I really wanted to like these shoes. The gel really was like walking on air. The problem was they were really hot on my feet, they felt like giant boot feet, the tongue was so thick at the ankle it felt like wearing some big bow around my ankle, and the final kicker was the rustly squishy sound they made when I walked. I work in health care and it sounded like I was wearing a diaper or some other noise emitting paper product. It was just too weird. I wear a 9 1/2, sometimes wide, and I ordered these in 10 1/2 wide. The fit wasn't bad, it was all the other negatives and the price tag that made me give up on these.

Disappointed with the fit. I'm usually a true 8.5 but the right shoe was a tad short and my toe was hitting the front of the shoe. Sadly I am returning them. I loved the color.

I got these on a recommendation for plantar fasciitis. I bought the half size up, which was fine, but the toe-box is very narrow and low, so my toes felt cramped and would hit with each step. Also, the stability they provide was great, but not for me. I felt like a toddler walking around with stiff ankles and for some reason, my left foot was turning out. This was all in the house, so I figure it was not going to get any better outside.
These may be a great sneaker for some, but if you need more toe room and you like a more plush, yet supportive sneaker, this one is not for you. I'm trying the Hoka Stinson Trails next, since they got amazing reviews for foot, ankle, knee and hip issues.

Love the cushioning. Happy they didn't offset the laces again in this version. Getting back closer to how great a shoe it used to be. Still not as wide in the instep/tongue region; so I guess wide is the new medium. The laces are back to items that stay tied again as well. Wide was not in stock, so I took a chance. Fooled by how good the cushioning feels. Next time will wait for wide 8! I've had 5 generations of these. Would also like a white and red/silversion version again...not all neon.

I really liked these till I put them on, the tongue would actually move to one side and reveal my sock, also I notice that they had a part inside/top that dig into the top of my foot. Not very comfy, I kept them but hated them since day one. Also I'd go at least a half size up.

I ordered these sneakers a year ago and loved them. Just reordered a 2nd pair and had to return them. Exact same sneakers, exact same size however, they were too tight. I ended up switching to the Brooks Glycerin and what a difference is feel. I absolutely love them over the Nimbus.

I think the hard plastic detailing across the top of the shoe and at the toe affects the fit. I tried getting a larger size, but the shoe still doesn't fit comfortably. My girlfriend says the same happened with her.

Pretty shoe, but this really runs small. I usually take a 11.5 M, I ordered a 12 w and it was still too snug. It really compressed my heel.

I've been reading running blogs and everybody seems to recommend the Nimbus 15 - and I can see why... But, let me tell you: shopping for these shoes has been insanely hard. In most shoes I wear a 9, occasionally an 8.5, but I've purchased a 9 M, 9.5 M, and 9.5 AA and NONE of them have fit. The sizing is very inconsistent in these shoes. The 9.5 M is slightly smaller than the 9 M and the 9.5 AA was WAY too long. I can't seem to find a pair that actually fits my foot. Further, I don't have particularly narrow feet, but the material in the heel (kind of memory foam-like) doesn't offer any kind of hug, so my feel wiggles around while I'm running. While there's no way my foot will fall out of the shoe while it's tied, it's frustrating to have my heel slipping out each time I run. Overall, as confusing as these shoes are, if you can find a pair that fits you... wear them. If not, it depends on much patience you have. Because of the differences in manufacturing, you'll need to try multiple pairs of the same size to find a pair that actually works.

Why is it that every Asics shoe is sized differently? This pair is the same size as the other Asics that I wear all the time. This one is so much smaller all over...length, width, across the top. Very uncomfortable, but I really like the look of the shoe...too bad. Another pair going back. :(

I've seen several reviewers say that the Nimbus 15 is quite different from the 14 and 13. I think this is true. For them it was a good thing, but for me it's a bad thing. These no longer feel like walking on clouds to me. They seem to have less cushioning and more "stability" features, such as stiffer support under the inside of the foot. I need a really neutral shoe with as much cushioning as possible. It seems these are no longer it. I have a narrow foot, a moderately high arch, and I under-pronate (roll out). I put my own orthotics in my running shoes. I also thought all the available colors/styles were pretty awful, but that's not a big factor for me in choosing shoes.

