The color and the pattern are the only good thing about these Tevas. I've owned many pairs and this one is not good. It feels as though the quality has gone downhill, the bed is thin, the traction is not good, and it's too wide for my (wide) foot. I would have sent it back but I threw away the packaging and wore them right away on the first day because all of my other Tevas Have always been great. Not this pair.

I had high expectations, but these fell far short. Very easy to trip with these as the soles can't be secured tight against the foot. At 70, I am not willing g to risk a fall. It was difficult to ascertain which style to purchase from the descriptions which were all about the design variety of the straps? I needed a firm sole that could be adjusted For a secure future. Sadly, I will be returning this pair.

I love the colors. I purchased my first pair of Teva's in the late '90's and am still wearing them. Super comfortable, durable, and fit great.. However, the Origial Universal's, p/n 1003987, I just purchased do not appear to have the same quality to which I am accustomed from TEVA. Two problems with this new pair. First, they are pretty wide (I have a B width foot) and they won't 'snug down' enough for me to feel comfortable. Second, and most important, where the three straps meet in a triangle over my little toes, the straps and triangle dig into my foot, and caused a blister. The older Teva's I own have a padding under that area so there is no pressure or discomfort.
I have another pair of TEVA's on order and if they have the same issues, I will return them. I would return my order 1003987 but have already worn them. Guess I'll learn to put a Band-Aid on my feet. .

I have purchased 3 pair of Original Universal over the last few years. Loved the first 2. Returned the 3rd recent pair due to the following: In comparing the new ones to my previous pair I discovered the back strap where it is attached to the shoe has been moved back a little bit and the sole is flat and is not cupped to help hold my feet on the shoe so my feet slide off the back of the shoe when I walk. I tried adjusting the front strap and the strap around my ankle but it had no effect. It is not wearable for very long before my foot is 1/2" off the back of the shoe. Very disappointed as I loved my previous pairs and I loved the color on this one.

I read that I should order one size up if I wore a half size. I did, and they were huge. Returned them and ordered one size down. Again, they were too big for me to wear; I wound up giving them to my adult son to wear. I wear a 9.5 running shoe. Size 9 Tevas is way too big, size 10 was huge. I could only return them once, so I am very disappointed. I used to wear Tevas all the time, twenty years ago and was delighted to find them again, but the size was way off.

I love Teva sandals and it pains me to have to write this review. But I don't like how these do not have an adjustable back strap. Even though these are true to size, the lack of back adjustment makes for an uneven fit, as my feet tend to slide back, if at all wet, and leave enough room in front to make the sandals awkward for walking, let alone wearing for a whole day. With all that being said, I would recommend possibly trying a half size down, since the unadjustable back leaves enough room in front that it's possibly a hazard. Honestly I wouldn't get these again and I'm disappointed, since in general I love my Teva sandals and own multiple different pairs.
Refer to the image and note how far back my heel is on the sandal.

I have 3 pair that I love. So comfy. This pair I.am returning.. The soles have a prickly surface that hurts the soles of my feet. So disappointed. Loved the colors.

This summer I've been romping in and out of rivers all through out the NW unfortunately every time I'm swimming with the sandals on the Velcro at my toes comes undone! Extremely annoying. Luckily I've now got duct tape holding them shut. I feel pretty cheated by these new sandals and wish I purchased something else.
This is my first time giving a review and am really bummed about this product.

Because they are labeled Original, I thought they'd be much like the ones I bought and loved 15 or so years ago. Nope. The only thing that's the same is the style. The real originals had nice solid, hard soles. The new ones are soft. I'm disappointed Teva has joined the apparent shoe industry shift to shoes with very soft soles. For those of us who need firm soles, Teva now has to be marked off the go-to list. :-(

The sandal started to split at the base after less than 7-10 wears. I tried to exchange my sandals, as this would qualify under manufacturer defect, and the sandals are still under warranty, and I have only had them for 4-5 months. The customer support has given me the run-around, and the last email I sent has gone ignored and unanswered. Very disappointed with Teva, their quality of shoe, and the customer support.
I DO NOT recommend this company or this product.

I couldn't wear them for more than an hour. They gave my pinky toes incredibly terrible blisters and pain. I had heard wonderful things about them, so I figured I would try them. Never again. I wish I could return them but I doubt they'll take them back since I wore them out.

I purchased these as a replacement for a pair I've had since 1994. While there isnt a lot of change to the shape, the straps are completely different and far too long. They lack the thickness of the previous materials, as well as the pull tabs, and especially are missing the ability to adjust the heel strap. These weren't available in half sizes, so the fit is very different than my original as well. I would pay far more if the matched the quality of the original pair, but these leave me feeling like the are the same as the cheapo imports I can get at a discount store. I'm so, so sad, because I wanted to love them.

The foot bed is rough, the heel strap doesn't adjust to secure my narrow heel, my heel slides sideways in the shoe and the overall quality of the product is poorer than other Teva's that I've owned

I already wrote a very negative review and sent it to you when you asked for feedback so I guess you are illiterate as well as being bad makers of footwear. TO REPEAT - I only bought this last pair because I lost the ones I had had for years which although bought over a decade ago were actually good quality - but the Tevas I got from you recently were a pale
and shoddy shadow of ones I purchased in the past. They feel lighter and less protective - the third rate flip flops I bought in Benin were of higher quality.

I love Tevas, I have 3 pairs. So when the Pride pair came out I was so excited. I bought a pair for myself and my fianc. The sizing was difficult because they are all gender and we both wear a size 9 so that's what I ordered. But apparently they were a little small and we didn't realize there were 2 different kinds to order. Then the soles are really flimsy. They feel like styrofoam. They are not going to last us very long. I paid the same price I paid for my first pair of Tevas and they have lasted me 9 years and still going. I'm just really disappointed.

Ordered these pride Tevas and was sent a pair of black ones. Tried to reach out to the company through phone call, chat, and email and was not able to get in contact with anyone.

I bought these shoes for my daughter in early June. Within a week, while we were walking, the strap that attached the back of the shoe to the front detached. It looked like the stitching was faulty.
I went to the website to fill out a return form, and I was offered the option of getting a replacement. The size that we needed was out of stock, but I was advised that I could order another similar product. The only other rainbow product available in the correct size was white with a thicker sole, but my daughter said that was fine. I placed the order and was told that since the new shoe was more expensive my credit card would be charged for the difference, which is fine.
I printed out the return label and mailed the broken shoes with the required paperwork with a note explaining what had happened. There were no problems at the post office with the label.
We have yet to see a replacement or hear anything back from the company, and it has been roughly three weeks.

The soles on these sandals are flimsy and too flexible. Teva should not put their name on these cheap Payless-quality sandals.

I loved my last pair of basic Teva sandals, which I bought four years ago. They allowed me to hike up mountains of moderate terrain, but these were just a pair of pricey flip-flops. The bottom soles give no support, and it looks like you have to upgrade to the Hurricane model to get the good sole, which also seems like way more money than necessary. So I returned these and was very disappointed.

For reference I typically wear a 7.5 and have an average foot width.
The designs are adorable and I so wish I could wear these, but they just didn't seem to be made for real feet? I read some reviews and decided to try a size 7. When they came the straps were in the right place, but they were just slightly too short and were so narrow the side of my foot was hanging off. I don't even have wide feet! I exchanged for an 8, and they fit in width but the straps were in a funny place and they were a full inch too long. I just returned them. I was thinking about trying other styles, I really love how they look, but after this experience I'm not sure I will. Teva please make shoes for real feet, starting with half sizes!!
