These are the most comfortable, stylish shoes. They look like a boot. I'll confirm what other reviewers said, and add how I fixed it. I wanted the smooth version, because it looks more professional, but the same size in smooth is way tighter! So, I ordered this version and brought it to a shoe place and they polished it to look like the smooth. A little annoying that I had to go through this, but I love these shoes.

These are the greatest shoes I have ever owned. I know that is a bold statement, but it is true. I teach at the local community college, and I am on my feet all the time. I can't wear tennis shoes to work, so I had been looking for a comfort shoe that can be dressed up a bit. This one is it. I am a perfect size 8 (I was recently sized at a specialty store), and I bought these in an 8, but they are a little loose. I can wear them with thick socks and I still have extra room. I am about to order the Patagonia MJ Clog in a half size smaller so that I can wear them with tights. I'm telling you - I had tried them all. The other clogs out there are big and clunky and just plain unattractive. These rock. I wear them on everyday now, not just to work, but everywhere. With my lululeggings and a sweatshirt, with dresses, with jeans, with EVERYTHING. Get them, you won't regret it.

OMG I had to write a review on these... Once you try them on you won't leave them. Wonderful wedge that you don't even feel, I walk a lot with them and after my feet feel better than with sneakers. They look gorgeous too (MUCH better than Dansko, but that kind of look, maybe less bulky). They are pretty lightweight too for my standards. As maybe 50% of the other people I tried both this type (better clog ankle) and the other one (better clog) and I felt these suit me better (I was probably in between sizes, so a more "boot-like" shoe helped make it feel right). If you are in between sizes, pick half a size up (I am between 8.5 and 9 and had to go with 9). I have the dark espresso color and I love it, it's a very dark brown. These can be your only winter/fall shoes. Highly recommended!

I ordered these and the original Patagonia Better Clogs. I thought these were much better looking, although they are a bit tight across my instep (the other ones were not). I am hoping that they will stretch a bit over time. Otherwise they are very comfortable, practical, and stylish!

Love it. It does run very small though. It is extremely comfortable. I have had surgery on both feet and this shoe has been a Godsend.

These are fun, supportive, and light. Only issue was that I had to try several pair to get a good fit; lots of variability among the shoes. Very stylish and fun casual shoes.

I absolutely love these clogs. They fit like a glove...with no slipping of the heel. Wore them all day right out of the box.

These clogs are awesome! They feel like house slippers and I could wear them all day. I was hesitant to buy them because they were kind of pricey but well worth it. The heel is just the right height and they are easy on easy off.

Love these, own them in two colors. By far the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I can wear these shoes all day without my feet hurting -- no exaggeration! I know, these are expensive but they are worth it.

I love this clog. It has a low profile that makes it less bulky than many clogs. It also looks like a cross between a clog and an ankle boot. Super good looking with jeans!

These stay on! I have flat feet and clogs have always just fallen off. They are wide enough in the toe for wearing socks. Hurray!

I really liked these shoes -- comfortable and very nicely made. But they slipped right off my feet in the size I usually wear. I'm trying a half size smaller. Hope it fits.

I love the regular better clog, but the ankle version seems to slip. Back they go.

I love these clogs so much, I got them in brown too. They fit perfect immediately, no breaking in. They are secure on the feet. No slipping, yet still easy to get in and out of. They also comfortable, but work the foot muscles. I traveled for a week and these were all I brought. Nice look from jeans to skirts.

I love these shoes. They were perfect right out of the box. They are stylish and really comfortable. I hope Patagonia makes them forever. I spend long hours on my feet as a nurse. Zappos is the best company. I ordered them one day, and they arrived the next and I did not pay for expedited shipping.

Ordered these for my wife for Christmas. She has a high arch and has a hard time finding shoes to fit, but these fit like a glove. Very comfortable.

Love these shoes. Very Euro appeal. Slimmer look than most clogs and very comfortable for all day walking/standing. Only down side is they only come in nubuck not leather.

These clogs feel like you're walking on sturdy clouds! I think they're a little bit ugly, to be honest -- I bought the black ones, size 7 -- and after my first look at them I was set to send them back. Then I put them on and walked around a while. Oooooooooh! Such a treat! The toe box is a little roomier than I'm used to, but everything else fits so well and feels so good that I decided to take care of that by wearing slightly thicker socks. Only slightly, mind you. The leather is a bit shiny, which I don't like, but other reviewers say the shine goes away after a while, so we'll see. All in all I put comfort above all else since I have plenty of cute but no-so-comfy shoes. I will definitely put these on as soon as I get home from work. And who knows, I might end up thinking they're cute and wearing them to work as well. I even bought a second pair in the llama color.

Loved the clog aspect of the shoe but the front piece really cuts into the front of your shoe. They also run a little tight but should stretch over time because of the leather. Love the shoe and will try their other model without the high front.

These look great and have great flexibility and support, but the "ankle" part of the Better Clog Ankle dug into the front of my ankle when I walked. I returned these in favor of the Better Clog with which I am fully comfortable and happy.

I loved these clogs from the minute I put them on. They are comfortable walking shoes and look great with jeans. Yesterday I got caught in a snowstorm and walked almost a mile in these clogs. My feet stayed dry and pretty warm.

I was hoping to become a convert from Danskos to these shoes, but no. One reviewer mentioned that these shoes work for narrow feet or felt very snug on the foot. I want to note that while it's possible they may be on the narrow end of medium, they are NOT going to work for you if you need a genuine narrow width shoe. The 11 was loose and insecure on my 11N foot. Also the matte finish looked more informal than the polished finish of Danskos. I wouldn't wear these with skirts or work pants, as I do with my Danskos. Also, the shank was much lighter and more flexible, which is to say less supportive and less good than a Dansko.

Fit fine and felt good, but the online image makes it appear as though the Llama color is a lighter shade than the espresso. These were so dark brown that they almost looked black. Verified I did receive Llama vs Espresso. Didn't like them. Sent back.

Great looking shoes. Fit me in a 7.5 -- I usually take an 8. But the finish on them is really strange. Looks as if the color has been rubbed off in spots--like they'd been worn a lot. Have to send them back.
