This boot is waterproof and very light weight. Fits really well ! If you're looking for a extremely warm boot I would recommend the cold bay boot! But if you're looking for waterproof and light weight comfortable boot for everyday wear in the winter monthes I would recommend this boot.

I've always wanted a pair of duck boots...these boots look high end and stylish and once received, actually exceeded expectations that were very high. They look and feel great. I was worried about the size when I ordered them, thinking perhaps I needed to order a half size larger to accommodate my winter socks [I live in Florida but travel up to the Smokys often]. As it turns out, the boots offer enough extra room for the larger socks ordering to my true size I'm happy to report. They still fit comfortably with normal socks as well. I couldn't be happier. Great design job Sperry!!

Iconic style for the cool, wet months. My feet stayed nice and dry in rain and snow. The fleece lining keeps feet at a comfortable temperature while wearing light cotton socks recently in Michigan (temps in the upper 30s to mid 40s over the past month). Versus the cut of Sperry's boat shoes (slightly narrow medium width), the Avenue Duck has a nice open cut in the toe box so when we finally see more frigid weather, I have good space to throw on cozy wool socks for trudging around outside.

Bought these for my son, and they will be a great boot for the wet, possibly snowy, KY winteR! (Seems like they may run slightly large)

looks great to ME buying for Christmas gift for my Man friend that is an out side kinda man I want his feet dry and comfy. I want him to be happy with his SANta Claus gift and not have to return it.

Gorgeous boot, nice leather upper, fits well. Could be a little more comfortable, especially at front - tops of toes can feel the tough, hard rubber. Tread on soles is excellent in ice and snow.

Great boots- comfortable and warm. I had to purchase two pair because the first pair was tight across the top of my foot but I really liked the style and and overall features- the colors, very lightweight, and I'm a fan of Sperry. Glad I went through with it, second pair fits perfect. They are warm without being hot and foot feels well protected from the element. Lots of rain this time of year in Bay Area so I'm glad to have these.

Was very impressed with the look of the boots when getting them for a Christmas gift. Only negative would be they are not true to size they are about a half size too big.

Sperry has great quality products! The only issue that we have consistently encountered is the sizing runs big which makes it difficult to figure out what size is the best fit.

Nice boot goes with everything very comfortable just not for very cold days and don't have the extra lining for foot warmth but worth the purchase
