A triple threat! Style, function and comfort! These boots are adorable on! Wear them with tights, skinny jeans or your favorite fall dress! The shaft of the boot fits my medium size calf (as I am a runner). The fleece lining makes them warm and the arch support is comfortable. The interior is nicely made with smooth transitions, meaning no inner lumps and bumps rubbing my foot. I wear a 71/2, ordered the same size boot and they fit perfectly. I can't wait to wear these in the rain, sleet and snow of Kentucky!

I love this boot so much, however it's too small. 7.5 for Los Angeles weather, leather boots, is great after about a week of wear and stretching, but for weather boots you need more sock space and they stretch less. 8.5 has my toe right against the edge,and since it wont stretch at all with a rubber base, I am pushing up to a 9. Hope this helps with your sizing concerns. The shoe is amazing.

Based on reviews here (and on other sites), I was nervous about buying my regular size in these, but they fit true to size. I get the impression that some buyers had trouble getting them on, which I can see, although I had no trouble getting them on and the fit leaves a little room in the toe. I often am between an 8 and 8.5 depending on the style of shoe, I went with the 8 and they're perfect. The leather is also much softer than I expected and the foot is more pliable. I expected a stiff boot that I'd have to break in but these are already soft and pliable! Excited to test them in the rain!

Have been eyeing these boots for about a year now. So glad I made the purchase. Was looking for something stylish yet practical for harsh winters. I plan on spending a lot of time in these. Have a wide calf so was concerned about the circumference but I ordered half size up and fits will with jeans. Plus, there is a cinch on the back that can be loosed if necessary. They are a bit snug more in the ankle area if that should be an area of concern for you.

I'm not sure if I'm the first man to write in about these awesome boots but if so I hope this is an inspiration for other men to try them out. I saw a co-worker with a pair last year and instantly loved the way they looked. She said that they were super comfortable and kept her feet and legs warm. I had a similar style looking boot that was only eight inches tall and laced up the front, but because of the amount of snow we get here in Northern Indiana there were times when my old boots although warm, still had snow falling inside. The other thing I liked about these Sorel's was that they were a boot you could dress up or down and wear with my jeans tucked into or wear over the top of the boot. So when I saw them offered at Zappos I showed my Wife and she too really liked the look and said I should get them. I did the conversion from my man's size to a woman's size and because the other reviews suggested going up a size decided to try them in the 12's in the "Nutmeg". They arrived very quickly after ordering them and I hurriedly went upstairs to try them on. At my Wifes suggestion I tried them on with a pair of trouser socks and although they were a little difficult to pull on once I slid my foot into the foot part they fit like a dream. My Wife said they looked even better in person than online. The fit in the calf was great (I have small calves) which will allow me to tuck a pair of straight leg jeans into them if so desired. My Wife liked them so much she's considering ordering a pair for herself. I told her that she should treat herself and we could match with his and hers "Slimpacks". My only reservation is that they're such a nice boot I hate to wear them with all the salt/snow, however I can't wait to show them off either. I hope this review helps other men out there to try these stellar looking great fitting boots.

True to almost all customers' previous reviews, the boots ran small. I wear an 8, ordered an 8.5. The 8.5 was too small still, so I ordered a 9. Tried with thick socks, tried without and they were great! I did email CS with a concern about the few reviews where the waterproofing did not hold up, and they were quick to respond. I won't have a chance to test them out until the wintry weather hits. Warm and stylish. Hoping they're as warm as testified during winter too! The gray is as pictured (unlike on the Sorel website where the gray is much darker).

So bummed about these boots! I fell in love with them right out of the box. The leather is soft like butter and they are beautifully crafted. But once I tried them on, my heart was broken. Even with the adjustable back, my calves are just too muscular for these boots. My calves measure 15.5 inches at the widest point. The boots have no zippers and simply pull on. I didn't have any trouble getting my foot in but once I had them on, the boots bunched up awkwardly at the ankles. I ordered up a 1/2 size like most other reviewers recommended and I think it is a good idea if you want to wear a thicker sock with them. Otherwise I think my true size would have been just fine. Sadly I will be sending them back and continuing my search for a wider tall boot. Really bummed cause I love the way they look!

Love these boots!!! I disagree with other reviews that say they hard to put on/take off. I have no problem with either. I went up half a size and they are perfect and can accommodate a pair of wool socks. I plan to get a ton of use out of them.

So comfy and good looking Sorels! These boots get the "cute boots," from random people. The fit is classic for Sorels. I am 8-8.5, and these fit nice as 8.5. After a few wears, they seem a tad bigger, as I think the sole forms. They are really just rubber boots on your feet, but with the beautiful leather upper. Happy to have for this winter!

These are very stylish and flattering for a weatherproof boot. There is very little padding inside, so wear warm socks with these and you will be good to go. Thank you to Zappos for an effortless exchange, as the first pair were too small. When they recommend to size up, they mean it!

