I have been a Ryka fan since they started making them and this shoe would be great for running or walking. However, I am now 49 and my running days are over (My knees don't like it anymore). I now do various HIIT routines and cross fit routines that involve alot of lateral movement. These shoes ARE NOT good for that. They are cut lower than my other Ryka's have been and there is no way to tighten them around the ankle. The toe box no longer has the leather/pleather support going back to the side of the box, therefore my foot slides around alot in the front of the shoe. Keeping that in mind, they are still a fabulous shoe and are a great steal for the price. Just look at other models if you too do alot of lateral exercises or zumba, etc. Excellent cushion, excellent arch support. Great visual appeal as well. Love the look, just not the function for my use.

This shoe is very lightweight and airy, perfect for southern summers! I normally wear a size 8, but my toes actually hit the front so had to go up a half size. I haven't had them for very long so can't speak to durability yet.

Right out of the box these shoes fit really well and felt comfortable. They are light and stylish to boot! Looking forward to hitting the trails in these.

This was a very comfortable water shoe (after having tried and returned several) and it worked well on the beach.

Awesome shoe. I bought this for my 13 year old as she was going on a school trip requiring water shoes. Love them. They are as cute in person as they look online. Great construction and look like they will last a good long time. Very Happy!

Love these shoes...Ryka shoes are great for narrow heels. This is probably my 8th pair of Ryka water shoes. I ordered a larger size to allow room for my orthotics. I also ordered the Columbia water shoes because I had heard great things about them; however, I am sending them back because they are stiff and uncomfortable.

I use this shoe for running on an underwater treadmill as part of my physical therapy/rehab. It is wonderful!

Great shoe for water walking, jogging or water aerobics! Supportive shoe and helps to avoid slipping on pool decks, locker rooms etc. I cinch the laces tight then double tie the laces & they do not come undone in the water.

These Ryka hydro sport shoes are the best water shoes I've ever had! I have very unhappy feet in general due to a couple of foot issues, and purchased these shoes for a vacation at a water park hotel. I wore them for 4 days for several hours at a time in pools, walking on tile floors, and going down water slides,. My feet were so comfortable and I didn't get a single blister either! In previous years, I've had a couple of other pairs of water shoes (other brands) which ended in terrible blisters, then having to go barefoot and my feet in total misery. These Ryka shoes were just the best! I can't say enough good things about them! They look like athletic shoes but I had no issues with lifeguards not allowing them in the pools. In terms of fit, I wear a 10.5 and am on the verge of needing a wide width and ordered the 11 medium which was a great fit and plenty wide. The insole is removable to help with drying, and there is a lace lock to help keep them from untying in the water. The sole is like an athletic shoe so I think these would be great in rivers or lakes too where feet need protection from rocks. For what it's worth, I did wear them at home with socks for a few hours before the trip to help reduce the chance of blisters. I don't know if that was necessary but I didn't get blisters. I would recommend them if you have any sort of foot problems or like to protect your feet while being active in water. And you can't beat Zappos fast shipping!

Love these shoes! Excellent support. I use the toggle to tighten, then tie the laces in a bow and tuck the loops under the criss-crossed laces so they don't come untied. True to size for me. Very comfortable-really great for water aerobics.

I wear these shoes for water exercise. They are comfortable and supportive. Zappos has the best customer service.

This is a very comfortable lightweight shoe for use in the water if you want/need to protect your feet. Seems like it will also be useful for walks on the beach, etc.

This is my third pair of Ryka water shoes, which I wear for water aerobics. The arch support is wonderful. I have wide feet, and the adjustable laces are a big plus, especially when my feet occasionally swell. Be sure to double tie the laces as they do tend to come untied when working out in deep water.

I ordered this shoe having worn a Ryka pool shoe for water exercise for many years. Am very disappointed with the new style of lacing. Cannot keep them laced up. The previous style had a looped, stretch lace, which could not come undone. Very disappointed - have to interrupt my exercise routine to relace the shoes. Why did you change?

I have not yet taken these shoes in the water, but I have been wearing them around the house for days. They are very comfortable right out of the box. I put in store-bought orthodics and they fit great. I plan to use the shoes as my only pair on a kayak trip to Belize in February.

I wear an 8½ I had to return that size and get a 9. I love these water aerobic sneakers. They are so very comfortable. The laces are too long. I would recommend them to everyone.

Great H2o fitness shoes. Lightweight; good water flow; easier on and off than previous style with stretch laces. Also good support for on deck teaching.
