I bought these boots for the colder, wetter months out here in the Pacific Northwest and I must say I'm a little iffy on these. On one hand, they look great and I've received lots of compliments on them from coworkers, friends and strangers. On the other, these boots aren't as rugged and comfortable as I was hoping. It's the same canvas material as their bags so it's pretty durable, but they're easily prone to getting wet and there's not a lot of padding. There's virtually zero traction with the soles and I almost ate it several times walking down an icy sidewalk on my commute to work. For commuters like me who use public transit and walk roughly two miles a day, I'd say look into another boot that can better handle inclement weather and be comfortable while doing so.

I have yet to wear them, but I LOVE the style of these shoes. I followed Chrome's advice of ordering a half size smaller than a regular street shoe and I found that to be far too small. I wear a women's 9.5 and the 8 fits fine. These are obviously well-made, sturdy shoes and I hope they last me a long time.

Great looking shoes, true to size, and well made. I would definitely buy another pair (in fact I probably will). I have already had multiple people compliment them and ask where they can get a pair. The only downside is a lack of arch support, which is a given with flat soled shoes like these. Unless you are standing for 8 hours straight you'll be ok. I wear them every day.

My comments are more about Zappos than the product itself, which is terrific. I purchased these Chromes as a gift for my son. He loves the shoes; this was not his first pair. Although I ordered the correct size for him (10), I failed to double check the order when it arrived in November. When my son opened his Christmas gift, the shoes were actually a size 15! I called customer service and they Promptly sent out the correct size. They didn't even wait for me to send the return! By the way they emailed me a free shipping label for that return. We received the correct size shoes THE VERY NEXT DAY, no joke!! As far as I'm concerned, this companie's customer service is the very best out there!

Th4se are the best sneaker sole work boot I have found. It's got great style, excellent quality, and good support. I purchased these ballistic nylon boots for warmer drier days. I like these boots so much I also purchased the water resistant treated genuine leather version for colder and rainy days. Both models are extremely lightweight for such durable boots. I don't do physical labor, so I bought these boots, because they look great with jeans and chinos. All Chrome products are extremely well made. Chrome is one of my favorite brands in the casual shoe/sneaker category. These get my highest recommendation.

Very stylish and comfortable with good support. I changed my laces to solid black and these shoes look much better. I find all Chrome shoes very well made. Never disappointed with a purchase of Chrome shoes.

These shoes are awesome. I think my story should help explain why: I live in Seattle and bike commute to work about three miles each way. Last week we had our first real winter storm of the season. I was coming home from the office, but thought that I could beat the storm, so I did not change into my normal get wet outfit. I did not buy these shoes with any expectation that they could repel a Seattle winter storm, either. I totally underestimated how long it would take to get going, and by the time I got onto the street on my bike the storm was really starting. I proceeded to ride the most miserable ride of 2015 all three miles home. Literally every aspect of my outfit was soaked thoroughly. I was wearing these new shoes and was thinking that they were going to be ruined. Turns out the only thing that was dry was my socks. The shoes were wet on the outside, but I wiped them off with one paper towel each, and was wearing them two hours later inside my house. They are also comfortable and supportive, but that sort of varies on what type of foot you have. I have size 13, high arch, wide toed/narrow heeled feet, and these allow my toes to touch the ground while I walk, while providing ankle support. I find them more comfortable than most of my other casual shoes (typically Nike or Etines sneakers). I have gotten a bunch of compliments while wearing them with normal outfits, as well. They are highly recommended, especially for Seattle winter bike commuters.

This was a gift, so I cannot tell if it was comfortable or not. But I will be getting a 1/2 size bigger.

I wear these every day for my work. They give me the ankle support I need but I would like to see more support in the arch. I love the material and the look of them.

I really wanted this boot to work considering I have a difficult time finding an affordable boot. However, I found this boot to be too wide and even though the boot is made of a material similar to a sneaker, it was still somewhat heavy. But, then again, it is a work boot. Also disappointing, the tongue area of the boot was slightly painful on the leg after tying the boot regardless of how loosely it is tied. This boot was returned after realizing I probably would not wear them if I kept them.

It would be nice if it came in size 8.5-9.5 in men.
