scotland, and they were not up to the task. I was attracted by how lightweight they are, but I probably should have known better. They offer poor arch and ankle support and they are not waterproof. For casual walking they might be fine, but by day 2 of my hike, high on a watery and pitted hillside, I was regretting my choice. I chose them because I have hard to fit wide feet and they generally fit OK, they needed to be stretched first. Also I liked the weight and trusted they were waterproof. (It's hard to test that feature on shoes you might return!)I'll be demoting them to short strolls or gardening; they are not bad looking.

Although these shoes are super comfortable right out of the box, they don't last! I had mine 3 months before they blew out. I hiked in them twice and the rest of the time, it was just normal "around work" walking. I think for the cost, they should last a bit longer than 3 months.

I've been looking for a good water-resistant shoe for some hiking adventures coming up this fall, and I loved the colors and style of this one! I own several pairs of Keens - they're my favorite brand. But as sometimes happens with Keens, these ran small and pinched my toes. I take an 11 and they don't come any higher in size. So disappointed!

Keens are just so clunky. I want to love them for my outdoor adventure chick lifestyle. These run very wide and look huge. Length is true to size. I am normally an 8.5 -9. These are a 9. The 8.5 were a bit short but I could have fit into them.

Well very disappointing....bought the first pair of 8's and normally Keen is GREAT. However these just run smaller than I expected. It felt as if I had too thick of socks on. Nope not gonna work so I went for the 8.5. Nope still not gonna work. So until they go wider in this shoe I'm out. Otherwise I love My Keen's. Will Try another I guess.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!!!! Filled with sand after a few miles walking on the beach between the WPB and the outer layers. The sand was literally stuck in the shoe with no way to remove it except cutting the WPB to empty them. After submitting a warranty claim with Keen it was denied because they didnt feel that "sand getting between the layers of the shoe was a defect since it wasnt a beach shoe." Am I missing something?? If sand gets between the layers won't dirt just get in there too and build up until the shoe has lumps in it that create hot spots?? NOT IMPRESSED with Keen product quality or warranty!!!!!!!! Zappos, on the other hand, has always taken care of me and is willing to make things right. A+ for Zappos.com

I was hesitant to order these shoes because of some unfavorable things I read in the reviews: shoe runs small, no arch support, no cushion, etc. I tried on some Merrells and Salomans at a local store, and they were ridiculously narrow. When I tried on these Keens, I loved them! They were way more comfortable than the other two brands. I ordered the same size I do for my running shoes, and they fit perfectly. Maybe I just know that athletic shoes need to run 1/2 size larger than other shoes, so I feel like it runs true to size. I did not feel a lack of arch support, and I have totally flat feet. If you want more arch support, you can put in inserts. My custom orthotics fit great. In term of the cushion, it felt fine. I have not taken them out on rough terrain yet, but I know hiking shoes are not supposed to feel like you're walking on a cloud. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, and my feet are not easy to please.
