These shoes are very cute, but if you are afraid of falling, as I am, I would not recommend these shoes. The toes are exposed too much and the front part of the sole got easily caught the edge when going up the stairs. I would like to return them but in these days of Covid-19, it is too much bother to go to the post office.

I really like this sandal, and dig the teva patterns, however it does seem like there has been a decrease in quality. I bought this to hike in, but really it would only be good for hiking around town or maybe as a water sandal. I still like them a lot and it looks like teva has some sandals more made for hiking, however it used to be that there was a little more substance to the footbed of all their sandals. Now only a few models would be adequate for real outdoor use.

So I heard the rave about these so wanted to try them out. After trying them I feel like the shoe sole is super comfortable but the plastic triangle that sits near the pinky toe is just hard so it kind of digs into my feet not sure if that's because my feet are wide or anyone else has that problem. I don't think they are the best for my feet but maybe for someone with slimmer feet they would be perfect.

Old TEVAs were flat. These are thinner and have an arch. Not bad, but not as expected. Personally, I have a good arch in my foot, and don't need a lump in my sandal.

I've bought this type of sandal in the past. Quality is much lower than previously. They don't seem as durable. Very disappointed.

I bought these for a gay pride charity, but they are ill-fitting and uncomfortable. I've had Tevas in the past and I didn't have any problems with them. I would have returned these but I wanted the proceeds to go to the charity.

Over all, The quality of the sandals are on point. The reason I give 3 stars is because the sizes seem to run on the larger side. I wear a men's 10 and that's what I bought but they look and feel more like an 11 when I put them on.

I like the sandals a lot. The problem is that the back strap is too long for my foot, and doesn't support my foot from slipping too far off the shoe in the back. But if my foot was wider, I have narrow feet, then I think the back strap would be tighter. I would like to see these with an adjustable back strap. I would probably repurchase these, if I can have them adjusted at the shoe repair. These are nice shoes, well made, I just need a narrow shoe, but am not sure teva makes shoes for narrow feet.

I used these for fishing and loved them. I have EE wide feet and they were comfortable, looked good, felt secure and were easy to take on and off unlike chacos. My only gripe is they didn't last very long. After one summer the fronts straps pulled out from the sole and now they are useless. I want to buy another pair but I'm worried they will just fall apart again.

I have worn them twice and have blisters on both of the outsides of my pinky toes. I'm so sad because otherwise they're comfortable. But I also don't like how they make like a duck quack noise when they get a little wet from foot sweat. We'll see if I can build up a callus! I am optimistic, no shoe is perfect!

After two non consecutive days of low tide walking, my feet were bleeding at several rub spots. Sand and saltwater and Original Universals do not mix. I love the De Stijl aesthetic and I know they'll last a long time - just have to build up the requisite scar tissue.

Fits length of shoes perfect and super cute love it over all but I think my feet must be a tad wider than the average persons bc the straps that are right before the toes are too close for me to where I can't wear consecutive days Bc otherwise I get a burn and tear where it rubs :/

Unfortunately the color combo I ordered for my daughter in May is on backorder until mid July. I know she'll love them when they come as she has another pair.

I am disappointed that the two pair I just purchased are so different than my original pair. The same size, the nw two are longer and wider. The base is not as nice. Seem "cheaper." They are comfortable.

Day one, I already scuffed the toe of them. I thought for the price they would be more sturdy. I don't feel like they'll last too long unfortunately. Super cute though and nice for walking on sidewalks! Wouldn't recommend for trails and outdoorsy people

These are classics. I've owned a pair of teva's for as long as I could remember. When one would ware out, I'd get a new pair. They have been outstanding over time. That being said, the last pair I bought seemed to fall apart a lot quicker than normal. I'm not sure if I got a bad pair or if this is signs of cheaper material. It's hard for me to give less than 5 stars for a sandal I've had my entire life but I feel like I have to because of how quickly this shoe deteriorated. I know I'm hard on my sandals but I expected this last pair to be like my previous pairs.

I have been wearing sandals with toes covered for years. I decided to try the original Tevas sandals but found them not as supportive for vigorous walking and driving. Especially not much arch support. It may be I'm too aware of toes being exposed. I'll keep alternating them to see if I can get used to them. Otherwise good build quality. Too bad I can't choose MAYBE on "recommend to friend".

It has been a few years since I've purchased Teva footwear. I am disappointed after wearing these for a few weeks. Sole seems thin and not overly supportive. Right sandal does not wear straight, the top of my foot is far to the left of the footbed. I don't have this problem with any other sandal or shoe I own. I won't be purchasing again.

I was so excited to receive these in the retro multi color and the color is amazing! However I'm a 7.5 and the seven is to small and my heel is almost hanging over the back. I wish they did half sizes cause the 8 is to big. Would only recommend if you're a whole size.

I agree with another reviewer who said that these sandals need an adjustable back strap. My feet slide too far back in the sandals, especially when walking uphill, so it would be nice to be able to tighten the back strap in order to secure my feet further forward. Other than that, these are nice sandals considering the affordable price. They seem to have pretty good traction on muddy trails and I like that they are fine to get wet.

I am a true 8.5. The 8 was too small (heel hung off back) and the 9 is too big (too much space from toes to end of shoe. The 9s look HUGE on my feet compared to the 8, and there is a lot if space on the sides of my narrow feet. Wishing there were half sizes.

I don't think these sandals are the right shoes for me. I have a narrow foot, and need the back strap to be adjustable as well, to keep my foot from going off the shoe on the back. I'd like to return them, and maybe try a smaller size or a hiking shoe that does have an adjustable heel strap. I'm very disappointed that they don't fit the way I hoped. Nice looking shoes, well made, just don't fit right for me.

This is my second pair of Tevas, but first from the "original" line. The footbed of this sandal is extremely rough, it left painful indentations on the entire bottom of my feet. You must have significant callouses to wear these! Also, I felt that the straps at the heel were too close together so that I was stepping on the anchor point as I walked, also uncomfortable. Finally, despite trying hard to get the right strap adjustment, the plastic triangles just hurt my feet as I walked, rubbing or pressing against my ankle. I tried to sand down the footbed to make them tolerable, but these other issues made these impossible for me to wear. I wanted to make them work really badly because they're super cute and I love my old Tevas with the all fabric straps. Sorry Teva, this sandal doesn't work for someone with sensitive feet.

I have narrow feet, and the shoe would be fine if I could keep my feet from sliding off the back. Maybe if the back strap was also velcro adjustable as are the other two straps. The shoe looks well made, and good quality, just not a good fit for my narrow feet. I'm disappointed, I was looking forward to having a new pair of sandals. I'll keep looking.
