This shoe has a great sole, is waterproof, and still looks right with business clothes, whether dress or casual. Perfect for a New England winter day (or just a rainy one) when you have a meeting out of the office.

I bought this last year Black and for the 1st time found a Great Comfort and support Shoe. Really comfortable and gives good support for long distance walking and also casual look. A great value purchase. Intend to get a DK Brown.

These shoes are really great for long days on your feet. I have owned these shoes for approx. 3 years and they are still looking new.

I haven't found the same style, but I have bought several of these shoes in both black and brown. If I could find more, I would buy them. I just need to know where I can get them properly re-heeled. These are definitely the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

I simply love those shoes!!!! I have a black pair and a brown pair that i wear depending on the color of my pants. I am a wedding photographer and on a wedding day, i am on my feet for a period longer than 12 hours.. I can wear those Rockport all day long, and my feet don't hurt and i don't feel tired. They look great ( kind of professional looking), and the best part is the Adiprene feature!!! So great for the feet. It is like wearing sneakers, that how good they feel on my feet. Those shoes have also "tasted" the salt water of the Florida beaches, as well as the water of Lake Champlain in Vermont...and they still look awesome ( provided that i did clean them in the evening). I have worn those shoes at all my 2013 weddings everywhere from Key West to Maine ( i can say that those shoes have travelled) I really recommend them!!!!

Comfortable, stylish, affordable, and durable; what more can you ask for from a pair of shoes? The Rockport Essential Details are great quality at a reasonable price. Sure, you can buy another pair that looks similar at discount store, if you are lucky. Why would you? You will have to buy 3-4 more pairs before the Rockport ones start showing signs of wear. They are built to last. Don't sacrifice quality, go with Rockport.

I only buy Rockports, they feel great straight out of the box. These are a little harder than other slip ons, they do require some break in time. I wish they were made in America.

Luckily I ordered half size up with W to wear with socks. Comfortably fit but with a little tight on the top - near the tongue and where the lace would be. Hope this will goes away after break in.

The shoe itself was made with care and arrived to me with the utmost quality and care I expected from Rockport. However, this shoe did not fit my feet as quickly as the essential s ii did so I sent it back. If my feet were a little more narrow, this shoe would've been perfect

This is a great show for casual or dress. They hold up great to wet weather. I only wish they would come in brown.

These are the second pair of this model I have owned. The first pair wore well and were comfortable so I saw no reason to change.
