I have warn the Tyler lace up boot(s) for about 8 years now. Never had a problem other than one pair had a defect in the inner lining. They replaced them for free. I get about 4 months out of a pair but I am on my feet most of the day on construction sites. Please never discontinue!!

There is a scene from a great show where the protagonist meets up with his nemesis after a long hiatus. The nemesis comments that our hero looks good, that he's "looking like a lawman." Indeed he does. He's a taciturn, shoot first, code of honor, Gary Cooper type character, and the way he dresses perfectly encapsulates that persona. I bought these boots a few weeks ago and every time I wear them out I feel like they're not only the perfect fit for my feet, but my personality. Comfortable, unpretentious, slightly worn, still looking good, and still capable of kicking something. I didn't want a pair of boots that would reflect some kind of fashion, I wanted a pair that would reflect me. These do that perfectly. If your sensibility is simple, classic, and timeless, then I wouldn't look anywhere else.

This is my first pair of Frye brand boots. I love them so much! I got these and can't stop looking at them. I'm in love thank you! Also, fantastic customer service.

First pair of Frye's. Boots look great in person, distressing on the leather adds character right out of the box. Fit a little narrow but after about a week have already loosened up and conformed to my foot. Very comfortable and high quality as you would expect from a good pair of leather boots. Would recommend ordering a half size smaller than your normal athletic shoe size. Would buy again 10 out of 10 times!

Bought these through a flagship store in Boston over the phone a week ago. Had them practically the next day. Gal I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and nice. The boots, love them. Soft right out of the box. Was skeptical after reading other reviews regarding the width of the shoe saying it ran more on the narrow side but I have no complaints. I wear a normal D width. Their true to size, I wear a 10.5, and the 10.5 fit perfectly. The distressed look is awesome yet still classy looking. Their also light in weight which is nice, not a heavy shoe. Look great with jeans! My third pair of Fryes. Love them!

Just got my m class license and decided to give these a shot. LOVE THEM!!!! Had them for a month and can't stop wearing them. I went to a shoe store to measure my exact size. My foot is a bit narrow so I ordered half a size down and they fit perfectly!! They were comfortable right out of the box. They're great and I definitely plan on ordering in brown!

Great Boot. Very comfortable first wearing. Disappointed the stonewashed distressing is not as distressed as pictured. A little expensive since I justified the cost for the stonewashed effect. With that said, it's still a very good boot and I am happy with my purchase. i do recommend you own a pair. Can't wait until motorcycle season.

Worth every penny. Super comfortable & durable for everyday wear. I was nervous about spending this much money on boots but they are so worth it. I wear them everyday now.

Best boots out there for what I do! I work in roofing as a consultant/salesman so I need something versatile, but still professional. These boots are great for meeting new clients and for hopping up on a roof in the same day. Typically I wear a 9, but I ordered a 8.5. They were snug at first, but perfect after I broke them in. The rubber on the bottom of the sole did wear out, but that's expected. Looking for a professional boot but able to take a beating....get the Tyler's.
