These boots are pretty cute for snow boots. They fit well and I like that the strings can be tightened to keep the material close to your leg and to prevent them from falling down. I also really like that these boots are slip on and are very easy to put on and take off. The only major complaints that I have are that there seems to be a "tongue" (like you'd normally find in the front of tie up shoes) in the back of this boot but it's not attached to the rest of the boot, so it falls down easily and seems like it would let in cold air and snow, and that for some reason, the toe of these boots has an exaggerated curve upwards that makes them a little uncomfortable to walk in. Overall, a good looking boot that is pretty reasonably priced and seems like it would be warm and waterproof.

These boots look great, are warm and comfortable and lightweight. They do have lacing across the back. I do not like that the "tongue" at the back is not connected all the way up. It slips down while one is putting the boot. In deep snow some could enter along this area. I do not understand why a "snow boot" has any open space at all.

After years of slipping and sliding around NYC in the winter with rain boots, I finally gave in and bought snow boots. The traction is EXCELLENT on these and they are soooo comfortable. I went traipsing through a ton of snow and icy sidewalks and didn't slip once. Also, these might be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn that have been comfy from the get-go. I personally don't find any snow boots stylish, per se, but these are cute enough and definitely function like a champ. They aren't too, too warm (the faux fur lining is only on the calves), but that's generally okay by me because I was worried about my feet overheating indoors.

These are great boots! Cute, stylish, and lightweight. Unfortunately, when wearing smartwool socks, my regular size is way too small. So, I advise ordering one size up. I'll be stalking the site looking for a bigger size to order for myself!

Love these boots! They are warm, comfortable, and cute. I like that they have the rubber along the bottom instead of suede, which many boots have. It makes it easy to wipe them clean and keep them looking new. But they still look cute, not clunky. So far we had our first snowstorm, and my feet stayed toasty and dry. They are easy on and off when you are on the go.

These boots are very comfy and light, but unfortunately they felt tight in the width on my left foot and were too loose on the right foot. I ordered a half size up. I have difficulty getting a good fit because there is a half in difference between my left and right feet. Wish they could have worked out.

Stylish, comfortable, roomy and warm. Can't go wrong with The North Face or with Zappos. According to the 2014 Farmer's Almanac I'll be glad to have these boots this winter. At 62 I need Warmth and Traction. Style too.

Spent 4 days in traveling in Canada in 8 to 18 degree Fahrenheit weather with these boots. They were very comfortable and never cold! The boots had no trouble with snow, slush and mud in the city. Lightweight and easy to walk all day in. Bought 1/2 size bigger then my regular size to fit my big socks and that worked perfectly. Also very cute!

These shoes are great! They're comfortable, cute, and have excellent traction. I've been wearing them each time it snows and am very happy with how they function in terrible snow conditions. I have somewhat wide feet and they fit me perfectly, so if you have fairly narrow feet they may not be the best fit. Zappos services was also excellent as always.

I am very happy with these boots. I typically wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and the 7 1/2 were a great fit; however, i don't typically wear them with very thick socks. They are easy to slip on and off. When I do wear thicker socks, I have to tug a little harder to get my foot all the way in. I ordered the blue and am very happy with the color. The main bottom and middle part of the boot are a tame enough blue that I think they work as a neutral. They are plenty warm for me, though I have noticed that the very tip of the toes doesn't have the same warm fabric as the rest of the boot. The arch support isn't remarkable, but I don't find the shoe to be uncomfortable.

This boot got me through the most recent snowstorm in nyc with flying colors. Warm, comfortable, easy to put on and good traction. What else do you need in a snow boot? Oh, and yes, looks cute on. :)

hese shoes are stylish, warm, and comfortable. I just moved to the Pacific Northwest and realized ballet slippers weren't going to cut it. Many if my other "winter boots" weren't cutting it either. Not wanting to wear ugly hiking boots, these boots looked like fun despite them being much more than I normally spend in shoes. I'm glad I did--they are amazing. They add a funky splash of color to my teal, brown or grey outfits. If it's warmer than expected I can loosen up the laces and let them breathe. In the coldest nights I tie them up and just don't need to Even think about my feet.