These are fantastic! Too warm to give them a true test drive yet, but overall they look great and are easy to get on and off, and they are very comfortable. They run a full size small. I normally wear an 8 and bought a 9 and they fit perfectly. These slide over leggings and jeans with no problem. I love the gray color!

I wear these boots everywhere! And yes, I do ride horses and wear them for that too. I love them so much I want to buy another pair so when these wear out I'll have another. Problem is I have had them for over a year and they still look like new. I guess I'll get another stand by pair so I can rest easy that I will always have my favorite boot when I need it. Get these. I live where it is snow and below zero wind chills a lot. Those are the days I wear thermal sock in my Sorel riding boot.

These boots are so cute! I purchased 2 pairs. The 1st pair I got had a rough seam inside. I bought another to see if it was better. I bought the same size and could not get my feet into them? So I kept the 1st pair b/c they are great.

I love these boots. I have narrow calves so the adjuster on the shaft is what made them work so perfectly for me. I wear an 8 or 8.5 depending. I tried them both and went with the 8. The 8.5 looked a little wider than I liked. I wear them with jeans and leggings, and dresses and they have come in incredibly handy this rainy winter. I found Sorel on Zappos 2 years ago and will always come back to see what they have new. Zappos is awesome too!

First of all, these boots are AMAZING!! I ordered 1/2 size up like the reviews said and they fit perfectly with a merino wool sock (I could probably go smartwool phd and they'd be fine as well). I'm a runner with larger calves and the boots pulled up just fine. The boots were much lighter than I expected them to be which was a plus. They will be great here in Colorado from a practical standpoint as well as a fashionable standpoint. Secondly, the service I got from Zappos was second to none! My size (10.5) could not be found on ANY website. I wrote to zappos with a plea that I believed if anyone would get these boots in stock at some point, my faith was in them and if they could help. Then, I got a reply the very next day; they had just gotten 2 pairs in and they had written to acknowledge my email and to let me know the good news. Luckily, I was able to snag them up just in time! Upon checkout, my heart sunk a little knowing I'd have to wait about 5 days (but was so grateful to have gotten them!) so when I received them today (1 day later), I was giddy with excitement!

LOVE THESE BOOTS! I was a little hesitant to spend this much on rubber boots but they really aren't. The leather is beautiful and the are so comfortable. :) LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

I usually wear a size 6, but I could not even get my feet past the ankles in these! I had to order a 6½, and I can get them on easily. The foot is a little roomy but I can wear thick socks!

I really love these boots and have gotten a bunch of compliments on them...the sizing is really weird though. I read the reviews and ordered a 10.5 (I'm a solid 9.5 normally) - I think an 11 would have been an even better fit, although the 10.5 does the job and is comfortable. I wish the calves and ankles had a little more room, but I'm pregnant and swollen so maybe take that with a grain of salt. Love the boots though, no regrets on the purchase!

I absolutely adore my Sorel Slimpack riding boots! They are totally waterproof and are plenty warm with Smartwool boot socks on a damp and chilly Pacific Northwest winter day! These boots are so cool looking on and I get many compliments on them. It is awesome to have fully warm and functional boots that are also stylish. I normally wear a 9½ but purchased a 10. While a 9½ length would have been fine, I have very high volume feet so I could not slip my feet into the 9½ boots. Half a size larger and it was no issue sliding my feet in. If you find that you cannot slide you feet in, do try half a size up. Calf wise, I had to undo the buckle until the fit relaxed enough around the widest part of my calves. After wearing for a bit then I rebuckled. If you have wider calfs, give it a little time to stretch a bit.

Perfectly perfect in every way. I eyed these guys for over a year and finally took the plunge. So glad I did! I've had multiple compliments on them. They are lightly lined in fleece, so they are super warm and waterproof. They fit true to size, and fit nicely over my large calves. Very comfy and easy to slip on and off.

I absolutely love these boots! I live in MN, so have a large collection of boots for fall and winter weather. These boot are cross between fashion and true function I'm winter weather. I'm constantly getting compliments. Sizing - I am traditionally a 7.5, but in while sizes a 7. I tried this boot on in both an 8 and a 7 based on reviews and I went with the 7. The boot itself is trickier to get on in the ankle area, but overall the fit is much less sloppy in the foot area.

I love these boots. After reading the reviews I was worried about sizing, width at the calf and ease of getting the boots on/off. I ordered an 8.5, as I am normally an 8 to 8.5, and this size was good for me. The boots are not cold weather boots unless you wear warm socks. There is no lining. If you want these to be a cold weather winter boot, definitely order a half size to a full size larger than your normal size to make room for bulky socks. If you will wear a thinner, thinsulate sock, a half size up should be fine. They were tough to get on (I gave a high arch), but a little tugging and on they went. Each time I wear them they are easier to get on and off. The oiled leather is so soft and pliable. The color (I bought Shale) is fantastic. You can wear these boots with anything from snow pants to skirts. My first day wearing them was comfortable from start to finish. No break in period. These boots, and the Zappos customer service are top notch.
