Purchase size Small for my 8 year old son. It fits great , will have some room to grow .

My 9 yr old grandson likes this jacket also. It fits more snug (just a little) than the other jacket I bought him but he will have it for 2 seasons also.

Just like the adult version of these jackets -- they're the BEST! Light and easy to wear, yet VERY warm and cozy....well-made...and the value of these based on the price is amazing! I've kept my two kids warm with these now for at least half of their young lives and they prefer to wear their "Columbia jackets" over heavier coats because they're warmer...more comfortable...and like a "warm hug" on a winter day.
