I have 4 other pairs of Frye boots, and these were the easiest to break in. The leather was so soft to begin with - and I didn't get blisters as I did with other Frye boots. I got the grey color - and they are beautiful. The 2 inch heel is so perfect because they are comfortable to wear and low enough that they don't feel like a heel. The only problem I've found with them is that the front part of the sole got scuffed- and underneath the brown it turned much lighter with wear - and I have only had them for a month. Other than that they are great -- but it seems that they shouldn't look so worn already (it's not like I drag my feet while I walk).

Very snug fit. I would have probably gone up an entire size had I kept them. I didn't love the look (kind of witchy!) and it just wasn't what I wanted style wise. However, the craftsmanship and leather were on point, as usual.

These were so tiny! I usually wear a 7.5 but could barely get my foot into these. They're very narrow! I would order at least a half size up. With that said, the leather is gorgeous. They're very well made.

I wore through the soles in 6 months -- they're really thin. I sent them back to Frye (not Zappos, though I'd bought from Zappos), and they sent me a brand new pair! I think the sole is a bit different, more tough. We'll see how they hold up. Otherwise the boots could not be more wonderful. I had to order up a whole size for both length and width.

These are probably the least true-to-size shoes I've bought in years -- I think of myself as a 7.5, and recently have bought 7s sometimes, due to size inflation. I kept the 6.5 of this boot and if a wide version were available, I'd probably try a 6W. They're that long. I initially thought they'd be too snug over my high instep, but I completely removed the laces and relaced them from scratch with the laces pointing up instead of down through the holes, while my foot was in the shoe, and that made them fit fine. I walk everywhere (usually 5 miles a day) and was impressed at how comfortable these were out of the gate. They're not cushiony, just solidly made.

I ordered the grey boots and it's more brown than grey (which is fine). My feet are pretty average, not too narrow, not too wide (more on the narrow side). I got a size 8, my usual size for flats, but dang these boots were hard to pull on! It's super tight! Usually boots make my feet look gigantic, but these make me look like I have petite feet! I have to return these and try 8.5 or 9. I have a bunion so my feet are not forgiving to tight shoes. Hope the bigger sizes fare better because I want it to go with my steampunk costume for Halloween (and also for everyday wear)!

So cute, but sadly my bunion-feet are too wide for it. I wish they were a touch wider. I love them and they made me feel like a superhero (with too tight shoes).

This Frye boot is made from a buttery soft leather...I found the zipper and shoelace combination a bit tedious and not v. practical. Lovely looking boot, but just not for me.

So cute! BUT I could barely get my foot in my normal size 38. An orthotic definitely won't fit. I might try sizing up. But for the price it needs to fit great!

The style of the boot is great but it is incredibly narrow. I simply could not get my foot in even with the laces loosened.
