Seriously, this is one of the most comfy jackets I have ever worn. It is lined with that super soft fleece that I love and the exterior material is great at blocking out wind. I purchased mine in the Aegean Blue color which is a lovely shade of teal. This jacket does tend to run a tad small so size up if you intend to wear a sweater beneath it. I normally wear a medium in jackets but returned this one and reordered in a Large. Also, I love the way this jacket is tailoredit has a very straight profile without being one of those baggy looking jackets. I'm really impressed with this one and may even buy it in the black color to wear for more formal occasions.

I had been searching for a warm soft shell jacket for awhile and I could not find one I was satisfied with until I saw the Women's Phurtec II. I was instantly impressed and bought it because it had all the features I was looking for. The fit runs a little small ( for me is a little tight in the arms) but it is comfortable and warm. The jacket is great for snowy and windy and snowy conditions.

Bought this on a whim, first Columbia product ever. Figured it was worth the try. This is very light weight. But it is very warm and comfy. The inside is so soft, and the outside is exactly what it says. Wind proof! Along with water proof. This is over all a great buy and would recommend to anyone! They do run a little small. I purchased a med and normally wear a small in everything. Great product and worth the money!

Definitely follow the reviews and order a size up. I am a medium/large (5'6 154lbs-small boned) in clothing and I ordered a large in this coat, I have other Columbia coats that are waaay bigger larges and north face jackets that are huge in large compared to this, so I'm soooo glad I read reviews and listened and ordered the large rather than my initial plan of medium. The large on me likely won't allow for bulky layers underneath, but in the PNW it's rare to need thick layers under Sherpa lining anyway, so that's fine for me. if you're wanting bulky/thick layers under order two sizes up probably. A large is definitely not a true 12/14, I'd be swimming in it if it were.
The blue coat is gorgeous. It's light yet really warm. Can't wait to start wearing it! It's literally perfection. Stitching, material, all very good quality. Really it's so hard to be disappointed with Columbia coats though.

I took a chance when I ordered this jacket in my normal Columbia size, extra small, and I'm glad I did. Although many of the reviewers said this jacket fit too small, mine fit just right-even with a long sleeve shirt and a thin sweatshirt on underneath (I am very petite; 5 foot and about 100 lbs.). I'm usually not a person who wears a lot of color, but I got the red because I have so much black, and I'm actually really pleased with it! The color is a great deep red color that would pair well with anything.

love the jacket so much but I have to wear a scarf or something that covers my neck because the edging rubs funny and is a little ruff. its that way in the sleeves tol. other then that, I love it!

I'm very pleased with the jacket -- the fit and deep red color are flattering, the quality is good, and it feels pretty warm. I normally wear XS but got size S so I can wear a thicker layer underneath. I'm petite but the arms are not too long.

I ordered this jacket because my cousin let me borrow one of hers when I visited her in Germany, and I absolutely loved it. It is not only beautiful and stylish, but it is warm without it being too big. It keeps true to its word, as it keeps wind out. I had a short sleeve shirt underneath this jacket and felt fine, so maybe for super cold temperatures, a thin, long sleeve would work perfect, too. Features I liked: pockets inside the jacket, zipper pockets outside, and also the fact that you can make the hoddie smaller around your face (I had it so it would cover everything but my eyes), so I couldn't really feel wind on my face. Color is beautiful, too! It does run a little small though, for size reference: I'm 5'3", about 158 lbs and a large fit perfect.

This jacket is so warm, and breaks wind so well, I barely need to wear warm layers under! It is so soft and the deep rust color is beautiful. It is more of a maroon red than the picture shown. I am usually a small or xs in clothes but I ordered a small because of the reviews claiming they ran a tad small, and it fits perfect! (I am 5'3 and 120lbs) Will be wearing this all winter!!

Comfy fleece, very warm on the inside. The fit is tailored and very flattering. I love this jacket on cold, wet days. From humid, chilly winters in the south to blizzards in the north, the jacket has kept me warm through it all!

I'm really petite 5'2 and about 107 pounds and I would highly recommend to buy a side up! I'm usually an xs but ordering a small fit me perfectly! I have extra room and nothing isn't too big on me. Also it's great for hiking I went up to carson to try it out and it was great. you aren't too warm, waterproof but i recommend a rain jacket to take out with you just incase! I got the rustic deep red and it's darker than the picture make it but it's still a really pretty color! great for running around doing errands or going hiking!

I bought this for my 13 yr-old daughter and she loved this jacket the moment she saw it. The size is perfect as described and the texture provides a soft and comfy touch. Honest to say, this is beyond my expectation.

I had a jacket that was almost the same and I was so excited to find this one!!! This jacket fits great and has a nice hour glass shape that is very flattering. I also like that the back comes just a little lower than the front.

I live in the cold MN, it gets chilly here. This jacket was perfectly suitable for the weather we experience. I can feel the wind hitting my face but I can't feel it where my jacket cover me. It is so soft and very mobile.

Love this jacket so much! Its completely lined with fur/sherpa?(not really sure what to call it) Even the complete sleeves, which most jackets never do. Keeps me incredibly warm even in 50 degree weather, i just wear a long sleeve under it. I'm normally a L but since a majority of the reviews said it runs small I'm glad I got the XL but I think this size runs half a size to big

Ordered XS originally but wasn't as long in the front as I would've liked (107 lb, 5'1) Sleeves and width were good though. S fits well with a little room for motion. Purple is deep and rich and adds a little color to the dull of winter. Haven't worn it in the cold, but I bought it intending to use it for a quick thing to throw on when running errands or out for dinner, when I won't be outside long. Longer parkas are for the blustering blizzards of winter but this, with a few layers underneath, should make do for light activity outside when elements are calm. Whenever I buy a nice coat or jacket I feel so fortunate for being privileged enough to fuss over what keeps me warm, and eager to give to those who aren't! 'Tis the season!
