I bought these for my mom who is in her 70s and has MS. And she loves them! The thing with MS is that it makes your feet and legs hurt - which makes just about any shoe uncomfortable - and it can be difficult to keep your balance when walking - which makes stable shoes an absolute must. Mom looks great, she’s stable on her feet and she loves the feel.

I had to put in extra heel support and tried inner sole as the shoe felt too big. It is ok with heavy socks.

Slipped on fine, but shortly after putting on the heel slipped up and down. Cute, but must be returned. Thank you Zappos for carrying my size.

Bought a second pair. Great for work. Classic and comfortable!

too big at heel but too small at toe box

This shoe was cute, and it was the right size for me (9 1/2 AA). However, its styling, which I didn't identify correctly in the photos, was the excessively round-toe one, resulting in what I would call a 'stubby front.' My feet do not have a rounded profile in the toes, rather, my big toe is at least 1/2" longer than the toe next to it. The leather was soft, so I could get my feet into the shoes, but although I wore them only for a few minutes on the carpet in the house, my big toe was sore the next day. Will be returning, too bad. Shoe designers: please stop designing these stubby-toe shoes!

I've owned many pairs of Clarks, all the same size. This particular one ran short, felt like I needed to go up half a size.

I couldn't get both heel and toe to fit. If one was correct, then the other would be off.

I bought a pair of these a number of years ago and have enjoyed them so thought I'd order another pair in a different color. I ordered the same size but the toe area was noticeably curved slightly instead of straight like the other pair. Therefore they rubbed my toes. Going to order a half size bigger to see if all are being made that way.

Very comfortable shoe if using as a slipper, but I was looking for Clark’s usual support where you can walk all day in the shoe with great comfort and support. The shoe did not match the photo. It appears reddish brown and dark brown. In truth it was hard to distinguish the two shades from each other. Also someone said they looked cheap and I have to agree. Was hoping for a classy classic.

I think they are very attractive but they are not as comfortable for walking as previous Clarks shoes I've bought. I had to go with a half size larger than usual, which was also the case with other Clark and Merrell shoes I tried at the same time. It could be that my foot is now in between sizes.

Size is too big, I could get a size smaller, but the material (if it’s leather) is way too stiff for me to “break in”, so I am returning the shoes. Sad...

Loved these shoes and they felt great right out of the box! I had to send them back because the heel of the shoe was too wide and my heel kept slipping up and down?

Three stars because what used to be a great shoes has in recent years, become only a good shoe. Also, the pair I received had obviously been returned because the shoes had skin cells & hair inside the shoes along with dirt on the soles. This is the first time I've ever received an item from Zappos in such filthy condition.

I really like the shoes, but was disappointed in the difference between the actual color and what it appeared like, on the website. The "multi brown" appeared to be a shiny red-brown with a contrasting medium brown color. The actual shoe is a flat (not glossy) medium chocolate brown with a SLIGHTLY darker brown. The contrast is very subtle, very different from the picture.

I ordered this shoe in both a 8 1/2 M and 8 1/2 N. The 8 1/2N was too narrow in the toes and the 8 1/2M was too long. Finally ordered a 9N and it fit perfectly. Love the style - dressy or casual.

the fit in general was fine, and the shoes were cute and comfortable--after the first try-on I thought I would keep them. However, my big toe is longer than my other toes, and so a round-toe shoe like this one isn't ideal, and indeed the shoe pushed slightly on the end of my big toe. Upon a little afternoon wearing of the shoe in the afternoon at home, I found that this wasn't acceptable. Am returning. No size at all would have fit me, the style simply wasn't meant for my foot.

Before ordering I saw one other review that mentioned this, but I decided to try them anyway -- they are two wide from the arch to the heel; they flop off the back when I walk. Otherwise they seem very comfortable. Sending them back. Wish they fit better as I'm having trouble finding a shoe like this.

Finally a shoe with a wide toe box. They fit perfectly. BUT - after 30 seconds on my foot, I knew the wad of crude stitching inside, front, would cause painful blisters. Don't know if this was just a bad pair or what, but back they go.

Shoes were too wide in the heel despite being a Narrow. Had to return them.

The box said brown multi but the shoes inside matched the picture for tan leather instead. The inner support is not enough. Plus the shoe bed is not removable so I cannot use my own inserts. The heel is wide and my heel slides out.

I normally wear a 9.5 and needed a wider width than medium. Unfortunately, I had to return this shoe - it was larger and longer than a 9.5 and the width was too wide across the ball of the foot and way too wide in the heel. I felt this shoe was much larger and was not able to wear.

Appeared to be well made, but style was more frumpy in person than in pictures. Also the wide size was not quite wide enough for me. Returning

I have four pairs of Ashland bubble in ww . the front is great for my wide feet, the back, especially on this one, is quite wide and i have to augment with those heel inserts, more than one. otherwise could not use the shoes as they would slip off. But for my wide wide front feet they are perfect.

I have a pair of these shoes in black, the exact pair. These brown ones do not fit the same at all. They slip in the heel, unlike the black ones which are a perfect fit. So disappointed. This is the second time this has happened with Clarks in ordering a different color in the same shoe. Not the same fit at all.