This boot was great. True to size, though I could have gone a half size up to fit thicker socks. Super warm and comfortable, felt like wearing sneakers. Made it easy to put over either leggins or boots - the tongue is in the back and you can adjust how tight you tie it, if you need to squeeze in thicker pants. Definitely would recommend.

I really liked the fit and feel of these boots but I just couldn't get past the lace up the back. There was no way to get them on and off without lacing and unlacing them each time and trying to do that behind my leg was just too awkward. I really liked everything about these boots -- they kept my feet warm, the non-slip ice treads mostly worked, and they were really comfortable. If they laced up the front or slipped on or off, they would have been keepers.

First of all - these boots look fabulous on. They are very lightweight and that does make me wonder if they will actually hold up in cold weather. The toe part of the boot does not feel as warm as the rest of the boot which is disappointing.

I found these to be very cute and comfortable, and I am looking forward to wearing them. I usually wear a 7 in dress shoes and a 7½ in boots and tennis shoes, and the 7½ was just right.

I wear anywhere from a size 7.5 to an 8 depending on the maker of the shoe. I bought these in an 8 and they work well even with my jeans jammed down inside them and with thicker, wool socks. Having the tongue and laces in back does make it a little tricky to put them on, but you get used to it - it's not a huge thing. I wouldn't really say these have moderate arch support, but they do have SOME arch support. I will be investing in inserts for comfort - I have very high arches and the arch support in these doesn't really do much for me. We live in Michigan and have had a LOT of snow and ice so far this year. It has been bitter cold at times. In years past, my feet were always freezing cold and I have to say, I was rather skeptical as to whether or not these boots would truly keep my feet from being little blocks of ice on the ends of my legs, but they do. My feet are nice and toasty warm no matter how cold it is outside. They stay nice and dry no matter how sloppy conditions are with slush and snow. Aside from actually serving their purpose, they are cute boots - I've gotten quite a few compliments on them and I've had people ask where I got them. If you need something to keep your feet warm and dry, while still looking good, these are your boots!

I love these boots! They are warm, comfy, and have great traction. I wish they were a bit taller and would caution that they are not as rich of a brown color as they appear on the web page. They are more of a taupe. Overall they are great!

I wanted a slip-on boot because I'm nearly 7 months pregnant. Bending over to tie/lace/zip up boots is a challenge. So, I thought this boot would be the answer. While I do like it and once you adjust the laces on the back to your liking, it is a true slip-on...it's difficult to actually get your heel down in there. I mean, it's a real struggle! Same with taking them off! Maybe they'll wear in a bit and be a little easier with the on/off. I returned a pair of Sorels for this reason which, comparatively speaking, were probably better quality than these. Also thought they'd be a bit thicker than they are. Plus side is that they're lightweight and comfortable, though not arch support-sneaker comfy. We shall see just how warm they are in our chilly Chicagoland winters. I will keep them anyway and just have my husband help me get them on/off this year.

These boots didn't fit quite right. I bought a different style of Sorrels from Sorrel and I had the same problem. I think its how my foot is built that the seam of rubber across the top of my foot is uncomfortable. I have had this problem with other shoes from various stores so its not the boot itself. I also have wide feet. Zapppos was great in handling the return. Would definitely purchase through Zappos again.

I wish I loved these boots. They are comfy. They are warm. They are waterproof. They are tall enough to let you go tromping through snow. I have no complaints there. But what the heck is with this lace-up winter boot fad, and why on EARTH would you put the laces in the back? I searched for a month for a pair of boots that had a waterproof lower area AND zippers rather than laces, and I eventually bought these because it looked like the laces might be more for looks than for actually keeping your dumb boot on, but no dice. Kept them rather than sending them back because it's January in Minnesota and I need boots NOW. But holy cow, what a stupid design. It's bad enough to have tongues in winter boots that let snow seep in the sides, but laces in the back? Are you kidding me? If you buy these boots, be prepared to do a lot of awkward, hunched-over body contortions just to tie your dang shoe. I liked the look, simplicity and the lightness of the boot, but the toe area was stiff and forced my toes to extend upwards, almost like the boot was over-rockered. Too bad, the look is a good alternative to the relentless Joan of Arctics!

Nice looking boots but the flap on the back sags and cold air or wet snow will get in. This is also a problem when you're putting them on. Unfortunately, I've worn them in the wet snow otherwise, I would have returned them.
