I love this shoe! I originally purchased a size 39 as I typically wear a size 8.5 or 9, but that was too short. The width was perfect. However, I couldn't have my toes hanging out the little peep hole, so I ordered a 40 and it is perfect. The shoes are very comfortable and I can walk in them all day. It really does not feel as if you are wearing a heel at all.

Absolutely in love with these shoes, so cute on. I wear a size 8 and these fit true to size. The leather feels a bit stiff at first but wont take long to break in.

Just received these sandals today, and wore them right out of the box. I was worried that they might be too tight or small, after reading the reviews, however they may be the perfect sandal! Comfort, style and will go with everything. Highly recommend Swedish Hasbeens.

I've been wanting a pair of these for years. I finally decided it was time, and I'm not disappointed. There is something nostalgic about these shoes, and I just love them. I am usually a 7 1/2 in a boot or shoe, but in a sandal I normally wear a 7, so these seem true to size. My feet are not technically narrow, but these seem to run on the narrow side (I've worn size 37 genuine wood Swedish clogs for many years, and I'm Swedish so the more narrow widths suit me) so if you have a very wide foot, you may find them snug. I've only worn them on my carpet, and so far have not found any discomfort from the leather upper. These actually feel like there is no heel elevation, so they will be comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I like them so much that I purchased this shoe in the sky high height, so now my wardrobe is covered ;) If I find down the road these shoes become uncomfortable, I'll surely update my review.

I ordered this shoe to replace my Kork Ease sandals which after wearing for 7 or 8 years, wore out. I wear a 9 1/2 and the 40 fits perfect. Yes it does run narrow, but narrow works for me. This shoe has a cute vintage appeal and a nice girly shape. I think I'm in love!

Love these sandals! Great style and comfortable. They fit perfectly (but I have very narrow feet).

It's my first pair of Hasbeens. I ordered the natural and the black and went with the black. I have mid-wide feet, not much of an arch, and these surprisingly fit fine. I am walking around in them at home to break them in a bit although it's probably not necessary. The leather is a little stiff and I'm concerned the toe area might rub a bit. I am normally a 6/5 - 7 and I have the 36 and they fit perfectly. On a side note, the video of this shoe has an error in it - the model is wearing the Peep Toe High on one foot and the other foot is wearing the Peep Toe Super High.

These are comfortable right out of the box. I had no real breaking in period as I wore them to work, out shopping and around the house with no issues. I did treat the natural leather with olive oil to help it resist staining. I'm very happy with these shoes and will not hesitate to try other Swedish Hasbeens styles.

I have narrowish feet, but like room to wiggle toes. I wear a 39N in regular Dansko clogs. I often size down in heels and in strappy shoes. Otherwise, my skinny feet slide around (but sizing down makes my pinkie toe angry). I got these in a 37 and they are perfect. My toes come all the way up to the front, but they don't curl over the edge or ooze out in that yucky way. The red is true red. Not too orange, not too brown, not too pink. The woven design reminds me of a Pilgrim buckle. I am loving then.

These just go with everything. Everything! The wood is pretty soft, way more comfortable than I would have thought, but then again I have pretty high arches. The perfect width and height. Leather starts to look better as it ages - it's pretty bright at first, but then settles more into a British tan color once you get them a little dirty.

I bought these during the Nordstrom Rack end of season sale, and I was really hesitant to purchase them because I read a lot of reviews saying they ran narrow. Right out of the box I LOVED the style and could tell they were VERY well made. When I first put them on I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were a little tight but nothing unbearable (I have wide feet, so I'm used to most shoes being a tad narrow for me), however instead of just putting them on like that and breaking them in by just wearing them a few days and risking blisters, I dampened the inside of the shoe with a wet towel and then wore them around the house for a couple hours with socks on. The next day I wore them to work (in retail, walked over 4 miles) and didn't have any issues with blisters or rubbing. Obviously the ball and heel of my feet were VERY tired afterwards because I was walking on wooden soles, but wore them the rest of the weekend for walking just a couple hours at a time and did not have ANY issues with them! I'm saving up now to buy a t-strap version in sky high for fall!!

