I love these boots. They are well made. I know I will have them a long time and I am sure to get at least 400 wears out of them.

Oh my, after getting my first pair of these boots in the brown, I was so in love with them I ordered them in the other two colors, as well! They are beautiful! I wear either a 7 or 7-1/2 shoe and the 7-1/2 fit perfectly in these boots. Very easy on and off with the zipper. Extremely comfortable and love that the soles are not slippery. I have thin calves and these fit very nicely. The shaft is a perfect height for me, does not hit the back of my knee when walking or sitting, yet tall enough to look good with skinny jeans, leggings or dresses, too. I love everything about this boot, but most of all love how comfortable it is. I have some beautiful Frye boots, but I have to say these boots surpass the Frye's in comfort and the leather and style are right up there, too.

I absolutely love these boots! I was a bit hesitant because I have narrow ankles, and thicker calves, but these boots are perfect! They are slim fitting, and feel tight when first worn, but every wear they get looser and more comfortable. I thank all the people before me who wrote helpful reviews, because I had been searching for boots forever, and I finally found a pair I love! I love them so much, that I am going to purchase them in the second color. Thanks, Zappos!

Great boot. It's shaft height is perfect for my not so tall legs. I can't stand when my boots knock my knees when I walk. These don't do that.

Beautiful black boots that truly rival my 2 pair of Fryes. So comfy and quiet- love the rubber soles. I usually wear between an 8.5 and 9, depending on the maker of shoe. I bumped up to a 9 in these Timberlands just so I could wear thick socks. Perfect!

Love these boots. They are comfortable and keep the elements at bay. These will hold up to a lot of hard use thanks to the slightly thicker, non-skid soles.

Best boots ever! First day out of the box I was on my feet for 14 hours and they felt great. 2nd pair as I bought these last fall in black and every time I wear them I get compliments. Love them. Wish they had grey!

I love these boots! I got them last winter, they are so stylish and go with everything I got them in the brown and want in black this year. I have a co-worker that actually purchased a pair I thought just like mine but no NOT at all, her's are a knock off brand "too bad" cause she is really missing out on the comfort and quality of the real thing!

Ordered these boots after returning the Earthkeepers Bethel tall boots (because they felt flimsy). This boot is the real deal! Full grain leather, sturdy, but stylish. Not the girly type, but that's exactly what I was looking for after Timberland discontinued my all-time favorite boot, that I re-ordered several times over the years, put through "boot-camp", and wore to shreds. I like the detail on the buckle and back strap. Pity that they changed the sole design to not having real tread, though. Why would they do that and reduce traction? Anyway, very nice boot apart from the missing tread. Look forward to wearing it in properly over the next few days. Another great thing: Zappos, I have to say your shipping process is just amazing! I ordered these boots Wednesday evening, with free standard (4-5 days) shipping, and had them delivered at my home on Thursday morning! 14 hours after I placed the order! I have no clue how you do it, guys, but this was impressive! Thank you!

After spending several hours shopping at department stores lookingfor a quality, comfortable,stylish boot I was ready to give up. Zappos came to the rescue! I was able to narrow The category down to my parameters. I'm not the easiest person to fit so I was hesistant but knew I could easily return if I had too. These are the most comfy, well made boots. The leather is supple yet substantial. They fit me and I am a happy shopper.

I love these boots. I had tried them on in black in Nordstrom but they did not have the brown ones in my size which were the ones I wanted. They are comfy, stylish and look great with skinny jeans and probably even a skirt or a maxi. Not warm for winter so I wear them with a nice warm sock.

I was looking for a boot that would be comfortable to walk in for long stretches and look good with both pants and skirts. I found it! I love this boot and have received tons of compliments too. These boots are definitely on the pricey side, but in this case I really feel that I got my money's worth. I wear these boots nearly every day!

Love these boots. I have a narrow foot as well as skinny calves for wearing a size 10. They fit well enough that they don't slip and with the extra side notching I can wear it on the smallest so they fit my calves. They look great.

Love these boots! Comfortable right away, water resistant walking to and from the car in snow and slush, and good looking. Highly recommend these boots. Great job Zappos on a speedy delivery and price for a well made boot.

These boots are very very comfortable. I have a high arch so often boots cause my feet to get numb. These do not. They also have rubber soles so they are great for winter weather. Less chance of slipping and winding up in an embarrassing position! The leather is not polished so I would not use these in a formal setting. Much more suited for everyday wear.

Wife loved it; fits very well and is comfortable. A checkout lady at Trader Joe's in Princeton (Twiggy) want's a pair just like 'em for her birthday.

Great looking quality boot, but toe box not quite wide enough for my troubled feet so will have to return.

FABULOUS boots! I was browsing for the perfect, black boot with with some detail (not over the top) as I expect to own/wear them for many years. My sister just so happen to be looking for black boots as well and told me about her recent purchase - THESE boots! Our taste is very similar so I ordered them that day. The detail is spot on.. versatile for any occasion. I wear them casually with skinny jeans or Ponte knit leggings - cute, cute, cute. I gave the comfort rating 4 out of 5 stars because they're a bit snug in the shaft until the leather breaks in (quality leather). Overall rating is 5 out of 5 stars! Lastly, Zappos continues to be the best at customer service, delivery and pricing. Hands down - my one stop shop for shoes!

I just received these boots and I love them! For comfort boots, I was not sure if I would like the styling. They are beautiful boots and very comfortable. I wear a 10 and bought a 10W. Also, I have athletic calves and they zip over nicely. I am 5'6", weight 142 pounds and wear size 6 pants.

These are absolutely perfect! I was on the hunt for tall black boots with some design detail that made them stand out from the pack. Oh, and they had to be quality leather, impeccably constructed, and a moderate heel height. These were perfect, right out of the box. Love the sassy suede detailing down the back and the buckle. Both elements give the boot some sass yet totally appropriate for the office, even when worn with a dress. I've gotten so many compliments with these boots and 2 of my friends wound up purchasing the same ones. Love, love, love these! P.S. I'm always a size 8 and these were true to size.

These boots are very nice. Leather is of good quality and the color is beautiful. I wear a size 8 and I found them very true to size. I wanted something that fit pretty snug around the calf of which these do.

LOVE these boots! I'm 5'1 and usually have trouble finding a good pair of boots because I have slightly more muscular calves than normal and short legs. Many boot I try on scrunch too much around the ankle and don't zip up all the way, but these boots were perfect! I normally wear a size 6 and tried these on but it was really really tight on one leg and wouldn't zip all the way up on the other. I bought these boots in a 6.5 so that there's no issue with zipping them up and they fit perfectly. Also, I would recommend buying the leather wax to keep the leather moist and help stretch out the boot just enough so that the boot it perfect. Overall, this is one of the best boots I've purchased!
