Got recommendation from Backpacker magazine. Better than advertised. New technology gives warmth and some precipitation protection with no heavy bulk. Very light. So impressed bought one for my wife and both in laws for Christmas. fist impression putting it on is warmth. In-law 87 years old and due to lightness and looseness able to work better than encumbered by heavy coat. Loves it. Drawstrings in cavernous pickets another plus.

I got this Jacket for my husband and he loves it, is a very light but warm jacket. Since he is not a Jacket guy this is just the perfect one for him! And of course the great service (shipping) of Zappos VIP is just like no one else! Love Zappos!

Best jacket ever! I have worn it every day. It has been in the high teens this winter and it is perfect. I can still wear it around indoors and not burn up. I bought a large and it easily goes over sweaters. I would normally wear a medium.

I am loving this jacket. It fits true to size. I ordered a small and I am 5'4", 118 pounds. I love the sleeve length. I find it warm enough to go about town. It is very pretty and so comfortable!

Love, love, love this jacket! It is so lightweight, yet it will keep you warm. I can wear it in 30 degree weather and no wind or cold air will get past the down filling. It feels like I am not even wearing a coat. I hate big bulky coats and jackets. This one lets me move about and not feel weighted down. Great product!

OMG finely I found my fave jacket!!! I was really hesitant buying this because of the price and the thinner feeling of it but It's worth every penny i have the hardest time finding jackets that look right on me this one molds to your body and very figure flattering I'm tall and lean small chested looks awesome on me!! Crazy warm to I didn't think it was possible when I took it out of that box to be warm but it's warmer then my thick down Columbia jacket...very please with this purchase and the only issue is I want it in every color now!!!!!! Lol of coarse zappos rocks to have to throw that in there this was m exchange from another north face jacket they made it really simple and fast!!

I purchased this for my daughter who is a sophomore in college. She absolutely loves it. She gets so many compliments on it. It is very lightweight and warm! It folds up into a small pocket so she can put it in her backpack during class/lectures and it comes out like new. She has the black/pink and it is gorgeous. It runs a little slim so we ordered up a size.

Love this jacket. FYI, you can store it by folding it into the left inside pocket! Really great idea, and easy to pack. Cant wait to take it to Alaska this summer!

Love it! Warm and super comfortable. It is lightweight however and easy to pack. The pink color is super attractive and very on trend. I love it with black hat and black houndstooth scarf! I've worn it practically ever day since it arrived and gotten lots of compliments from people just walking by!

This is a great jacket! I was a little nervous when it came in a small box! This little jacket is amazingly warm without the bulk. It is great and worth the price.

I wear it inside the house and out -- it is too light for a winter coat to fight a Chicago winter day-in and day-out, but it gets you through those transitional days. I debated between XS/S. I could've gone either way, but decided on the S so I could put a heavier layer underneath if I wanted too. I am a true size 4 in torso area, about 5'6" and small chested. I have long arms and the jacket could be just a tad lengthy in the arms when not wearing heavy layers underneath.

This jacket has it all! I bought this jacket to go to NY and the Niagara Falls this autumn because the weather was really cold, specially in Buffalo. With this North Face Jacket I was able to be outside many hours and visit a lot of places. The jacket is very comfortable, is super light, ultra thin and also waterproof! What else can you ask for? I was able to squeezed it in it's pocket and carry it on my handbag. Now I will buy one with a hoodie. I think this jacket is perfect for outdoor activities, and not only for sports but also for everyday needs. If you are still thinking about it, just click buy! You will love it as much as I do. I have recommended this jackets to many of my friends.

It does its job as an outer layer. Definitely can't be worn alone on a cold day (below 40 F). But overall, considering how compact the jacket is, and the insulation, I'm happy with it.

Just a delight! The model sits like a glove. It looks very stylish. Excellent quality tailoring. On the chest 90 cm, waist 65, wide shoulders is perfect size S to sit down. These parameters are taken to itself the size XS, a little tight fit. I will take for their size S and my order took my daughter, 15 years old).

OMG, this is so lightweight and so warm! I tried it out this morning in 35 degree temps on my morning mile walk. with only a couple of cotton t-shirt layers on underneath and I was perfectly warm right from the get-go! Even better is that I didn't overheat in it either. As for sizing, I always size up with TNF jackets (or any other outdoor vendor) so that I can layer underneath. The chest and sleeves are a little larger/longer than ideal, but I am able to zip it up without issues over my hips. If this jacket had a double-zipper to accommodate my moderate pear-shape then I could have actually gone with my regular size. This jacket is absolutely perfect for layering under or over! Kudos to TNF and of course Zappos!

I just received this coat today. I used the sizing chart provided and ended up ordering a size smaller than normal. It fits perfectly!

The jacket is extremely light and the color is great (pink). I ordered a large according to the measurements and it is just very big through out the waist area and chest. Great jacket, but had to return.

This product is well worth your money. I live in an area that has extremely cold winters, and this jacket keeps me warm. This jacket is light weight, easy to pack, and is a great insulator. I am able to comfortably fit sweatshirts under this jacket as needed. I am extremely satisfied with this product and recommend it.
