Was disappointed that the sole of the sandal is no longer the same as compared to my older pair of Teva's. My older pair had a more solid sole. This one is like a simple, inexpensive sandal. Very disappointed.

These shoes are great, they're the right combination of comfortable and supportive for long walks. The only reason I'm docking a star is because they wear out kind of quickly given how much I walk in them. Not to say they aren't well made, just that the foam sole wears faster than the rest of the shoe.

These are my first pair of Tevas! I love how comfortable the footbed is and the Vista Aragon color is so vibrant & fun. I've been wearing these for about two months and didn't experience any need for a break-in time, but I have noticed how squeaky the soles can get after walking for a little while. I have been using them in the heat of Austin's summer, so maybe my feet are just extra sweaty right now, but I still sound like a quacking duck with every step I take at some points. I also will echo other reviews and say how I really wish there were adjustable heel straps! Neither of these are dealbreakers and I still am happy with these sandals!

Love my Tevas but disappointed I was unable to purchase in half sizes. Size 11 was a little too small and size 12 a little too big. Went with the 12 and it's workable but an 11.5 definitely would've more ideal.

1. Congratulations to Tevas for consistent sizing over the years across sandals and models.
2. The sandals felt a half-size smaller which is CONSISTENT with my experience wearing several sandal models with many years between purchases. I can order Tevas in a 6 and know the fit will be like a 5.5 in a Clarks sandal.
3. The arch is barely there, but sufficient for my needs.
4. The shoe is rubber, so soles get sweaty fast.
5. The multicolored velcro straps can complement a lot of clothing choices. Much easier to match up with clothes than with an all black or all white sandal.
6. I chose these for everyday wear, mostly walking around my home and short errands. With essentially light use, I expect the sandals will last a long time, or at least long enough that it will make the hefty price acceptable over the long term. In my experience, Tevas wear out with use as opposed to fall apart due to shoddy materials or workmanship.

I love Tevas! I have owned five or six pairs over the past few years and they're almost exclusively the only pair of shoes I wear in the summer. I love them way more than Chacos. But, I am probably not going to buy another pair until you come out with a pair of universals with a brown sole because the black just doesn't look as good. The brown on brown with the moon and stars is the pair that got me into tevas and ever since, the four pairs I've purchased with a black sole have just made me miss the brown sole. I just don't don't like the way the black looks as much as the brown. They don't make my soul sing.

I am a walker at nearby parks. These work well.
I have very narrow feet and had to trim the straps.

These were great! They were comfy standing in and walking. Very adjustable.
I ended up returning them for a few reasons. First, I was comparing them to the hurricane model. The foam feels like after a while it will squish down and be uncomfortable. It feels like you might be able to feel rocks and things through it if you're standing for long periods of time (which was my intention, wanted comfy theme park shoes)
They were mildly supportive. Squishy. And comfy. In the end, they lost out to the Hurricane.

I love Tevas, always have, and will continue to buy more products, but this Original Universal sandal really needs to have an adjustable heel strap! I read many reviews that said the same thing before buying, but I thought "Eh it'll be fine, when have I ever used that strap." But no... this model needs it. I have to keep pushing my foot forward to have it sit comfortably in the foot bed. I would have returned them had my first outing in them not been in the mud and rain...
Still a great shoe though!

I needed a beach shoe that did not collect sand in the toe. I wore through my first pair of strapped on sandals, not Teva brand, so I thought I would try Teva.
I usually wear an 8.5, bought a 9 and they just fit. They are flat, no arch, which I should have seen from the picture. There is no heel adjustment to get a perfect fit.
All this being said, I am getting used to my new Teva sandals. but will have my eyes open for one with an arch.

These shoes break in very easily, which is great from a comfort standpoint, and did not give any blisters even on the first wear. The base of the shoe is not very thick though, so as the shoe has formed to my feet, I am uncertain whether the shoe is going to hold up. I have worn the shoes for 2 months now and they are doing fine so far, but if I were to purchase again, I might go with the mid-form style.

After hearing from a few friends about their love of their Teva sandals, I decided to check them out. I needed something more secure and supportive than a typical flip flop and Teva delivered. The sandals are sturdy without being rigid and versatile enough to wear on many occasions. I only wish I had paid more attention to the sizing which runs a bit large.
