The shoes were great. I though getting a discount for signing up was nice. I got my discount towards these and then got some on clearance didn't get the right size so I had to return. I didn't get a discount besides the sale price on the second pair but they still took a percentage of the discount even though I never got the discount on those shoes. It was only a few dollars but how wrong is that. Common sense to check how much I paid for them and send me the exact amount. Any bigger amount I would be bugging them about it.

1) Upon opening the box I noticed the soles of the sandal were misaligned.
2) theyre not a true fit, order .5 size larger if you get a pair
3) the plastic keepers rub your feet, especially your ankle bone
4) sandals are supposed to be waterproof, but after wearing them twice in my dogs pools, they have started splitting down the inside seam... could have to do with the soles already misaligned
5) have already 'molded' to my foot, toes and heel curl upwards
6) have already worn the heel in.
As a 135lb girl who wore them in my backyard for a week, these 'superb' sandals should not have this type of wear and break down.

Hi I purchased these sandals for my son. They were too big and he wasn't crazy about the overall style

My daughter is usually a true size 8, but she has a narrow foot. This size 8 was much too big for her, in length. I have ordered the 7 to see if this might fit better.

My right big toe has a massive blister. They are fine overall but I'm obviously not a satisfied customer.

Unfortunately this sandal did not work for me. I use them casually to walk my dog and go grocery shopping, however, there is so much slippage and no grip. I have slid twice with this sandal on while walking downhill and that has never happened to me with other sandals before. If you're looking for a casual sandal, this is not it.

I bought my pair in May and have used them a handful of times. The sole split apart and it appears the glue came undone. :(

Sad to give them a single star on overall rating, here is why... They are not quite like the original Teva's of 20 years ago, but I liked them, until I had them for a year and one shoe just fell apart! I didn't wear them much, as I prefer to go barefoot around the property, but they're are comfy if I have to go out in public. At least they were until they fell apart, the layers of soles just separated on one foot! Soooooo disappointed!!! Guess I'll have to wear my 20 year old Tevas, with the better arch support, until they disintegrate, sure am glad I saved them! I'd like to send a photo, but my internet service isn't good enough.

The color and the pattern are the only good thing about these Tevas. I've owned many pairs and this one is not good. It feels as though the quality has gone downhill, the bed is thin, the traction is not good, and it's too wide for my (wide) foot. I would have sent it back but I threw away the packaging and wore them right away on the first day because all of my other Tevas Have always been great. Not this pair.

I had high expectations, but these fell far short. Very easy to trip with these as the soles can't be secured tight against the foot. At 70, I am not willing g to risk a fall. It was difficult to ascertain which style to purchase from the descriptions which were all about the design variety of the straps? I needed a firm sole that could be adjusted For a secure future. Sadly, I will be returning this pair.

I love the colors. I purchased my first pair of Teva's in the late '90's and am still wearing them. Super comfortable, durable, and fit great.. However, the Origial Universal's, p/n 1003987, I just purchased do not appear to have the same quality to which I am accustomed from TEVA. Two problems with this new pair. First, they are pretty wide (I have a B width foot) and they won't 'snug down' enough for me to feel comfortable. Second, and most important, where the three straps meet in a triangle over my little toes, the straps and triangle dig into my foot, and caused a blister. The older Teva's I own have a padding under that area so there is no pressure or discomfort.
I have another pair of TEVA's on order and if they have the same issues, I will return them. I would return my order 1003987 but have already worn them. Guess I'll learn to put a Band-Aid on my feet. .

I have purchased 3 pair of Original Universal over the last few years. Loved the first 2. Returned the 3rd recent pair due to the following: In comparing the new ones to my previous pair I discovered the back strap where it is attached to the shoe has been moved back a little bit and the sole is flat and is not cupped to help hold my feet on the shoe so my feet slide off the back of the shoe when I walk. I tried adjusting the front strap and the strap around my ankle but it had no effect. It is not wearable for very long before my foot is 1/2" off the back of the shoe. Very disappointed as I loved my previous pairs and I loved the color on this one.

I read that I should order one size up if I wore a half size. I did, and they were huge. Returned them and ordered one size down. Again, they were too big for me to wear; I wound up giving them to my adult son to wear. I wear a 9.5 running shoe. Size 9 Tevas is way too big, size 10 was huge. I could only return them once, so I am very disappointed. I used to wear Tevas all the time, twenty years ago and was delighted to find them again, but the size was way off.

I love Teva sandals and it pains me to have to write this review. But I don't like how these do not have an adjustable back strap. Even though these are true to size, the lack of back adjustment makes for an uneven fit, as my feet tend to slide back, if at all wet, and leave enough room in front to make the sandals awkward for walking, let alone wearing for a whole day. With all that being said, I would recommend possibly trying a half size down, since the unadjustable back leaves enough room in front that it's possibly a hazard. Honestly I wouldn't get these again and I'm disappointed, since in general I love my Teva sandals and own multiple different pairs.
Refer to the image and note how far back my heel is on the sandal.

When I received these Tevas I was so excited - they seemed perfect in every way. Unfortunately after less than a month and about 7 wears, the layers of rubber that make up the sole have completely de-laminated. The shoes are close to being completely peeled apart. Do not invest in these shoes unless you're willing to risk them disintegrating within less than a month. Very disappointing.

This summer I've been romping in and out of rivers all through out the NW unfortunately every time I'm swimming with the sandals on the Velcro at my toes comes undone! Extremely annoying. Luckily I've now got duct tape holding them shut. I feel pretty cheated by these new sandals and wish I purchased something else.
This is my first time giving a review and am really bummed about this product.

Because they are labeled Original, I thought they'd be much like the ones I bought and loved 15 or so years ago. Nope. The only thing that's the same is the style. The real originals had nice solid, hard soles. The new ones are soft. I'm disappointed Teva has joined the apparent shoe industry shift to shoes with very soft soles. For those of us who need firm soles, Teva now has to be marked off the go-to list. :-(

The sandal started to split at the base after less than 7-10 wears. I tried to exchange my sandals, as this would qualify under manufacturer defect, and the sandals are still under warranty, and I have only had them for 4-5 months. The customer support has given me the run-around, and the last email I sent has gone ignored and unanswered. Very disappointed with Teva, their quality of shoe, and the customer support.
I DO NOT recommend this company or this product.

I couldn't wear them for more than an hour. They gave my pinky toes incredibly terrible blisters and pain. I had heard wonderful things about them, so I figured I would try them. Never again. I wish I could return them but I doubt they'll take them back since I wore them out.

Wow, in person these look like and feel like drug store flip flops with a cheap top strap. $50? I would offer $15, maybe.
