I would live in these shoes if my wife would let me!

My husband tried this sandal, as well as the Hurricane. They both were too short in his size 10, so he tried the 11, which was perfect. But the width was too narrow, though they look pretty wide. He usually wears a EE width in most shoes anyway, and the straps cut into his little toe area. These Universals are adequately soft, with arch contour, just not as thick/soft as the Hurricane.

These sandals keep it simple, which is exactly what I want from my sandals. The sole is basically just a flat cut-out piece of rubber. It doesn't have 20 different hyper-dimensional rubber pieces bonded together, and it doesn't look like a damned spaceship. In a world overrun with marketing hype and vapid feature bloat, the "classic" model gives me a much-needed break from the BS. I recommend them!
