This is my second pair of Asics -- and consistent with my previous pair they run half a size small. (I usually order a women's 12, and need a 12.5 in these. I know, I know, I'm basically bigfoot. On the upside, these sneakers don't make my feet look as huge as they are.) This pair of sneakers has more structure/support around the sides/ankle than my previous pair, and the gel sole is pretty firm, but when I jump I can feel a lot of cushioning in there. They feel clunky when I'm sitting around in them, but walking doesn't feel clunky at all. I went with these over the nimbus because I'll use them primarily in the gym/walking as opposed to running, so the structure is helpful. (And also because the coloring is less obnoxious than the nimbus options. Usually I would never pick athletic shoes this way, but since I want to wear them walking around town, the neon pink and purple ones are just a bit too bright.) Only real complaint so far is that they seem to retain a lot of heat.

These shoes are very comfortable with good arch support. It took me awhile to get the lacing just right so they weren't too tight on the top of my foot, but other than that I highly recommend them.

I ordered these in my regular size as well as a half size up based on previous reviews. Going up a half size was a good decision and I will be sending my regular size back. I like the comfort but wish they were more stylish, I got the Grey color and they look a bit like my husband's sneakers. They are functional and reduce my joint pain so I will keep them, just wish they were nicer to look at! I have high arches and when I replace the insole with a Dr Scholl's they felt great.

Love the color, comfort is OK, but not as good as my Asics gel-exalts. Asics, could we please have more NORMAL colors? Not everyone runs in the dark and wants to glow like a neon sign. I LOVE Zappos, you guys rock!

I received excellent help from Zappos on this order. Christina in customer service went well out of her way to get me the right shoes. I have narrow feet with high arches which is difficult to fit. I was at first hesitant about these Asics (and I have worn lots of Asics). On my first mile I was so pleased that these shoes were just about perfect. I have had some Asics that were slightly better in terms of style and gel, but these are almost as good. I would recommend these shoe, and I am really picky about comfort and fit. Thanks, Zappos!

This shoe is very comfortable and has lots of support. The shoe just looks a bit wider from the outside than the Saucony brand that I am use to wearing.

I have used Asics for several years and loved them. When I saw the Zappos price there was no question where I would get them! Their shipping and return policy is so easy!

Pretty true to size. The first two or three times I wore them the rubbed on the back of one foot and caused a blister, but now are broken in and by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. No more knee or shin pain.

Great fit! Fun colors. I wear them to work in my restaurant (50 hours most of them on my feet) and they have held up well.

The orthopedic doctor told me to get shoes with better arch support, so I ordered these. There just wasn't enough arch support for a high quality gym shoe,and they were really too small overall to accommodate my orthotics. I ordered a size up, and my toes were still hitting the front of the shoe. It's too bad, though...the blue was a beautiful color!

I need a really cushy shoe. The Cumulus 13 and 14 were much stiffer, so I am grateful that this series brings back that softer feel. Great arch support. Asics generally runs narrow for me, so I order one width wider than normal.

I LOVE these colors - they are not for the shy! Although I researched the style first before purchasing, I do wish they had more padding as I 'under' pronate and need as much padding as possible.

These shoes are great! As with any new running shoe, they take a little while to grow into, but my feet are already adjusting to them and I'm feeling more and more excited for Spring to come so I can take them outside.

It's a very comfortable shoe just as advertised, just a tad snug. The shoe material is sturdy yet flexible for your foot to move around. I wish I could have gotten it just a half size larger because the running magazines say that you should have about a thumb's width between your toe and shoe edge, but at 13, you can only go to the next size!

These are my tennis shoes, A little jazzy for an 82 year old, but hey, long and narrow shoes are hard too come by and I am noticed!

I get so many compliments on these shoes at the gym. The construction is good and they hold up well in Zumba class. I normally wear a size 7 and ordered a half size bigger to ensure I had enough wiggle room in the toes, although I probably could have gone with a 7 and been fine.

Really cute! But listen to all the reviews about size. Very small. Too narrow even in wide. And too short even sizing up half size. Size up a whole size if you are going here. Seems like a nice cushiony shoe otherwise. I'm not willing to keep trying sizes on this one. Thank you Zappos though for your great service and support.

Absolutely, positively runs SMALL. I compared this shoe with the Nimbus-15 and the Kayano-19 (I ended up keeping the Kayano), and the 9 fit me in both the other styles. Believe reviewers who say to order at least half a size up, even from what you would normally wear in an Asics. I have been wearing Asics for years and have consistently been a 9 until I got this shoe. For the record, I am not a runner, I'm a walker and I'm on my feet on my job all day, so my criteria may not be as exacting as some people's. The Kayano felt best straight out of the box, held my heel well, and had a lot of cushioning, all of which I was looking for.

Poor quality. I had these shoes for less than 4 months before the toe boxes began to tear. I wore these 3-4 times a week for less than 3 hours each time. They are comfortable but for the price and poor quality, I would not recommend these.

I liked this shoe a lot and think it might have worked for me but it runs very small. I ordered up a half size and it was still at least another half size too small - maybe a whole size. Returned and kept the Nike Pegasus 30+ ordered at the same time.

I have seven or more pair of Asics and have loved them all until recently. This particular pair is 3/4 inch SHORTER than the last pair I bought this year. I ordered wide and it is so tight I can't even wear it to walk in. Goin' back...I may have to try other shoes. This has happened three times in the last 1-1/2 years.

Very uncomfortable shoes. Very disappointed. Going back to Saucony's!

I have bought Asics Cumulus since #11. Starting with #14 the quality has really deteriorated. No longer does my regular 5½ fit properly. These shoes are very uncomfortable. The arch hits in the wrong place, the back of the heel is too high and the shoe feels too loose. I do love the color. What a disappointment to have to send them back.

I have been a Nike wearer for life and recently decided to switch to Asics on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered the medium width shoes (do not have wide feet) and these were so uncomfortabe. Five minutes into my run my toes went numb and it took over 10 minutes to get them to feel normal again. They truly ruined my workout! I usually run about 30 miles a week and I couldn't even finish one mile in these. I have never had issues with my feet or breaking in shoes. Unfortunately, these are going back.

I currently own a pair of Asics and so I thought this shoe would be a good fit. My foot runs on the narrow end and my feet feel cramped in these. The laces are loose and my foot still feels cramped, from my toes, to my ankles, to the tops of my feet. I really wanted to like these shoes but my feet said no.
