Got these for my son to wear casually and to school. He really likes them, says they are very comfortable. He says they work great for what he is using them for, but if he had to do a lot of running in them he wouldn't recommend them as he wears the Gel Nimbus for running and track season.

I ordered these shoes for my husband. They look great with jeans or khakis. It is very hard to find comfortable shoes for him because he weighs over 300 pounds! But he says these are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn. Thanks Zappos!

I was looking for a stylish shoe that would give good support and comfort mainly for walking and maybe a little running. I purchased the Asics Gel-Craze because I thought this was not just a running shoe but a cross trainer. I bought the "True Red/Black/White" ones. While I was afraid maybe they would be too "flashy", I really like the way they look -- bright but stylish. Regarding comfort, I'm a bit mixed and am reserving judgment. They initially went on very easily and fit like a glove. They are soft and seemed to fit just right. My only disappointment was that they didn't seem to offer particularly firm support, but almost a slipper feel. Even my KSwiss tennis shoes provide a kind of spring when walking on pavement, where as these do not at all. Nonetheless, the first two times I took a long walk they seemed fine. On the third day by the end of a 20 minute walk I had just a little discomfort in both feet. This was not a blister or anything that was rubbed and I'm not sure why this was the case. I'll give them a couple of days and try again, but if that continues then I clearly would not recommend these. The other thing I'll point out about them is the uppers are a mesh, which is probably great for the summer, but I feel cool air coming in even now in October and I don't think they will be good for any winter walking.

My husband bought these and liked them at first but says they are too flat, not enough support. Go with the Gel-Nimbus, much better choice.

I really wanted to love these shoes, but there was a real durability problem. I owned this pair for 2 months, wore them about 15 times (2 times/week), and only in the gym. However, the sole started to peel from the toe after normal use. I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of quality control. I've used their running shoes for years but I won't be buying their trainers anytime soon.

Had these for one month and the tread on the sole has already worn away. Previous shoes (multiple brands) typically lasted at least 8 months. Will never purchase Asics again.
