Returning these because the strap is too far back on the foot such that the toes are not 'strapped in' well enough. Afraid I am going to catch front edge on something and trip since the bottom is quite flexible and not stiff like some Teva bottoms.

I miss some of the features on my old sandle. The heel strap adjustment and the instep strap had a tab to make it easier to adjust.

bought a new pair of Teva's as my last pair that I first used rafting the Grand Canyon are now some nearly 30 years old and did not want them to fail hiking in Greece this fall. The fit and constuction from the sole up make these seem like poor second cousins to my originals. So much so I am thinking of using the originals for the trip.

I love Teva, and am wearing them now. But these rubbed and I could tell they wouldn't work on the trail.

Nice sandles. I was sorry to have had to return them. A couple of years ago I broke my small toe. The strap crossed at exactly the point where the bone was broken, causing a great deal of discomfort.

Great and comfy but no matter what they fart when I walk. The sound is annoying, I don't wear them in public really.

I wear these sandals everyday. I chose this design because I wanted the extra support strap so that my heel wouldn't step out of the sandal. Sometimes I walk 1-2 hours in them and my feet start to hurt. I really like the strap pattern I think that it makes this sandal unique and even though the sole is thick, I think they would feel more comfortable walking if they had a higher arch and feet shape grooves.

Seems like a perfectly good sandal. The straps are a bit scratchy, and I have very tender feet so the footbed was too hard for me so I returned them.

They look great but they are painfull after about an hour to where. They rub and I've gotten blisters. They also hurt the bridge of my foot pretty bad after about an hour. I would probably return and get a bit smaller size but I've already used them once or twice so by the time I figured out they are a bit to big and uncomfortable it was to late.

Although I like them and all they seem a bit flimsy. My last Teva's lasted 8 years! These might not last me 1. Just seems like you've started making them differently ( or I got the wrong type?) . I went hiking in my last shoes a lot but these are more for short trips and easy activities. I hope they last me awhile but I doubt they will. Still a great looking shoe though.

I got these spur of the moment for a raft trip over Memorial weekend. I love the super easy style, I pretty much wore them all weekend because they went with everything I put on. However, I found that comfort kind of escaped me when I needed to tighten the straps for the actual rafting. My poor pinky toes got the worst of it. I also found the sole a little bit more slippery than I expected them to be, on the foot side not on the bottom.

I wear the Teva original sandals almost every day. They are comfortable and not bulky so work well with casual wear. However I had to get the new Tevas because the old ones were causing soles of my feet to turn black when I wore them. Concerned that in week one can already see lighter footprint on the shoes so may soon find myself in same situation.

I wanted so badly for these to work. Unfortunately, I'm a half size and neither full-size fit my foot properly. I also found the textured footbed to be quite abrasive against my sole.

I bought this because the actual original Teva was super durable, comfortable, versatile and the first "zero drop" sandal before there was such a thing. What was disappointing was to find that this so-called "original" has a much less stiff and hard footbed (which I liked) and is too squishy, causing the foot to roll around too much.

I bought my first pair of Teva sandals in 2005. They finally gave out last year (2016). They were my favorite walking shoes and while I never wore them for serious hiking, I always took them camping or used them for long walks in the city (with at least 4-5 walks every week).
The straps on these new ones are still very sturdy, and they are very comfortable. But I am a little worried about durability. The soles don't feel like they will make it 11 years, or even 5. I do also trip sometimes on the toe (which I don't do in, say, my flip-flops) which makes me wonder if a half size smaller would have been better, but the width and fit of the straps are perfect, so... maybe not. They do also sometimes squeak loudly under my foot in a way that drives me to distraction.
All that said, I like them and I wear them on evening walks or low-intensity hikes. And maybe the soles will turn out to be sturdier than they seem.

These are hecka cool sandals but their ability to hold up is questionable. This is my second pair and I got them a few weeks ago and the sole and the insole (if that's what you call it) are already separating. Also the straps have started to fray.

I love the sandals. I wear it all the time but it does hurt my little toe. Even though it hurts my toes, I like the style and it can be really comfortable too.

The toe strap needs to be a little longer for proper adjusting- the plastic triangular fixture rubs and chafes the little toes. If it is adjusted for proper comfort, the strap is only doubled over on half of the area that it covers, thus presenting a quite awkward look and feel. Hopefully with a little wear, this issue will resolve, and maybe the toe strap will be able to be tightened comfortably. I've worn Teva sandals off and on over the last 20 plus years. I noticed that the heel strap is sewn down where it used to be adjustable with Velcro like the other adjustable parts of the shoe. I miss this. The footbed and the ankle straps are perfect, plenty of play for adjusting without feeling or looking awkward. Hopefully after a few weeks of wear, the above issues will resolve themselves.

This particular Teva in the purple is nice, however, I purchased the same style in blue and it did not run true to size; it was actually almost 1/2 smaller. It's a anyone's guess as far as size is concerned. Pay a little more for an upgrade and you shouldn't be disappointed.

I bought these shoes 6 months ago, and within the first week of wearing them, the sole on the heel began to come off. Since then, there are several places on both soles where the bottom layer is separating from the rest of the shoe. I'm sure it can be fixed with shoe glue, but for what I paid for these shoes, I shouldn't have had this problem so soon. Other than that, the shoes are comfortable and great for walking. I never got blisters or anything even when they were new. I have noticed that they are beginning to smell.

I spent a long time trying to decide which pair of Tevas to order. I am a woman but really liked this men's pattern so I tried on the size in store and decided to go with them. I love the look of the sandals and they are very comfortable- I didn't have any trouble breaking them in. However I have worn them < 10 times and the fabric pattern started to fray very quickly- very disappointing! I conferred with my other friends who have Tevas and they are surprised and have recommended that I return them- this shouldn't be happening so quickly or at all.

I've had my old pair for 20 years and they are still pretty good but I've glued the soul back together a couple of times. Finally ordered s new pair. I really like it he color but I was disappointed that the footbed wasn't contoured for support.

Very supportive shoes that are incredibly comfortable, but the straps chafe on my pinky toes after less than 30 minutes of casual wear. This causes blisters if worn for longer than an hour of just casual use.

I ordered from teva.com cause I didn't know my size and thought they would have the easiest returns if I bought wrong. Nope. It's been 10 days and I'm only just being notified that they are in TRANSIT to the return center. And I live in the same state! Who knows how long it will take to process and send me an exchange. Now I have to go on my trip without them, so disappointed. If you are unsure size UP and order from somewhere else if you need them fast
