These boots are AMAZING. I'm short and always need a good heel. HOWEVER, I also want to be comfortable. Yes, a tall order (hehehe...). These boots are incredible! Their construction is incredibly high quality, stylish, great leather, well-balanced, and you get the great heel without the usual pain. I could totally wear these boots walking around all day and not be hobbling by dinner. Icing on the cake is they go with everything in my closet. Did I mention I bought these boots in redwood and came back for the black? Two pairs of these babies are better than one because they are THAT great.

First Frye Boot I've ever bought and I'm definitely not disappointed. Cute boot that can be worn with jeans or dressier pants for the office. I have gotten many compliments on these shoes! Only gripe is there is not cushioning in the footbed. I will definitely buy more Frye boots in the near future!

I received these today for a Christmas gift. One of the boots was made very poorly--the leather was rippled in more than one place. I then looked at the interior tag and found out where they were made. Sigh. They are going back. I'm really disappointed. Why is Frye outsourcing to that country? Why are they outsourcing at all? And for this price, they should be made in USA.

This is my first pair of Fryes and I love them! They are comfortable and work well dressy or casual. Great fit, a bit stiff but I imagine they will break in.

These are so beautiful...color is great. They are comfortable for the heel height. I just feel complete when I put them on. Worth the money!

These boots are gorgeous and comfortable--like you could wear them on a walking trip right out of the box. I am a very solid 9 and I'm sending them back for an 8.5. They feel like they run a little big.

I got these on sale at Nordstrom Rack! These are literally the cutest booties ever made, and so comfortable. I wore them for eight hours yesterday right out of the gate and my feet never got sore. They did rub my ankles, but I was wearing low socks. I highly recommend them.

These are THE boots. Chic and certain to really be the ultimate accessory. They are very well made and the heel is a nice thickness to help with comfort. I was a little worried that they were too high, but after walking around in them and seeing how great they look with EVERYTHING, I changed my mind. You just feel good when you wear these.

Although I do not usually wear a boot with such a high heel (approx 3") as this, I have to say this boot is remarkably comfortable. I wanted a higher heel to wear for the holidays but also to wear for casual clothing. This boot looks terrific with leggings, skinny jeans, a skirt, a dress... or anything!

Open the box and smell that upscale leather. Very nice, quality boot. Leather feels like calf skin. Nice stacked heel, kind of a suede look. Buckle is functional. You can, add more holes & cinch in if you have small ankles like me. True to size & comfortable right out of box. You will not be disappointed!

They are nice and classy. Fit well in width and length - there's plenty of room for your toes. Purchased 10M. Instantly comfortably to walk in, unlike other high-heeled ankle boots. I think it all depends on the look you are trying to achieve - classy or mod (trendy)? that will help you to make the final decision. They do look like they should last for a long time with good care. Worth the sales price.

I bought the Frye Patty Riding Boots in redwood, perfect color for fall and winter. Very well made. These pictures don't do the boots justice, they are beautiful! The boots are imported; however, the quality of these boots compares to my other Frye boots which as always is very good.

This is a good classic style bootie with the perfect heel height that works for jeans or dressier looks. Very versatile and well made. This boot has a timeless look and is worth the investment.

These are the perfect winter boots, especially if you live in a warmer climate like I do and cannot really get away with wearing taller boots. I have never gotten so many compliments and they are roomy and very comfortable.

These boots feel great, walk great and look great! I am a pretty solid 6 1/2 in any boot but had to order this in a 6 because I forgot higher end boots like Frye, Born and others, run about 1/2 to 1 size big. These have the expected great quality of my other Frye boots. Love!

Love Love Love these boots! They are perfect for the season, super trendy, they fit like a glove and the leather is top (top!) quality. I wear an 8 1/2 and have had to go up a size in other Frye boots but not so with these little beauties. Wear them with pride - EVERYONE is going to want to know where you go them!

This boot looks awesome. I have tried on with skirts and tights and it's perfect. Would also work with super skinny jeans. The bottom is rubberized, but heel is stacked leather. I love the zip up and it felt pretty comfy for a higher heel boot. Felt very true to size for me.

Just got these boots yesterday and they are wonderful! Comfortable right out of the box, the leather is soft. Can't wait to wear them.

I have 6 pairs of Frye boots and specifically wanted a black mid-healed boot to wear to work. I ordered these and was not disappointed in the style - in fact was even more impressed. I loved how they were so chic. Ultimately I ended up returning them due to comfort. 3 and 1/4 inch heels used to be no problem - but for some reason these felt a bit high for me and there is zero footbed cushion. That is true of all my Frye boots - but in this case I specifically wanted an "all day" boot and the heel height + no cushion made me worry I'd be avoiding walking around at work because my feet hurt. With unlimited budget or if I wanted a "date night" shoe - this is 1000% it. For all day at work - probably a pass. For sizing, I wear a 10 in Frye boots and then use a boot stretcher for stretching the instep. Here I definitely needed an 11.

I own three other pair of Frye boots and all three are very comfortable but this pair was so tight through the toe area. I tried going up a half size but then they were just too big in the heel. Sadly I couldn't keep this boot which is too bad because it is so cute!

I love the look of these boots. It's really hard to find boots with just the right amount of styling and not too much embellishment. Sole is not cushioned so not that comfortable out of the box. I hope they get more comfy because I love the way they look.

Beautiful bootie and good quality BUT my feet are screaming in agony after standing in these for more than an hour. NO padding in footbed. If I was to add an insert they'd be too tight because they're already almost too tight. Never had much luck with Frye. :( *But my feet look like fat duck feet so that's probably why!

I bought these as a gift. The shoe box itself was very beat up and had been returned by at least one other person because they left some sort of gel padding in the left boot. The right boot is defective with ripples in the leather. I am very disappointed as this was as Christmas gift for my spouse. They are otherwise nice looking. I am not impressed.

The heel area is very roomy. Caused my foot to slip forward & get squashed in the very narrow toe box.
