I went into a Madewell and tried these on before purchasing them in the color (and better sale price) that I wanted on Zappos. I am normally a 38 and a tight squeeze into a 38 at that. When I tried them on, it turns out I was a very comfortable 37 in SH and I never wear size 7 shoes... ever. Size 7-1/2 at minimum. So, they do run big. The sales lady told me your foot is supposed to fill the whole shoe and toes should be at the top because the leather will stretch. I ended up purchasing them in the "Natural" color... the hard leather. While they do squeak when you walk because of the leather (haha) and I found that they were a little tight at the get go but after only a few hours of wear they had already stretched. But even though they were tight at the beginning, they were still comfortable from first try-on. NO blisters for me after a full night of wear. The height of the Peep-Toe Super high is just perfect. The green color is a really soft nubuck (again Madewell) and are supposed to be more malleable... perhaps those don't squeak like the black or natural ones do. It's just enough of a heel to be super flattering but low enough to be super comfortable and will not impede your walk. I tried on the lower SH clogs and I actually think that those are harder to walk in because your foot is almost flat and you have to rock the foot across the ground as you walk. In the higher shoes/ clogs, your foot is already at the right angle so it feels less awkward... kind of hard to explain but I hope you understand what I'm saying. I feel bad for the reviewer who said her clogs gave her crazy blisters... perhaps she ordered them too big? I don't know but I'm really happy with my Swedish Hasbeens and in the future will consider buying more. They are really comfortable for me. And just super cute and retro! Highly recommend as long as you get the right size!

I just purchased these cute clogs. I forked over quite a bit of money, and I thought I was purchasing the perfect summer shoes. I was reading about them all over blogs, and they forget to mention one huge fact. They are the most uncomfortable shoes that I have ever owned. Hard leather. I had six blisters with the first wear. I am trying to wear socks around the house with them to break them in. I researched how to break in these clogs, and I am not the only one sad and uncomfortable. Some say it takes over a year to break them in. Boo!

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and stylish. The leather is stiff and they fit tight upon arrival, but after wearing, the leather has molded to my foot. I bet it continues to soften over time. I am sometimes a 9 and sometimes 9 1/2, but I purchased a 9 and it fits perfectly since the leather has stretched and relaxed a little. I have a normal width foot.

Love them! Super cute. As described. As others have stated - takes a few "wears" to break in the leather, but otherwise color ages beautifully and a great shoe.

These were my favorite sandals this entire past summer. I measured the length of my foot to get just the right size and they fit perfectly right away. Other styles and heel heights have not worked for me. These were the most comfortable.

I thought I'd share another viewpoint. I ran a foot study for many years, and know that my left foot is a true 9M and my right a true 9.5M, US sizing. My right foot is 10 1/8" in length and my left is 10". I bought the size 39 and they are completely comfortable from the first time wearing them. I experienced no rubbing or squeaking - this is because they are tight, not loose. With these shoes, f you are a half-size, sizing down is probably your best option. For my 1/2 size foot, my toes do come through the peep toe more than the other side (and over the edge of the wood slightly in front) but I'm confident that this will ease over time as the back strap breaks in and becomes looser. Just my two cents - I love the shoes and will now be ordering more pairs in different colors. These are not as uncomfortable as everyone says they are!

I love this shoe though the back heel strap falls and will not tighten with the side strap. I bought a pair a 6 P.M. and had to return them because of the heel strap. They had no more left so I ordered a pair from Amazon and the same thing happened. I have the Savannahs and they fit fine. The yellow is so vibrant and I love the shoe except can't wear it.

I absolutely love the Peep Toe Super High sandals. I have been looking at these sandals for 2 years trying to convince myself to pay such a large amount of money for a pair of summer sandals. Well, I finally purchased a pair in nature size 40. I was afraid I'd have to break the leather in, but they were extremely comfortable right out of the box. I really do love them. They are comfortable and they look great. I'm over 40 years old and they are not too casual or dressy. I think the heel height is perfect also. I'm going to rub some olive oil into them like the directions say which will give the leather a better look and allow the leather better resistance to dirt and water. I like these so much I'm ready to order two more pairs in red and yellow. I'm glad I bought them.

I have a pair of these shoes in a sage green suede and absolutely love them. They do not look like they would be great for walking, and I do have to walk a little slower in them than in other shoes, but I have definitely worn them days when I walked miles over the course of the day, out shopping and strolling and my feet feel great. The sued is very soft and doesn't rub and I like that the ankle strap is one piece - again no rubbing. If the heel gets scuff marks just give it a light sanding.

