I was prepared to send these back before I ever received them. I'm only 5 feet tall and I was concerned that boots would make my legs look even shorter. I was wrong. These boots are beautiful. The leather is like butter. I've worn these with jeans and with leggings, to work and on the weekend, and other women stop me to say they love my boots and ask where I got them. They were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them to work the day after I got them and the leather got roughed up a bit. But shined them up and put some protectant on them when I got home and they were good as new.

I'm on my second pair of these. I work in ceramic production and am on my feet all day. These are great to clean up and comfortable the first day. My only complaint is that both pairs started to squeak once they breakdown, which is annoying. Comfortable for working and stylish for going out casually. I have walked miles in these shoes- debating if I buy them again or move onto another style. Less one star for the squeaking.

I ordered a 11-B width, but was sent a wide. a 10.5 B would be perfect. I normally wear a 10.

Cute boot and quite comfortable. I like the rather rugged look of the leather and design. They look great with jeans or with any casual pants, tights, leggings. I use inserts in all shoes/boots, and walked on hard pavement all day the first day successfully.

I bought these for my daughter, who normally wears a 7. We had to exchange them for a 7.5, because they were too snug. The 7.5 fits her well, but they were obviously worn quite a bit by someone else and then returned. They didn't have any of the packaging inside or around the shoes that came with the first pair we ordered and they were pretty scuffed up all over the shoes. My daughter likes the look, so we're keeping them. I thought it was weird that no one at Zappos seemed to have quality checked the return before sending it back out to someone else, though.

Received my exchange pair of size 9 bison boots (had ordered 8.5). Sadly they must go back too, the toe room was better, but then the heel was too loose. Also oddly, they seems to be a pair of slightly used boots, a bit darker with some wear lines ans scuffs. Must have been a return someone used a week or two. I called customer service and as always they were awesome and took good care of me! Back to searching for a boot I can love, so sad these weren't the right ones for me!

I looked at a lot of pretty boots and felt the reviews for these sounded the best. When I got these I wasn't sure I liked the look of them. Another reviewer said she was disappointed at first too. I have the old fashioned "gam" type legs and the tops seemed too wide. I usually wear 8.5, but sometimes a 9, so I ordered size 8.5 and they are just a bit too small, so am returning for a size 9. Hope the 9 fits cause the more times I tried them on, the more I started to like them! It's been a long time since I bought a pair of boots just for style and fun, these really seem to be the right ones. Also they are very comfortable! And they look very cute with leggings, which I can tuck in the wide part at the top of the boot! Can't wait to get the exchange pair! So glad zappos has such excellent service!

nice quality shoe. However, it lacked the arch support that I needed for moderately high arch.

I have bought and returned an inordinate number of boots to kick around in and none have worked until these. Most of the boots out there that are cool are too wide in the foot for me, particularly in the heel, but these are perfect. They are comfortable right out of the box. As another reviewer said, they get scuffed up immediately, which could bother some people. It doesn't bother me. I kinda like the look. I wish the heel was leather. It would look more refined, but they are super comfy. The price is great. Pants can go inside the boot, outside or rolled up. When they are on the outside, the boot does stick out a bit, but it's okay.

These boots are well crafted but they were snugger across the toe bed and wider at the heal. I thought that was strange. I wear a size 7 so that's what I bought. I could not have taken a half size up. They would have been too big.

I liked the color but the width was too wide for my narrow feet and the shaft was too wide for my liking as well I slid around in these even with heavy socks.

Great boot for my short legs! Leather does scuff, but I like that look. Not great support, but good enough. Wouldn't go hiking in them, but great for casual wear. Wear with Smart Wool UltraLight socks, but room for heavier socks. Did treat with leather conditioner and made Bison color much richer. Nice style with some detail, but not fussy.

The boot is too loose in the heel for me -- I have narrow ankles. I have gone through plantar fasciitis and need support in the arch and heel. These would only work with a supportive insert. The style is nice with a skinny jean, but there's not enough of interest in the toe to make it look special with trousers.

Love the boots. They are very comfortable to wear all day. Sizing is true.

I was disappointed when I opened the box. The boots aren't as cute as this picture. However, I couldn't be happier with how they fit and feel. I can wear these all day without any discomfort (rare for me). If you are willing to sacrifice looks for comfort, these are your boots!

These boots are beautiful and well made. They don't work for me because I have a narrow heel which means they slip up and down. Otherwise very comfy. Sadly will have to return them.

Really wanted these to work. Mid height and cute. Looking for nice stylish waterproof boots for Ireland and winter in the northeast. These looks great and I bet they break in easily but I can't take the chance as they are really hard/stiff at the ankle and I need something fully functional for light hiking and traversing city streets and castles. Based on reviews, thought this was exactly what I needed. Too bad they're too stiff. Back they go sadly. True to size and they look sharp, so definitely give them a try if you have time to break them in a little.

These boots are cute and comfortable. At first I thought they were a bit too small, so I ordered the larger size. When they came, I realized that the original size fit much better and would stretch just slightly after wearing them. They do scuff very easily, but I don't mind that look.

Teva De La Vina are great boots. Comfortable from the get go. They are very true to their size which is great. And the fact that they are waterproof is a plus. These are my every day boots. Cons: The strap across the boot that hooks to the side sometimes come off the little metal tab, can be annoying.

Very comfortable boots, as a matter of fact I will be wearing these on a trip soon where I will be doing a lot of walking! The only reason they get a 4 star Overall rating is due to the fact that the finish does not stay shiny, it dulls pretty fast, even wearing them in my office all day. I suspect that is due to them being waterproof.

A tad bit narrow and short, but otherwise super comfy. Waterproof leather which is good, and the back panel is suede, FYI.

These are my new favorite boots, I've been wearing them almost every day since I got them. They are comfortable and perfect for the winter. A little stiff at first but just fine once they are broken in. I am usually a 7.5 but I went up to an 8 for these. The downside is that I can only wear skinny jeans or leggings with them. If the jeans are loose around the ankle it doesn't look right with the boots on. Overall, great boots with the right jeans/pants.

Very nice boot...narrow which I liked but very unassuming and I feel like it needs a tad more support. Cuter in brown, the black is very boring.

I had to return these boots twice -- finally gave up, sadly. They seemed to be just what I was looking for: low, black, winter boots. But not enough room for my toes, and I do not have wide feet! I usually wear 6 1/2 , and returned both that and 7. Still searching.

I bought these right before a trip to Europe in December. I did a lot of walking and they were incredibly comfortable the whole time. They also kept my feet warm and dry. Like other reviews, I thought they look good with tights and a skirt or skinny jeans. I haven't had any problems with scuffing. I did have to buy a size bigger than I normally do to get the length right. I have a narrow feet, so they were a little wide on me, but they feel fine if I wear thick socks.