I really wanted to love these, based on everyone else's rave reviews, but I just don't. I have been using Asics Nimbus for as long as I can remember and have never felt the fit was off like I do this one. The sizing is off for me; my normal size is too small and the next size up is too big. Also, I hate every color option. Guess I will have to try the Nimbus 16.

Not my favorite shoes. They are smaller and narrow than I expected. The laces are so short I can hardly tie them.

I wear a 7.5 but ordered a 8 to allow for socks. Shoe fit very snug even without the sock. Beautiful color and well made but fit too tight and not enough toe room.

These shoes are comfortable, just as my previous two pairs of Asics were, but they are so unattractive! I know athletic shoes are not glamorous, but these are several steps down from the older Asics. If I didn't need them for comfort I would send them back. Shiny plastic trim looks just like something off the shelves of a cheap warehouse store, which is fine, but I expect the style to reflect the price. At least they were on sale. But I'll be looking for a change of brand from now on.

Runs small and narrow. Arch is higher than some but not high enough for me; my arches are very high. I normally wear a 10. Due to the other reviews I read, I ordered a 10.5, and my toes were still pushing too far into the shoe.

I wanted to love these shoes. I have been wearing Asics for years and have had great luck especially with the Gel Kayano which I still love. These shoes are very tight in the toe box so much so that even after several weeks of wear my toes are still falling asleep when I am working out. Great color and cushioning but not comfy.

I always wear a size 9, in any sneaker. Ordered a size 9, wide width. Not nearly the amount of room I was expecting. Has good support but sizing seems off.

After looking at these for months, I finally ordered a pair in size 10.5 because the reviews said they ran small and I usually wear a 10. My heel slips out even when I tie the laces tight and then my feet ache from trying to keep them on. Strange part is that even though the heels slip, the length is right. Weird fit. I love Asics and haven't had trouble in the past, but think the Nimbus isn't the right cut for my foot. I don't have wide feet and I have slightly narrow heels.

Loved these shoes until they started to deteriorate after less than 4 months. This is the second pair of Asics shoes in the past six months that have done this - the inside heel lining fabric wears out and then turns into a hole causing irritation and blisters. I have three pairs of athletic shoes that I alternate so they can each dry out between wears. I work out/run the equivalent of about 4-5 miles per day. The fabric in my other two pairs (Brooks) is holding up fine. The soles of both pairs of Asics shoes have worn down much faster, as well. Very disappointed in the quality of Asics right now.

I have worn Asics for over 20 years. My Nimbus 14s have bitten the dust, and rather too soon, only lasting five months this time, so I ordered up the 15s in my usual size, and, alas, too short. Sent them back, ordered up a size, and still too short! Up a full size and a half, which seems ludicrous, and they are acceptable. The tongue is huge; do not know why one needs so much cushioning there. I ordered the orange, and they are rather bland, and look faded and sort of cheap. They feel ok on the run,as far as cushioning and stability, and I will probably keep them, but I fear, with all the inconsistencies of size, and the cheapening of the look and feel compared to the old days of Asics, that this will be my last pair. It is an extremely heft price tag, and I do feel that other brands may offer some better quality control and a bit more for the money. All in all, pretty disappointed and sad at the gradual decline in quality of my favorite brand of running shoes. Can anyone recommend a new favorite brand?

These are not worth the money in my opinion. They are way too narrow on my not overly wide feet, and a full size smaller than my Nikes. The tongue would not even cover the top of my feet! The heel cup is far too shallow, and there is nowhere near enough arch support for my medium arched feet. Back to the drawing board to find squishy neutral shoes that do not look like crap.

I have loved the Nimbus 14's so thought I would like the 15's as well... great fit but the tongue on the shoe is HUGE! It sticks out like crazy and I just can't do wear them for that reason. They put way too much emphasis on cushioning there.

Great shoes...so comfortable and love the colors. However, I am a little disappointed in the make of the shoe just got them a few weeks ago and some of the seams along the sides are pulling apart. I bought this same shoe last fall and didn't have a single problem with them. Guess the manufacturing has changed. Love the comfort and fit of the shoe, but not impressed with the make.

These were decently comfortable. I have a moderately high arch and these were supportive. I bought these when I found the Brooks shoe I love wasn't available. I was, however, disappointed in how fast they fell apart. I would not have kept them if I knew they would start falling apart in about 4 months. Thus the low overall rating from me.
