I received these shoes and they fit perfectly! The toe box is generous so that your toes are not crushed. Beware, however, of the fact that Clarks' products are not standardized: my first pair of the Ashland Bubble had the top of the heel section that was almost 1/4" higher than this pair that I ordered from Zappos! The first pair cut right into my ankle and I had to return them. This pair fit perfectly, so maybe even at Zappos, you will need to order a second pair and return the first if the problem lies with the Clarks brand! I do admit, though, that Clarks is where I always begin shopping since they have a wide variety of styles. I was looking for a comfy everyday shoe and this Ashland plus the Ashland Lily have nicely cushioned innersoles. The 12 Med is the size I bought. I don't think that I am really a size 12, but the way that shoes are made these days in China means that we all have to work with the sizing we are offered. I had to play with inserts to make my smaller foot fit well in the shoe. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these but be sure to try a second pair if the first one doesn't exactly fit correctly!

I usually buy Clarks shoes for their comfort and quality. Something has changed with Clarks - sizing not consistent and not as comfortable. I tried two different shoes before I found this pair. The Ashland Bubble is very comfortable and doesn't need a break-in period. This is an excellent shoe if you are on your feet most of the day like I am. Size 8 1/2 W.

I like the preppy simplicity of the appearance but this shoe has become my favorite because of the outstanding level of comfort. It is true to size for me (9.5M), plus, I need a more ample toe box and this loafer provides that comfort. I now own four pairs and intend to buy more colors..

I sometimes need a wide width, but did not need it with these shoes. Very good support and well made. The decorative tassel can be removed if wanted.

The size narrow did not feel narrow enough and was still too wide.

These are cute work shoes to wear with jeans or slacks. They do not make my size 10 feet look huge either. The heel is a little big, but they are fitting nicely and aren’t slipping.

I've ordered other shoes online and had to return. These were surprisingly comfortable. I've had less than one week. Hope not to get blisters. The tassels are a nice decoration. I'll rate again in a couple months.

I like the shoe - plenty of room in the toe box, which I like. But too long and slips when I walk. I've tried them with thicker socks and still have the same problem. Like most manufacturers, Clark's doesn't make a size 10.5. I can't understand why this is so hard. There ARE people between 10 and 11 size feet!

The shoe fits great. I have a hard time finding a shoe wide enough for my wide feet and high instep. They are a little tight in the toes but that is to be expected with leather loafers and I am confident they will loosen with time.

A comfortable shoe with good cushioning. I ordered these in a wide and they are a perfect fit. These shoes will probably be one of my favorites.

Lovely shoes however the toe area was too narrow for my tender feet, so I am returning them. I'll decide on another pair later.

Reviews said the shoes ran wide. I used to wear a narrow shoe, but wound up buying medium width for decades as that was all I usually found. I decided to try this shoe in a narrow width. It fits "like a glove." I suspect it will require a little breaking in - it's comfortable to try on but if my feet swell, it will be a tight fit.

For the past two years I've been looking for a great pair of comfortable shoes to wear with slacks and jeans, stylish but not over the top. These shoes fit the bill. Very true to size and comfy as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes...I bought the brown tone and will be ordering them in black ASAP.

Extra wide really *is* extra wide. Cute styling, casual without being clunky. Comfortable to walk in, no rubbing in the heels.

This flat shoe actually has good cushioning. I am a narrow size, and it does not fall off my feet. It is so pleasing to find a shoe that is not just functional, but also fashionable.

These shoes are the best combination of comfort and style I have had in years. The shoes arrived and I tried them on --I did not stop wearing them for several days after that-They were so very comfortable. I ended up buying them in 2 other colors (brown and navy). Now a word about style--Well, yes, the style is ok---for a silver haired, jeans wearing hippie type. They are sort of preppy and sort of "nun" like but really go with almost any clothing--black dress pants, khakis, probably skirt and tights. I've worn them with and without socks and the size is perfect! Woulod highly recommend them for challenging feet! (small bunyons, wide foot narrowish heal.
