Bought this coat for a trip to Banff and it was perfect! The weather got really cold and the snow was wet. It kept my body dry and warm the entire time. I normally wear a medium in most jackets but I decided on a large since I would be wearing layers. The large was great and was the perfect amount of room for layering.

This was the perfect coat for my trip to Montreal and Quebec during 2 big snowstorms. It is warm and soft, with an extra soft fleece lining in parts. I love the 2 inner pockets. The hood was a life saver. I am usually a small, but knew I was going to be in lots of layers, including thick pants and I'm bit curvy on the bottom so I went with the MED and it was great.

Very comfortable, light and warm! This is a very nice jacket at a bargain end of the season sale price!

I bought my first montreal coat years ago it is still going strong. The best coat ever, its warm, light and durable. Now I bought my second one because I had surgery on my shoulder and wanted a little more room. There are so many beautiful colors unlike years ago I just love how comfortable and lite they are. My whole family wears them, my granddaughters 15 and 17 now, been wearing since they were young. People, dont be afraid to buy you will never stop wearing them once you start. Thank you Marmot for such a comfortable coat.

So this is our second coat purchase. The first was the Montreaux coat. The fit, style, and construction was great. We really love it, always got compliments while wearing the coat. The only reason for a second coat was that I wanted a different color. The Montreal Coat is experiencing lots and I mean lots of loose feathers. My wife's car seat was spotted with the feathers throughout the front seat. I thought, give it a few days until it settles, but no luck, we still have feature exodus from the Montreal Coat. I've contacted Marmot and hope for remedy, time will tell.

This coat is so warm, and the exterior fabric is silky soft. It kept me so warm on a winter trip to the Midwest.

Beautiful coat. Sleeves are short though. Unfortunately, we had to return the coat because of the arms/sleeves.

This is my second Marmot coat and I love it. I was hesitant about the price point, but I have no regrets. Love the light weight and feel of the fleece inside. Don't care for the faux fur trim so I am happy that it is removeable.

The coat is really warm and light weigh. However the color is not the same as pictured on the website. Its more of a creamy yellow than a beige light tan. The look is ok. It just seems more puffy than normal. If the color and look is not an issue, this a a great coat to purchase.

This is my 2nd Montreal coat. The 1st was purchased 5 years ago. The outer material was soft and a true black. This recent one that I purchased is also "black," but the outer material is a crunchier fabric and has a blue tint to it. It is a small disappointment.

Beautiful, lightweight yet warm coat but after one wear in light rain, the coat developed a strong smell of wet dog and I can't wear it.

The coat is very nice and my wife loves it. Very warm and soft. However, shipping took 19 days. I ordered on the 8th and eximated delivery was the 18th. I did not receive it until the 27th.

Coat is warm and comfortable! Sleeve length and shoulder width are good, slightly shorter than I anticipated (barely covers hips). Very fitted (medium is hard to zip if I wear a heavy sweater underneath).

This is a warm and comfortable winter coat. I got it to replace an identical one from Marmot that had worn out after several years. This design is a little less fitted in the waist than the previous model, and the fake fur collar is a bit stiffer. I am 5'6", 110 lb, and got size small, which allows for layering underneath.

Warm and comfortable! Wore on a 16degree day and was very cozy. Went with this coat because Im 52 - just the right length, love the fleece lining. Bought a large because Marmot tends to run a little small, medium might have fit but large leaves enough room for a sweater.

Quality has definitely gone down over the years. 2020 version had magnetic closure in addition to zipper, better material for the outer layer of the coat that was rip-resistant, and fit true to size. However, the new version is lacking in these details (no magnetic closure, easily tearable outer layer, and fits very small). That said, though, the coat is very warm so should protect in colder temperatures (which is why I give it 3/5 stars). I am normally a size small (size 4), but the size small in this coat was too tight especially around the chest. Definitely size up

Wife loves this jacket. She said its warm and perfect for cold weather.

Unfortunately, price does not mean quality. I bought this jacket after reading good online reviews and EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING stains it. I even followed the online directions to clean the jacket and it only gave me NEW stains after. Dont buy this jacket if you want peace of mind you have a clean coat. If you want to chance it, buy black. The jacket is warm and the pockets are nice, hence why I gave 2 stars. Also, be prepared for feathers everywhere, I read this is normal at first, but 2 months in and they still are everywhere.

I had to return as the coat as it was way too big for me. People online stated it ran too small and that they had to size up. If I would've bought my normal size, I would have been fine, but unfortunately my regular size had since sold out.
