Lovely coat - great weight and texture. Sleeves are a little short and ideally the waist would be a little more sinched - but overall very nice

Fantastic buy on past season coat! Its warm in 17 degree weather, long to keep ones bum warmIm a cold weather dogwalker so its great for those days. size M fit great. (I am 58 and 150 lbs.). Well made, hoping to have this coat for years to come.

Warm coat - runs small though! I first bought this coat last winter in blue, size medium. I was about 150 lbs, size 29/8 in pants at the time and while it was a little snug around my pear shaped body/hips, it fit well everywhere else and I still had room in the hips. I am now 157-160 lbs, closer to an 8-10 in pants and the medium is SNUG on my bum/hips. The cost fits perfectly in terms of shoulders and sleeve length, but zipping it is not pretty. I came back to Marmot to but the coat again in a large this time to fit my current frame and it is big. Sleeves are too long by 2-3 inches. Shoulders are wider and the space around my chest is ample (36B bra). It also feels too long. It hits just below my knees and it feels like the waist is too low as well. Again, I am 54. I guess I need a size between the M and L. If you are taller and a 10-12, the large would probably be a perfect fit.

Love, love, love this coat! I got it in white and it's so stylish. The coat is super warm and I was impressed with the little touches. The neck line, cuffs, and inside of pockets use a soft cloth material that is somehow warmer to the touch and a really nice feature. All jackets should line the pockets this way! This is my best purchase in a long time. 10 out of 10!

This is a nice coat and I agree with many of the reviews I've read regarding sizing. I am a petite older woman who weighs less than 95 pounds. I have both an XS and a S in this jacket. The XS is snug thru the chest and shoulders but it fits well if I only wear a base layer or something thin underneath. It's great for walking the dogs in the winter time. I just purchased a size S and it fits over a sweater or fleece top and it does not overwhelm me or look too big on my frame plus it's nice not feeling restricted thru the chest and shoulders. I really like this coat for it's warmth to weight ratio and it looks like a quality product that will hold up well for a number or years.

Love this coat!!! Its warm. And just big enough that I can have layers. I am 56 and 140pds. Size medium was perfect.

I'm 5'8" and have about a 39" bust and 40" hips, so puffy coats (especially long ones) can often just look way too bulky and poofy on me. This coat is SO stylish and comfortable! The baffling/stitching on this coat gives it more shape and interest so it doesn't seem frumpy. I also wanted a hood with faux fur, love that this one's removable too. Pockets have a cozy fleecy lining. I'm SO excited for winter in the Rocky Mountains to arrive so I can snuggle in this coat!

Beautiful coat however the outside material in the chest area does not allow for the inside fleece lining. The result is that while it feels as though it fits, the outside material is snug and looking as though it is stretched. I didnt realize this until I had removed the tags and tried it on with a sweater on underneath. Going up a size would be too big in other areas. I purchased a Large and normally wear a size 8/10.

Good quality but sizing is off in this jacket. I sized up from large to extra large based on reviews. The body was almost too fitted and the sleeves were oddly large.

This is the second Montreaux coat I've purchased; the first was for me, this one is for my mom! It's the softest, warmest jacket I have ever owned. I wear it every day in the winter - it has made walks to the bus stop infinitely more enjoyable, and cold November soccer games bearable :)

I love this coat. It's my second one. Despite reading warnings about the zipper, I bought the first one. Sure enough, the zipper is a bigger. It finally gave up while the rest of the coat survived two winters quite well. The price was great, so I ordered another and was a little disappointed the zipper hadn't been upgraded. I'll see how this one works. The coat is great. Super warm and looks great

The coat is just about perfect. As other reviewers mentioned, it is tighter across the shoulders and chest than other Marmot coats of the same size. That's why the 4 stars instead of 5. If I had gotten a M, it would have been too big everywhere else.

It's very warm and comfy, but I wish the outside material could be a little studier. just two wear (a few hours) i saw some pilling around the wrist area. sorry, have to returned it better size up. i'm 5'3 and 113b. usually xs size. i read the review and order size S. it fits well (can wear sweater under)

Other reviews were helpful warning that the size ran small so I got the large rather than medium--warm and lightweight/cozy/poofy coat, great green color, however the quality of the "faux fur" hood trim is a bit disappointing --good thing it's removable ;)