Let me first say, these beauties needed a breaking in period because I'm not young, and I have tender toe joints. I made my teenage daughter wear them around the house for a day, and she loves them (young feet)! After she did this, I love them too. Like most Swedish clogs, the leather is thick, which gives them wonderful longevity … but it does mean a breaking in period for feet like mine (which are only average width). I got the red, and many people comment on how cute and sexy they are! Nothing beats a solid wood sole and footbed for comfort in my opinion, and these are no exception. I will pay a lot for shoes, but I still think a clog sandal like this should price closer to $150. This is a great line--I hope they continue to make trendy, urban styles like this one.

My new favorite shoes. Exactly as pictured and described. These shoes are super cute and super comfy! I absolutely love them. I wear a size US 7 and the 37 fit me perfectly.

I am an 8.5 and was puzzled as to what size I should purchase. I have narrow, slender feet and went with the 38 in cognac nubuck. Really happy I ordered the 38's, they fit perfectly. So if you are in-between sizes with narrow feet, go the half size down. The toe area needs a little stretching but other than that they are comfortable out of the box. Love these sandals, they are so flattering and go with everything I own. I ordered a second pair in black immediately after I received them.

Lovely, beautiful shoe. Very fun color. They were surprisingly comfortable right out of the box, but I only wore them around the house. Sadly, I decided not keep them because the height makes them feel too dressy, and I'm looking for an everyday, slightly dressy, wood-soled sandal. Will try the Peep Toe High next, when there's a pair available in my size.

Beautiful and super nice craftsmanship. I'm a solid 9 but after a couple tries, I ended up getting the 40/size 10.

I was super excited to find these on sale. I'm a 7 1/2 typically and due to the reviews was planning on ordering a 37, however there were none left in red, which was MUST! So, I ordered the 38s. I was so sad that they were too big. The front/toe area felt fine, but the ankle strap was too loose and buckling them tighter just made it pinch the front of my ankle while the back continued to gape. They are so retro-cute, I was scheming on how to pad them up when randomly I clicked on the 37s in my wish list and there was "1 left"!!! I ordered them immediately on a Thursday evening and they were on my porch the next day! The length is perfect. The toe area is a bit tight on me, but not too tight (I have a wide toe area) and I'm sure that quality leather will stretch/break-in, they already have a little after prancing around my house admiring my feet. Back go the 38s. I highly recommend them for a surprisingly comfortable retro sandal, but order down if you are between sizes! (And the "super high" heel does not feel very high at all.)

At first, the shoes seemed very narrow at the opening but they fit perfectly! Just walked around the house in them and felt very comfortable. Love the red!

These are beautiful! And quite comfy right out of the box. They fit very well, and the leather is soft yet strong, and although the wood soles are loud, these shoes are fairly lightweight and easy to walk in (considering the height). I was surprised at how sturdy they feel even though they have a much taller heel than what I normally wear. Unfortunately, I'm going to return them because their height makes them feel kind of fancy, and I'm looking for something casual. I'll wait for the Peep Toe High to come out in black or grey, since the Super High is just too high for me.

A very comfortable clog. Heel is the perfect height and the peep toe doesn't squish the toes like some peep toes. The leather is beautiful and thick. A good clog for narrow feet, too, which can be hard to find. I love Swedish Hasbeens; totally worth the price.

These are extremely sturdy and delightfully stylish. They give a retro look to bell bottoms, a modem one to skinnies, a feminine one to skirts and are deliciously laid back with dresses. This is the summer equivalent to a good pair of boots and I am very happy I bought these sandals. Beware: it sizes a bit small.

These shoes make me so happy! I was surprised how extremely comfortable the wooden footbed is -- I live in the city and do a lot of walking. It took a few days to get used to the front ankle strap, but that's probably because I don't have any other shoes with that. I just bought Hasbeens ankle boots so I can keep wearing these sexy shoes year-round. I have a high arch and and my foot is wide at the toes.

Love these shoes! I haven't had any problem breaking them in...get tons of compliments every time I wear them. Worth the price.

Love these shoes! The leather around the peep toe and ankle strap need the tiniest bit of softening, and you will notice that right off when you put them on. Wearing them for just two or three hours for the first time did the trick. And oh, the compliments I get! Please note: I have a narrow foot, so I ordered my usual size, 37 (I wear a 7 or 7.5 typically) and they fit well.

Zappos had the best price and quickest shipping for this trendy sandal. I've been wearing them almost constantly since I received them. They are very stiff and a little squeaky at first but soften up and develop a deeper color as they are broken in. I love them.

These shoes can be worn for the office or for a casual day. I like the fact that they are a peep toe since I am not real fond of my toes but wanted something for the summer days.
