The Tevas are very comfortable for walking.

So look, I like these shoes because they are a very basic sandal that is not particularly eye-catching. That is exactly why I bought them. I love wearing sandals, and I found most of the sandals this year to be downright gaudy and didn't want to buy any of them. I am going to be straight with you: I grew up in the '90s and we used to make fun of Tevas all the time, so I was hesitant about getting these. I take back my words completely, they are a good, basic sandal. These are very versatile for both fashion and function. I can wear them with everything! And I'm not talkin jeans and t-shirt, I am a dress or skirt every day kind of girl, with some shorts and slacks peppered in once in a while. I definitely couldn't wear these anywhere fancy of course (besides the fact that I don't go to any fancy places), but all I'm saying is that they look good with a pretty dress OR hangin out clothes. Also they are really comfortable. The BEST PART is that I can wear them wading through streams or mud when I am walkin around in the woods, they protect my feet, clean up easy, and will dry out fast. I would not hike any serious inclines or distances with these on, though. Anyway, I have ONE gripe, which is that the sole fits my foot perfectly, but sometimes my foot slides back a lot. I dont know if this is an issue with the fit, or how I am walking, or how I am fastening them on though. Also, I got black but sometimes I wish I had gotten the grey or the pretty green color. Okay! This is how I feel about these shoes, review over!

Love this sandal...very comfortable; almost as good as going barefoot! I wear it everywhere...work, play, walking, etc. The sizing information indicated that since my foot is an 8 and 1/2 I should order a size 9, however, I decided to chance it with a size 8 and I'm glad I did. It fits perfectly.

too big, too flat and no support

I was SO excited to get my tevas and I am still so excited to have them. I worked as a camp counselor for a week in Phoenix AZ and wore them for at least 8-10 hours a day. I am not sure if maybe its because my feet were constantly sweaty or because I wore them all day, but the straps rubbed my feet and made some discomfort. I tried loosening them and taking a break from wearing them all the time, but I would love to hear some feedback from others if this happened to anyone. Is this maybe a break in feature and my feet have to get use to them? Overall I think they are so cute and offer much more support compared to just trendy sandals. I hope I can figure out the rubbing on my feet situation. However wearing them for that long all day really made them worth while to have, I love them! I also love that I can wear socks with them when it gets cold!

I use these tevas for work and play. I camp in them I can walk multiple miles in a day with them. They're great for walking out to check on animals in the morning in the wet grass! They are really comfy, my only con to these would be that they are little too wide for my definitely narrow foot.

Super comfortable and cute! I have fairly skinny feet, so the straps are too long and hang off more than I would like.

I love these sandals! They're super comfy and they stay in place on my feet. They're great for hiking and kayaking but also for just hanging out. They're easy to clean and you can wear them with socks when it's chilly. Love them!

Only downfall is your feet shed a lot of dead skin at first, when wearing them....So as long as the dead skin is off the bottom off your feet, you'll be okay!

My only criticism would be please make half sizes. Since I had to go up, I occasionally feel like the extra length will trip me up somewhere.

Nice sandals. But the front strap hurts my foot, unlike other Teva sandals I have owned. It is placed a little higher on the foot. Unfortunately I sent it back.

I love my Tevas. I just got my first pair (in Eiffel Tower size 8) and they're awesome! a little tight and stiff but I can tell they'll get better. I wear a 38 in Birkenstocks and 8 in converse and these fit great. the toe area is kind of large like birks but the foot bed is soooooo comfy! I can't wait to wear them with socks. I only gave it 4 stars because they need breaking in.

I wish it had a better padding, sometimes it gets uncomfortable BUT it is not terrible. There's just room for improvement!

Really comfortable, the straps are not rough after the initial wear. Only problem I have is a slight blistering on the ball of my feet, but that stopped after I wore them a few times. And I worry how long the shoe will hold its shape and continue to be supportive.

I bought these sandals right before my honeymoon because I knew we'd be walking around California a lot. These sandals are some of the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. I like they they had them in black, because it goes with everything.

I use sandals around the water and boat. At my pool, sailboat, kayak, and dinghy. A real boat sole ie Sperry topsiders would be great.

Everything is good except the shipping packing. The box is too large.

Right out of the box I wore them for hours and didn't want to take them off. Took a little but of wearing and fiddling to get the fit just right, but that's what I love, that the fit is adjustable. There's enough arch support to be comfortable but not too much that it hinders certain people from wearing it. I had wanted chacos forever and kept pricing them and finally tried them on and they were heavy, clunky and the narrow too narrow and the wide too big in the heel and not wide where I needed. Then I saw the Teva's but the one with the strap between the toe kept getting the velcro stuck to the fabric. Then I saw these online! Fell in love with the color and had to have them. Thank goodness they were affordable too. Just took them to Hawaii, wore them on rafting and boating excursions, hiking to sweet heart rock, walking around everyday. Only once were they a little slippery and that was in the tide pools with wet rocks covered in plants. Highly recommend these shoes. Color is beautiful, looks a more pink online and lavender in person but I still love the color. Also I got red dirt on them and sand every day and it all rinsed off. Only CON sometimes I don't like the velcro, the sound when taking it off or the fact that it can get caught on some other fabrics.

I have to say that I am very pleased with my Teva Originals. These were my first pair of Tevas as I was hesitant to invest in more $$ sandals. But I have made the right choice in buying these last year. I have light to medium skin color and decided to get the coral colored ones, which go well with everything I have. They aren't too flashy, they're light and flexible, and give me the support I need for my feet! I brought them to Hong Kong last year for 6weeks (super hot and humid) and they were the perfect shoes as my feet tend to swell in hot temperatures! I wore them everyday and also got them wet from hikes, the beach, and the pool. Pro: Great for amusement parks, fairs, concerts, kayaking, short hikes, etc. A Con was that the bottom sole started to slowly separate from the top layer from the walking and wet terrain I've been to. Another Con is that because I have a slim foot, I had to keep the straps a little looser than I would have liked because they start to become too long when i adjust them to my liking, which I don't really mind, but would like it shorter when i do more rigorous walking/hiking. Another con (not really) was that it gave me the weirdest tan lines....but I like my Tevas enough to not mind that! In conclusion, I am looking forward to buying another pair. Probably the Hurricane or the Vera version for my next upgrade as I like the sturdier soles (especially since I tend to always get mine wet). In addition: After I got mine, I convinced my two other friends to get their own...and now we all match!

They're great, but the most annoying part is if the rough side of the Velcro accidentally sticks to the outside of the strap (with the design), it sort of pulls at the threads and frays them.

I really like how my Tevas look. I love the cute pattern! When I purchased these I was hoping for a comfortable shoe with some support for walking long distances. They do not have the arch support I thought they would, but I'm hoping they will break in and form to my foot more as I wear them. They are great for casual wear. I especially like wearing them on hikes that involve crossing water.

Previous pair wore well--hope these wear as long. Too bad I didn't find them in a local store.
