I bought these sandals thinking they would compare to my chaco's that I adore everything about aside from the weight. My intention was buying a sandal that would be lighter and have a similar feel (solid platform, straps that allow my feet to be free yet keep them on the shoe, capable of doing up to class 3 scrambles/hikes/approaches) but I'm now thinking I purchased the wrong model for what I need. The shoes themselves are fine. Solid construction, nice color and RIDICULOUSLY light. Like really, I hardly feel these things on my feet! So that is definitely my favorite part. However, I would essentially call these flip-flops with slightly better straps. So far, riding my bike, walking around town, and through my local park are just about as much adventure as I'd feel comfortable doing with these strapped on. Definitely no more than class 1 approaches. Slippery, don't keep your feet on the shoe solidly especially once you get sweaty, and the platform itself is so thin you can feel rocks and goatheads and thorns through them. Straight to the soul! -- ahem, I mean sole. If you're going to be headed for an easily accessible river, a straight-off-the-road crag, or simply want to walk around town without flossing your big toes with wretched flip-flops, these would be great! I'd be down to try the models that look a little more heavy duty, but for now, I'm going to cinch up my chaco's and head for the crag.

I'm a size 10 foot. No doubt about it. I often clip the front of the sandal on the ground; and pull the Velcro beyond the sandals to sandals to make them fit. I would order down a size!

I love the way they look and feel. My only concern is the size... I'm typically and 8 1/2, the 9 seems ok. I think the 8 would be too small, but I wanted to compare the 2 to see which size is more comfy. Haven't been able to find one to compare for size. Wish you guys had half sizes! Do people typically round up for fit?

I usually have a hard time determining what size to get. The Zappos customer service was great in facilitating me getting the correct sized sandal. I ended up ordering these in a 5, true to size (which translates to about a 7 in Nike women's sneakers for me, a 4.5 in kids adidas sizes, a 7 in asics). The shoes are a bit different, kinda quirky, and at first hard to match with a lot. There aren't many pictures online of possible outfits, but I've found that it can be a very neutral shoe since it's brown/tan/burnt orange color. I wear these with solid colored neutral outfits (black, navy, white, olive, etc) and very simple patterns with rompers, shift dresses, linen pants/shorts, jean shorts... The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars for comfort is that they start to hurt for me around my pinky toe if I walk 4+ miles in them for the day. Not many shoes have the plastic piece in the pinky side, but maybe this is something I would get used to. I have only worn them three times so far. However, I do appreciate the arch support while walking such long distances, which is not something you find in fashion sandals often.

These are super comfortable. I've worn them hiking and just walking around campus, and I love them. I did get blisters for the first couple of wears, but take care of your feet and they'll callus up nicely!

Great pattern. I wish the top strap was a bit closer to the toes. Super comfortable even though. Will but again.

I've tried other shoes for paddling and water sports, but the Tevas somehow seem to fit my narrow feet better. The others just won't tighten in the correct places to feel firm on my feet once wet. I do think the pair I purchased many years ago were of a slightly better quality, particularly the tread. I hope that's not my imagination and that these last just as long as my last pair!

So I've worn my sandals twice now and both times were to go out and run some errands. They did great both times! I love the fact that they're stylish enough to wear out and about, yet practical enough to wear while gardening or working out in the yard. My little toe rubbed on the strap a little bit the first time I wore them. The second time around, I didn't have any problems at all. Overall, I will definitely be buying more Teva's!

I have only worn these shoes once and that was at a Music Festival. I noticed that they kept my feet/legs less tired during the 10+ miles I walked that day compared to my vans. The only let down is that I did get a blister almost right away on my right toe from rubbing. Tried to cover it with bandaids but how the shoe moves with your foot, it kept coming off. I do hope this goes away once I wear them more.

I usually wear between a 7 to an 8, half sizes are a big deal for my because an I hurt left my foot about a half size shorter. I went with the 8 and it fits one foot fine and the other sits a little further back. They both feel very secure on my feet.

I love the fit and how easily I can dress them up or down. However, the plastic triangle on the outside of the shoe digs into my ankle bone.

Awesome product. Ordered a size too big. Returned shoes to exchange in November and the exchange still isn't back at my house. Also don't like how the sizing chart shows 1/2 sizes and to order you only have full sizes.

Like that the toe strap is pretty far back and allows toes to spread freely. Footbed seem comfy. Straps are a little abrasive, but I hope my feet will get used to that.

Bought these right before I took off for Kathmandu and have had them on all day every day since. They are so comfy and fit over socks on long flights then are comfortable to walk around all day long.

I use my Tevas outdoors, for sporting events, or even casual strolls. They are quite comfortable. My only complaints are that the plastic rubs my right foot causing some chaffing, and that the straps are a little bit bigger and an adjustment with that would go a long ways as i have so much extra strap hanging over the side of my foot. I should have gone down half a size. But overall it fit very nicely and i enjoy my Tevas!

I love my Tevas and wear them everywhere. 2 small cons: 1. It took a day to break them in because the front strap rubbed on my pinky toe. 2. The ankle strap is kind of long for my foot size. It hangs off the edge. I could cut it but I'm worried the fabric will fray.

Very comfortable to wear, secure on my feet. Stylish web colors which are easy to adjust. Nothing to tie or buckle with the convenience of velcro closure. Only wish there was builtin arch support molded into sole.
