The Omniheat insulation provides great warmth on the really cold days in New York City without making my feet sweat. They also provide great grip in the snow, are super light and comfortable. They are a bit hard to get on unless you really give the laces a lot of slack but once they are on, they do not budge. I only use them for a rough commute to the office but I am sure if I was in the mountains they would perform just as great. These are great shoes!

Excellent boots for hiking and for snow. I spent a hole weekend in the Rocky Mountains with them and my foots were always warm and dry. I definitely recommend them.

I bought these boots for our Tahoe ski trip and I'm glad I did. First off, they are extremely comfortable. They're lightweight but substantial enough to take a beating. I felt very sure footed in the snow. They're a bit hard to get on but it's been a while since I've worn boots and I'm not as young as I used to be. Buy the boots. You won't be disappointed.

I got these for my brother for Christmas and he loves them. He often refuses to wear boots in the winter because he finds them too heavy on his feet. These boots are very light weight so if you have someone in your life who hates boots this might be the solution for you. I read reviews of people saying they found these boots hard to put on and not true to size but my brother wears a size 10 and these boots fit perfectly. They are a very good value for what you get in these boots.

These are really nice boots! They are very snug and comfortable right out of the box. I wore them on an eight hour road trip the next day just to see how they felt with no load. They were comfortable with thin socks as well as thick hiking socks. You have to tug hard to get them on, but what a great fit! I worked all day cutting and pulling logs out of the woods and they made the job easier. I feel like I could go anywhere through anything with these boots on my feet! and they are surprisingly light for such sturdiness. The last pair of boots that I bought (about 10 years ago) were twice as heavy. I would expect to pay much more. This was a very good deal. Thank you, Zappos, for making it so easy to order shoes and get the right ones.

I just received my boots after much research. I was looking for a solid winter boot that came in wider sizes. Not looking for any extreme boots, and my feet are not exceptionally wide. The regular sized boots always seem a bit tight with winter socks. They fit great, well made, perfect for my walking around Portsmouth, New Hampshire for First Night 2015!

Exactly what I was looking for. A warm boot for snow and wet weather. Has a nice subtle look to it so it is easy to wear to work on bad weather days. Lots of grip on the bottom and comfortable.

Nice boot but should have taken the advice of other reviewers who recommended ordering a half size larger than your normal size. I had to return and reorder.

Very comfortable fit, true to size and width and good arch. The lacing system without D rings made it harder to get on and off.

This has been my first full week of wearing these shoes. They are only the second pair of boots I've owned, and I knew the first ones weren't quality even when I bought them. That aside, these shoes are comfortable and get the job done. I find the inside sole is very slightly on the slippery side, and while it's never caused me to lose my balance, it does not inspire complete confidence. The size I ordered fits well, with some space left for thicker socks without cramping my toes. The ankle support feels firm - allow it a while to break in when you first get your hands on it. All in all I am alright with this purchase. I am not bouncing off the walls in excitement, but I'm certainly not disappointed either.

The boot is okay but the service from Zappos is the worst of any online store any of us have ever experienced. They get the information wrong. It takes them 3 days to answer your inquiry. And the overnight delivery gets processed 5 days after receipt. They lose orders and blame delivery outfits even though they never gave it to any delivery outfit. It is a joke.
