As he grows, I have been replacing Nike sneakers a half of size up for my 8 year old. These are my least favorite pair. Within one week of wearing the sneakers to school, the black rubber on the soles started peeling off, making walking difficult. I have had to peel and cut off the rubber pieces fraying from the sole to make them wearable. My daughter commented a friend of hers, who had similar Nikes in pink, had the same exact issue. I do not recommend these sneakers. Poor quality.

These are poor quality. The sewing part at the front started breaking apart in three weeks. We bought three pairs total with similar design all broke in two to three weeks. This type of shoes obviulsy has either design flaw or poor quality control. Otherwise, Nikes should warn the customer that mesh upper material is not suitable for kids or this type of shoes is not for active use.
