These shorts are comfortable and cut generously through the hips and crotch. The stitching along the bottoms of each leg opening were a bit frayed in places. If you went to private school, you'll recognize the weight and feel of the fabric.

I am 6'4" tall and the 11" inseam fit me perfect. Slightly below the knees. Great fit and look.

Great fit. A little on the dressier side so pairs well with a dress shirt or tee. I sized down to a 34 I usually wear a 36 for a looser fit but the 34 fit well.

Love these shorts! Bought my first pair in size 38, thinking they might run small since I'm 6'3", 215. Returned those for 36 and they fit great! Inseam length is just long enough Ended up getting them in all 3 colors.

These shorts are longer, roomier and baggier than the weekender shorts. That is good or bad depending on your opinion. I like these for longer expeditions like an all-day, all-night event. The roomier fit is easier to live with for extended wear and the longer pant legs cover my knees better for UVs. Just barely long enough to provide my knees with shade when I sit in a chair. :) The Cardboard color is hard to match with other clothes, but variety is the spice of life. The material is made from a polyester blend that is rather stiff, but also rugged. These are not snug tush-hugging shorts. They even call them nostalgic, reminding me of the fit of the baggy shorts of the 90s, but much more sleek.

Nice quality shorts. I would suggest sizing up in the waist. I wear a 32 and they are a little snug on me, they still fit just a tad tight around the waist. I'm sure they will break in with more wear. Other than very good quality, and fast delivery.

Great shorts, exactly as I wanted. I look and feel cool in them. Seriously I've ordered countless things from Zappos over the years and they still surprise me with their reliability and customer service (and the early shipping!)

Overall, these shorts are solid. The waist is true to size, and the length bucks the current shrinking trend that seems to be affecting more and more brands of men's shorts. I am approximately 5'10, and these hit at the bottom part of my knee. I docked a star for comfort because these are initially very stiff, but I suspect they will loosen up after a few trips through the washer and dryer. My only other complaint is that these things are an absolute magnet for lint, and their deep black color makes everything stand out like a sore thumb.

It may take a while before I'll know for certain about these shorts. My initial impression is generally good but they seem a bit "stiff" and maybe that is because I generally wear 100% cotton shorts and these are a blend. I'm tall & thin but find that these do (as others here have written) run a bit small, as well. I would recommend going one size larger for most people.
