I am a 34D/34DD (natural breast, size 6) and have been on the hunt for a high impact sports bra. After many hours of researching sports bra I thought this would be the perfect one and it almost was...almost. It was a good fit and had the compression I was looking for and it was also very easy to put on and take off but there was some lining fabric sticking out around the underwire (almost like a thin padding lining fabric) and the raw edge of it was extremely itchy. As soon as I got the bra on and made a slight movement I thought there were pins sticking me. I removed the bra and upon inspection I saw the lining sticking out. I don't think it was properly trimmed during the sewing process but I was so disappointed I just returned it and my hunt continues.

If you have the old style of the Maia, you may hate these as I do. My older ones do not say BROOKS on them. I assume they were purchased. The band rolls under and the weird design on the side (which you can't see in the photo with her arm down0 just does not make them as "high-impact" as they used to be. Not too many options with underwire an hook closure in the back as I prefer. On the positive side, the gel straps are great.

I have been wearing this style of bra for a few years. I really liked it but then the style changed and every bra I have ordered since then from this line since that has had the underwire come out and poke me. I have followed all care instructions and the only unusual use has been that I've been on crutches for the last 3 months. However I haven't been wearing this bras very often with the crutches. Zappos has been wonderful about returns but I am done with the moving comfort line. This is too bad; I really loved them until the changes.

Loved this bra so much in another color that I ordered it in White; however, the product quality is NOT consistent. After using this one semi-regularly/one a week since April, the wire is now popping out of the side. I never put my bras in the dryer. Always wash them very carefully. It's now July. I have this exact bra in another color and have had that one for almost a year. This one lasted barely four months while the other one is going strong! If not for the wire issue, the support is wonderful. This is a great blend between a sports bra and a t-shirt bra so it's really versatile. Note that it's sketchy to use this one with certain V-neck tops since the material comes up rather high on the breast bone. More like a Cami. Pretty hit or miss quality and quite expensive for such a short period of effective use! Be aware!

I have been using Maia for a long time, since it was available under Moving Comfort brand. It is an excellent bra for those of us who have larger chests. I has never caused me any chafing even in long runs. It's super comfortable, provides great support and keep things in place. I am so glad Brooks makes this bra and I hope it will continue to be available. I am not sure what I will do without it. Brooks stopped producing PureConnect which was my favorite shoe and now I worry that they will stop making this bra which I love. Keeping fingers crossed!

This is THE BEST sports bra I have ever worn. I am a size 36E with a smaller rib cage for my height (6 feet) and this bra fits perfectly. Super supportive, even for running! It has two layers but is also lightweight and cool to wear even in high humidity or hot yoga classes. Fits true to my regular bra size. So thrilled to see Zappos carries this!

This has been my go-to sports bra for a few years now. I never used to run because it was too painful with my 34DD breasts. This bra keeps the girls nicely supported without any bounce and without the dreaded squished down uni-boob situation. Now, I run 3-4 times a week regularly and have run several half marathons. The Maia bra has been my savior! ð???Moving comfort has been acquired by Brooks now but, thankfully, they haven't discontinued or changed this bra (yet).

The BEST bra for major support when exercising. Have been wearing for years...nuthin else!

Best bra ever why can't you make more??? It's the only bra available that's comfortable for big breasted runners. It holds me in, it doesn't squish my boobs together in a tube, and it's breathable. I've tried the other Brooks bras in my size and they literally ruined whole days of my life. Bouncy, squishy, sticky, and brutally uncomfortable. Why can't I order the Maia exactly?? The bra itself gets 5 stars, but Brooks buying up Moving Comfort and then discontinuing their amazing products gets no stars. Make it possible for me to buy a Maia please, stop being prejudiced against big boobs and running shoes.

When will you have the Maia sports bra again? It's the only comfortable bra I could ever find, especially love the gel straps. So comfortable while giving excellent support. I own five of these but I need more. They are still holding up but I lost one and need some new colors. Please?

This has been my favorite sports bra for years because it is really good at its purpose and also comfortable with easily adjustable straps. Please bring it back!! It was a shock to find it no longer available and the new one I tried didn't work.

I agree....please please bring back this bra. The replacement (the one that supposedly holds a phone) does not work for me--at 32G. Not at all. I am a very active runner and tennis player and am imagining going to a seamstress to repair the MAIA bras I have bc nothing else works. I also never write reviews, but really hope more voices will help.

I have been wearing my Maia sports bra for years and it's the only sports bra that works for me. I have a very large bust (36DDD) and it's time for a new bra and I'm so disappointed that this bra has been discontinued. This means I have to go back into stores and try on a million sports bras 99% of which aren't made for women like me and won't fit. What a total waste of time when there's a great solution right there. Glad to see I'm. Or some in this. Come on, Brooks, give us large busted women something decent.

BRING BACK THE MAIA BRA! I cannot believe you discontinued these. It is my one and only well fitting go to bra for running and aerobics! It is exceptional for bustier women.

Why would you buy the brand and then discontinue it???? I have always been a Ghost fan..3-4 pairs a year- but discontinuing a favorite bra of larger breasted women (which I can bet none of the decision makers are!!!) have sealed the deal to move on to Hokas. Bye Brooks!

Please bring back this sports bra. It's been my go-to bra (36DD) for about ten years now and haven't found a better replacement. Don't fix what's not broken. Ideal support, sweat-wicking, and works like a charm. Bring Maia back!

Best bra ever!! I use it for daily wear also. Read the reviews, Brooks!.. if you want happy customers, with no wondering if it will sell. You know for sure, it wasn't a busty girl who made the decision to ditch the Maia! Maia holds you in place and looks good!

True to size. This bra has no padding, so expect show through!

This bra is okay for me (40E) for low or medium impact exercises. For running or something like jumping jacks? Forget it. Still, I have several for circuit training/weight training days and they are comfortable and provide good coverage. Be aware that sizing is inconsistent between colors. I have the black and the asphalt -- the band on the asphalt is an inch longer than the black.

This was way to big. In the cups.

I have worn many Brooks/moving comfort bras. This one is marketed as Medium support and I would have to agree. No way would I wear this bra out running or to a bouncy fitness class. I think I'll stick with the Juno (same brand).

This bra shapes you into a bullet chested woman. It also has straps that adjust but do not even begin to be long enough to fit my torso. Therefore not really adjustable. I have many Moving Comfort bras and have been wearing the previous version of the Maia bra for many years. I have worn Moving Comfort bras since they first came on the market. This underwire change is wrong on so many levels. Uncomfortable. Yanks up in the back. Shapes you into a '50s pin-up girl. This is workout wear people.
