I would probably give this shoe 4 starts but I am so disappointed that my size 11 shoe is too small on me. I always order an 11 and this feels more like a 10.5. I am wearing them hoping that they stretch a bit. I teach a dance fitness class and wear these only for that class. The bottom of show moves well for dancing.

I was interested to see what new Balance had to offer in a Zumba shoe. These do run true to size and width (although perhaps a touch narrow). I am returning because the arch support was much too supportive. The moment I put on these shoes and stood up, my arches began to ache and cramp from the pressure in the arch. Arch support is part of the shoe, not the insert. I have high arches, don't really need much support for them. So if you need arch support, this is your shoe! Overall, I thought the shoe seemed flimsy for the cost, and I didn't much like the tongue being attached on one side to the shoe. I will continue to look for a replacement for the Nike Musiques that I am currently wearing into the ground.

I wanted to love this shoe, but it was just too tight for me. I think the tongue being connected to one side is what makes it not easily fit even in wide! The shoe is built well, and I love the pivot points on the bottom, but it's just a bit too narrow for me.

I was super excited to find aerobic shoes with pivot bottoms in my size (5). I ordered them and they actually fit (shoes tend to be too big on my heels) - although they are a bit snug so I do have to wear thin sports socks with them. They are comfortable on but as dance shoes (I wore them to Zumba and by the end of the class, my feet were just tired, so I may need to switch out the insoles. Now to be fair, it could have been our gym floor but I felt like these shoes did not move, I could not slide or pivot very well and so I did not feel they are great gym shoes. And my feet feel very warm in them, they are not very good shoes for breathing. I will still give them a few more tries, maybe it is a breaking in period and if my opinion change, I will update this review. One thing I do like is the cushioning around the ankles.

I normally wear a Women's size 7 Wide. I ordered these in 7.5 Wide and they were too short at the toe and too tight. The heel was nice and narrow. I think that they did alot to slim down and tighten the front toe area and that is uncomfortable but I did like the feel of the shoe and had they fit well, I would have kept them.

My feet are wide across the top due to bunions. I have always found New Balance the most comfortable brand even in a regular medium width. I am in need of a shoe with pivot point for dance aerobics. I was disappointed in the 867. The design of the tongue was very strange. It is attached to one side of the shoe rather than the area where you would start lacing (the top towards the toe area of the shoe.) I opted for a half size larger and a wide width as suggested by other reviewers and the shoe still felt tight. These are going back.

Love the style and comfort. However the shoe is not holding up. After the first week the stitching is all coming out.

In a nutshell, these do not work for Zumba, if you are a serious, high-impact, intense Zumba person. After a few wears, even with replacing the insoles with "active" insoles, they feel like you're wearing flip flops to work out. (If you are a low impact person, that may work for you!) Still can't find anything that compares to Ryka Studio Ds. Sigh.

I wore these so I cannot return them. They are the most uncomfortable zumba shoes ever. No support whatsoever.

I ordered a 10.5 Wide. I was unable to even get my foot into the shoe. I would guess that it had something to do with the overall design of the shoe. The toe area was so constricting that I couldn't get my foot in. My daughter, who is a size 9.5 Regular width, tried the shoe on and it fit great, except that it was about a half size too long.

Ordered two pair, both New Balance. Same size and same width. This pair is at least one size too short and one size too narrow. Very disappointed.

These are the most uncomfortable athletic shoes that I have ever worn. I am such a fan of New Balance and really wanted these to work, but even after a quick trip to the grocery store to try these out, my feet were throbbing. These definitely run very narrow. I do not typically need to order a wide width, but because of the other reviews I read, I did. I also ordered half a size up. The wide width was still so narrow, I could barely get my feet in. Sorry, New Balance, you really missed the mark with these.

I just got back from vacation where I wore my brand new New Balance WX867 shoes. By day two both shoes were squeaking when I walked. Squeaking at the Pivot Point it seemed. For shoes at this price I am extremely disappointed as who wants to walk around with squeaky shoes?