I have problem feet; plantar fasciitis and bunions. These were super comfortable. Would recommend. Also, the light color darkens over time and develops a lovely patina.

LOVE. Have gotten so many compliments already. The red is just beautiful. Very cute shoe overall. I wear mine with everything from work clothes (teacher) to cutoffs on the weekend. Planning to wear these traveling this summer and I think they'll be good. I'm usually a 40, but needed a 41. Comfortable right out of the box. Heel height is just right for me.

I have been eyeing this shoe for a while, and I am so happy I finally went for it! I am a true 7.5 and ordered the 38s. I don't find them too uncomfortable, although the leather is pretty stiff upon first wear. These are the perfect height and will be very cute to wear this summer! Would definitely recommend.

Great pair of shoes. Quality is great and they are more comfortable than I anticipated. I have picky feet that seem to hurt somewhere in most shoes, but with these I'm pain free. The leather is soft and pliable so they work with my sensitivity while being very stylish.

I love these shoes! They hurt a wee bit initially, but after using a little Shoe Stretch they feel great now. I feel sexy in them. So cute with jeans. I'm going to treat myself to another pair!

I love these sandals. My feet look awkward in everything because I have a huge big toe but these are like magic slippers in wooden clog sandal form. I got the black ones and they are perfect. I love the shape and the way they make my feet look dainty. They really are the perfect shoes. I do not get what everyone is talking about in terms of size, though. I ordered a size smaller than I usually get because from past experience with their boots I feel like they run a bit big. I am a 7 and I had to get a 6 in both the boots and the peep toe highs. I do not have narrow feet either. Who knows, maybe it is my freakishly large big toe that gives me the perception that I am a size 7 when I am actually a 6. Anyway I got these as a gift, but they are pricy, but worth every penny. I am so glad that I have them.

Love this shoe! FYI: I typically wear size 10 (41), and have an average width foot with high instep. I love fashionable, quirky shoes, but refuse to wear anything that is uncomfortable for the sake of style. I've tried other Swedish Hasbeens, but unfortunately the toe straps barely covered my pinky toes, which rubbed them in a very uncomfortable and awkward way. Not these! This shoe fit beautifully right out of the box. A bit scratchy for sure, but softened right up. I'm thrilled to have another great pair of shoes that will get better with time. Dansko and Chie Mihara have been my go-to shoes for style, comfort and long lasting quality, but now I can add Swedish Hasbeens to my list of options!

I usually wear a 10 1/2 and ordered the 11. They fit perfect. I used olive oil to treat them, but they still got spotted with water in a light rain storm. They are beautiful shoes and go with everything from jeans to skirts.

Just received my first pair of Swedish Hasbeens from Zappos and I love them! I had never heard of this brand before and was looking for something else on Zappos and these shoes came up. After reading all of the reviews and seeing the Peep Toe on sale I decided to get a pair in Red. I ordered a size 9(39) and was afraid it wouldn't fit but they do. I have pins in the 4th & 5th toes on both of my feet and these shoes are very comfortable! I have more than enough room and width to where the shoes don't aggravate my toes and that is the most important thing! I was afraid the leather would be stiff and hard as some reviews stated but the leather is very soft and I can wear the shoes right out of the box, don't need to break them in! I will be getting myself another pair of these! Can't wait to wear them!

I've tried other Swedish Hasbeens shoes (Braided High and Covered High) and these ones fit and felt the best. I've read reviews in other places that the shoes take a while to break in, and that they would feel uncomfortable right out of the box, but with these ones, they were super comfortable right out of the box. I wore them right away for several hours and there were no issues. If you've had problems with how Swedish Hasbeens have fit you, I would recommend trying a different style. I love how they look and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they fit. Love them!

This is a great shoe. It's super cute and looks a bit clunky without a foot in it, but it's great on. The wooden sole takes a day or so to adjust to, and I did get some little stick-on gel pads to dampen the impact -- but I'm not sure if they made a difference or I just adjusted my walk. I get a ton of compliments on this shoe. True to size.

This is really cute and comfortable! I am very impressed how comfortable this feels. It looks much better than Dansko. Love the style and the quality is very high. I got it in a day. Zappos is the best!
