More flexible soles than I remember from Tevas purchases many years back. Suits my purposes for casual wear but would not describe as a good hiking sandal. Straps in the longer side for someone with narrow feet but able to adjust enough. Of note, back heel strap is not adjustable

I love these shoes, if walking longer distances the strap around my toes gets a little uncomfortable, but overall great sandals!

usually I wear a 8 1/2 but the 8 fits perfect. I have narrow feet and the adjustable straps make the fit perfect.

I wish it had a better padding, sometimes it gets uncomfortable BUT it is not terrible. There's just room for improvement!

Since these only come in half sizes, my experience was that it is better to order a size down (for example, I normally wear a 6.5, so a size 6 fit me best).

the foot bed is comfortable, and the plastic round piece near the toes hurts like crazy, very disappointed.

This lower end/base model of Teva just isn't what it used to be!! I owned a pair that I bought in 2005 (before they were cool, lol) and they lasted me 10 years until I sadly lost them. Wore them on many serious hikes, took them with me on my travels, etc, and they always held up in terms of comfort, traction, and durability. But now, the traction on this model is basically the equivalent of a flip flop you'd wear to the pool, and the comfort/sizing has gone downhill as well. I am a solid size 8.5 (women's) with regular-width feet. The size 9 was for sure too large, so I went with with the size 8, but it's just ever so slightly too small, with my heels and toes right up against each end. Normally this wouldn't be an issue for sandals, but the front strap over my toes sits too far back on my foot, so the plastic loop thing rubs/digs into my foot near my pinky toe. This actually isn't too much of a problem for just regular walking, or very short easy hikes, but I have worn these on a few longer hikes and it leaves me with bad blisters :-( Since these are so lightweight, they're great for any water activities that require some foot protection, but beware that the traction is terrible so they won't help you on slippery rocks! I am going to upgrade to the Hurricane model for future hikes. I still love the look and basic function of these Tevas, but just am bummed that $50 gets you such mediocre quality these days.

I like teva products but did not see the sandals I got years ago that fit. On these the straps were too short so couldn't close. Some older women have different size feet as we age and I would still like to get teva as they are long wearing. Could you make a size for older feet that can secure with longer straps? Some of us have some swelling too so would still like sandals that fit. I still used the ones I got..,.for a gift.

Since there are no half sizes, the next size up is too long, unfortunately.

I like the sandals a lot. The problem is that the back strap is too long for my foot, and doesn't support my foot from slipping too far off the shoe in the back. But if my foot was wider, I have narrow feet, then I think the back strap would be tighter. I would like to see these with an adjustable back strap. I would probably repurchase these, if I can have them adjusted at the shoe repair. These are nice shoes, well made, I just need a narrow shoe, but am not sure teva makes shoes for narrow feet.

The straps around the toes hit in a weird spot causing long time wear to become uncomfortable.

I really wanted to like these. I was looking for something water friendly for the summer, but these weren't very comfortable. The plastic where the straps meet was rubbing my pinky toes. I returned them.

Cute and comfortable, but if you need support don't buy these. A flipflop with straps.

I think it can be a great sandal for others, but the arch was too high and it was uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable because the inner sole is rough, and after awhile feels sort of like sand paper. I wish I personally had spent more because I really am satisfied with the W Hurricane that I bought at the same time.

I wanted an outdoor, warm weather shoe. This might have worked for size, but the textured insole made it uncomfortable to walk in.

I love Teva sandals but this Original line is uncomfortable because of the rough inside of the sole.

I've had Tevas for years and I just bought a new pair this spring. After wearing them only a couple times the layers of the sole started to separate. I returned them for another pair and unfortunately the same thing happened again. I'm very disappointed with the downgrade in quality, as they used to be very comfortable sandals for everything from hiking to a night out

I bought 2 pairs of Teva universal sandals many years ago. I loved them and wore them a lot, not just for rafting. It was time to replace the remaining pair. What a disappointment that the "original universal" sandals differed from mine. The sole is quite a bit thinner, with a slightly different arch. These new ones are so uncomfortable after walking for a few minutes at home that I have already sent them back for a refund, Obviously, they are not the original ones. Misleading advertising, for sure. Your thicker soled ones have a slight heel and look most uncomfortable for me.

I love these sandals, but with that said, they do not hold up. I haven’t even taken them in the water or on hikes yet, and they’re already unraveling in the toe area. The top of the sandal is peeling off. Really stinks because they’re so comfortable and cute. They should cost $25-30 tops if they won’t hold up longer than a couple months. $50 for sandals that diminish so quickly is crazy!

The style is colorful and cute. However, the inner sole of this style is textured and is quite uncomfortable on my foot. I also have the "original" between the toes style has a smoothers surface and is much more comfortable.

I have worn TEVA sandals for years. This particular sandal does not have a good sole. It's too stiff and uncomfortable.

I really like the sandals except that the design of the foot pad really feels like it is designed to torture the bottoms of my feet. Very uncomfortable.
